I chose to extend my stay at the Grand Noble Castle Hotel, simply because I couldn't bear to leave the view of Chang'an from my window. The hotel's Tang-style castle architecture faces Yongning Gate across the street, offering an unparalleled and unbeatable view. In the morning, I could gaze at the long stretch of the Ming City Wall's blue bricks, and then wait for dusk to fall, as the city tower lights illuminated one by one. I could enjoy the night view of the South Gate without even stepping out. The room was clean and quiet, and the bedding was comfortable, providing a peaceful rest after a day of sightseeing. The staff's service was gentle and appropriate, and extending my stay was smooth and efficient. The hotel is close to the subway, and the Forest of Stone Tablets is within walking distance, making it very convenient. Staying at the foot of the ancient city wall, falling asleep to the millennia-old Chang'an – if you appreciate the historical ambiance of an ancient capital when visiting Xi'an, this is undoubtedly the ideal choice. I will prioritize this hotel again on my next visit.
