The location is a bit off, but it is very quiet. The hotel can also be easily rented by car. It is suitable for a quiet holiday. The villa has all the facilities and the swimming pool is directly opposite the sea.

This is the second Banyan Tree Hideaway I've stayed at; the first was in Bali. It's undoubtedly the most luxurious experience in all of Krabi, bar none. With only 54 villas in the entire hotel, even at full occupancy, there are only about a hundred guests, ensuring peace and privacy. I stayed for three days and never left the hotel premises. The restaurant's Thai food is among the top 10% in all of Thailand, far surpassing many 'influencer' restaurants. Our butler, Sun, is Thai and has visited China. Many of the staff members have interned at hotels in China for several years. By the second day, whether it was the regular service staff or the restaurant staff, they all knew my name, addressing me as Mr. So-and-so or Ms. So-and-so. It truly felt like coming home. They were always ready to chat with you, though this might feel a bit uncomfortable for those who are socially anxious. Hong Island is a complimentary hotel excursion, departing at 9 AM daily from the private beach at the hotel's Sunset Bar, returning at 12 PM. Water and towels are provided free of charge, and you only need to pay a 300 baht island entrance fee. If you wish, you can go every day. Upon your return, your butler and the Sunset Bar staff will be lined up with drinks, iced towels, and a car, ready to welcome you back. Honestly, a room costing over ten thousand per night is truly incomparable to the Banyan Tree next door. It's not that Banyan Tree is bad; they just have completely different concepts. The Hideaway is also different from a traditional Ritz-Carlton, considering there are only 7 such properties worldwide (some say 9, I haven't confirmed). You need to show your check-in confirmation at the entrance; outsiders are not allowed into the hotel. Privacy, privacy, privacy is the main focus throughout your stay. Finally, you have a good chance of seeing small lizards, but crocodiles are much harder to spot – it's purely luck. They don't bite, but of course, don't provoke them; after all, they are wild animals. I hope this helps anyone planning a trip.

Absolutely loved our stay at Anana Ecological Resort Krabi! This was honestly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The resort is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and perfect if you’re looking to relax. The highlight for us was definitely our Pool Access Room. My husband especially loved it because we could step straight from our room into the pool. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and felt very luxurious. It made our stay even more special. We were also lucky that the resort wasn’t crowded during our stay, so the pool felt almost private. It was so peaceful and we really enjoyed every moment. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back again. Let's start with the positives: The resort is small with a limited number of rooms, and the staff's service is excellent, with great attention to detail. For example, when checking out, they came to help me with my luggage in advance. I had booked a car through Trip.com myself, and when I came out, the staff had already put my luggage in the car I booked. Tubkaek's overall environment is much better than Ao Nang's. The hotel has its own beach, the sunsets are beautiful, it's not crowded, and the beach is relatively clean. Now for the negatives: Since all the hotel rooms are made of wood, the sound insulation isn't great. If there are children upstairs, it can get very noisy, which is why we ended up changing rooms during our stay. The hotel pool is quite small, mostly suitable for kids to splash around, not really for serious swimming. Overall, it was still a good experience.

1. There are still quite a few hidden hygiene issues, and it's clear that the cleaning isn't very thorough. We stayed for two nights and only needed house-keeping once, right? Yet after taking a shower, I realized no bath towels had been provided. Luckily, we brought our own disposable ones. 2. The room had a rather heavy musty smell and needed more ventilation. It's recommended that the hotel provide air purifiers. The pool water gets quite cold as soon as night falls, making it pretty much unusable. 3. There were many Chinese guests during the holiday. It was said that the front desk spoke Chinese, but from start to finish, I didn't hear a single staff member speak a word of Chinese. However, all the staff were very polite. 4. Upon check-in, the staff mentioned a complimentary benefit where we could choose one of three options (spa for two / afternoon tea / set dinner). This was unexpected and a huge plus! For breakfast, you could choose between Chinese and Western options, and over our two-day stay, we practically tried everything. The dinner was exceptional, especially the curry (Photo 6), which has a rich shrimp paste base—if you have the palate for it, this will be the curry of a lifetime! Also, the free local specialty snacks provided by the hotel (coconut-flavored mini steamed buns, far left in Photo 3) literally melt in your mouth, sweet and refreshing! When checking out, I even asked the hotel where to buy them, and was told they are available on 7-Eleven online. 5. Earplugs are strongly recommended for sleeping. Otherwise, the birds and frogs outside the room will be noisy enough to make you question your sanity. 6. The location is very convenient. Just a short walk out the door leads to the main commercial street, making dining, shopping, and entertainment easily accessible. It's a 15-minute walk to Ao Nang Beach.

For the last night of our trip, we wanted to get away from the crowds and truly unwind, so we chose Nakamanda Resort. It proved to be the perfect spot for travelers seeking peace and quiet. The resort is nestled in a tranquil beachfront area, offering a serene environment. Its Thai-style architecture truly enhances the holiday vibe. Enjoying a simple yet refined buffet breakfast while watching the sun slowly illuminate the sea was incredibly therapeutic. From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, they have Happy Hour with buy-one-get-one-free cocktails. We ordered two drinks and sat by the restaurant, watching the sunset and chatting. The ambiance was wonderful, making it the most romantic night of our entire trip. Overall, this resort is perfect for winding down a trip – quiet, comfortable, and ideal for slowing down and savoring the moment. If we return to Krabi and are looking for a truly relaxing escape, I would definitely choose Nakamanda again.

I decided to spend my solo birthday trip at this hotel and was truely impressed. Everything was wonderful and made my special day even more memorable. Huge thanks to the hotel team for a lovely cake and decoration, this truely made me feel so special 💝🎂💐 I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I will be honest, I was put off for a long time because of the reviews I saw on other websites as well as this one. But I decided to give this place a chance and come with my family all the way from Bangkok. And we absolutely loved it. The service was nothing like mentioned, cleanliness was at standard. We paid breakfast at the counter for 200 baht, that was worth the price. We Absolutely Loved it here and will come back during Christmas again. Their art pieces are also amazing to look at.
