MM263314****The property was spotlessly clean, grand in scale, and beautifully decorated in a European style, making for a very comfortable stay. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which was much appreciated! The service was incredibly warm and attentive; they even sent up fresh fruit, which was a lovely gesture. The picturesque surroundings truly gave it a resort-like feel – absolutely fantastic! The local scenery is charming, and the location is excellent, being very close to the Lingshan Grand Buddha. We enjoyed comfortable amenities, stunning mountain views right outside, and wonderful fresh air. Taihu Lake is also just a short distance away, and the nights were wonderfully peaceful. Highly recommend this beautiful spot! Thank you so much!

GGuest UserIf u need to travel to 灵山大佛 and 拈花湾, I will propose staying in this hotel for the convenience to catch the early 乐2号线tourist bus.
Taking metro to shopping mall(line1) and 惠山ancient town(line3, change to line4) is quite nearby and convenient too.
Room is huge, clean and nice. Bed is firm and pillow is soft but firm. I only find the breakfast spread is not up to international standards.
Nothing much to do in the nearby other than convenience of the train, metro and bus services availability.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a remote area, but parking is convenient, the greenery is also very good, and the hotel is very large. We did not choose the breakfast package this time because the package offered was bundled with scenic spot tickets. The facilities in the room are a bit old, the faucet pressure for the shower is not strong enough, the large shower head does not gather, and the water temperature is hot and cold. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel tastes average, the dishes are not much, and the price is in line with the five-star charging standard. The elevator broke down on the first day I entered, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I hope the hotel can maintain the elevator regularly.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pullman Wuxi New Lake, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations in every possible way. From the moment I arrived, the level of hospitality was outstanding. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. A special mention goes to Hotel Manager Mike, whose dedication to guest satisfaction truly stood out. Mike went above and beyond to make sure my experience was seamless and enjoyable — from offering local recommendations to checking in personally to ensure I was comfortable. His professionalism and genuine care for guests are what make this hotel shine.
The hotel itself is well designed, with spacious rooms that are very comfortable. The facilities, including the fitness center and indoor pool, were immaculate and well-maintained. I also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet — a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to both Western and Asian tastes.

AAltea MACThis hotel exceeded our expectations! We got there late at night and they were very fast with the check-in. The room was lovely and very clean. It got better in the morning as we were able to explore the hotel with sunlight and the gardens and pool are beautiful!! 😍 After an amazing breakfast with a lot of food variety, we enjoyed the haifu experience included in the package. The staff allowed us to borrow two costumes and it was fun!
A special mention to Song Hao. He was very nice and helpful. When we checked-out they drove us to the Giant Buddha. Everything in this hotel was 10/10! Hopefully we will come back one day!

GGuest UserWhen checked in. I was told a welcome fruits will be arranged but there isn't. So its ok. They are helpful as we need a wheelchair. They help me pushed to the dangkou ancient boat ride which was very very helpful and introducing the places to us. When I went back to the restaurant for dinner, we asked for wheelchair again, that guy just send us the wheelchair and walk away without helping g this time. Busy with his mobile phone. When we reached the room, I arranged the spa. The staff waited for me at the wrong room, then sent us up to the spa which was a distance from our room. Especially with injured ankle. They mistaken 2pax spa to 1 pax. Told us to do 1 by 1. 90minutes 1 by 1. What a joke. We walked off and the guy offer to sent us back to the room with short cut. Ended up he brought us to the wrong room again, causing us walk even further. Again, the ankle is injured. Really unpleasant experiences.

GGuest UserA super superb homestay [wow] The environment is too beautiful, the location of the homestay is not remote, very close to the Lingshan Giant Buddha and Nianhua Bay Scenic Area. Every staff in the hotel is very warm and thoughtful, the afternoon tea provided is very rich, the housekeeper's freshly ground coffee is also very fragrant, in the evening, eat an authentic Sichuan hot pot in the garden of the hotel, praise it.

MMaksim27We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Everything went smoothly, and I felt very well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again!
The only downside is the breakfast - most of the dishes were cold and variety was not great.

GGuest UserI expected so much more from a place calling itself the GRAND Hotel. This was not even average (at best). Check in was not very friendly. The room had many issues, for example half of the lights did not work, so the room was very dark the entire time I was there. The Wifi was really spotty and was difficult to sign into. The bed was okay, had a so so sleep. To be honest I have stayed in far better places in Wuxi for a way cheaper price, but I was tired and did not want to complain or change rooms/hotels. I will say that I was very disappointed for the price. I only chose this place because of the tub and pool. The tub was ok and to be honest after seeing the state of the room I did not even bother with the pool. I figured if the room was not that great then they probably don't clean the pool well. They had ads for in room massage but it was not available that day (then why advertise all over). The Air Con was a joke, it did not cool well at all. The TV was ancient and I had to mess with the batteries to even turn it on. Check out was not that polite either. A couple positives, the bellboy helped me leave with my bags, and I can say that the girls at the morning breakfast were very polite and kind...but this is not their fault, the food was pretty horrendous. At least the coffee was decent and plentiful. Overall the rest of the staff made me feel like I was a big inconvenience while being there. My advice is to check reviews and get a WAY better hotel for elsewhere for far less money. I will not be back to this old, shoddy, dodgy hotel.
