"The reception staff were very unfriendly – they didn't even know how the parking garage worked, and we didn't get any discount as hotel guests. When we wanted towels for the indoor pool and sauna, we were told to go back to our room on the 5th floor to get them. You have to walk past the restaurant and reception in your bathrobe, and then outside the building to another building. The air conditioning was unpleasant, and the hotel room windows couldn't be opened. The restaurant was closed for a private event. Due to construction work, the exterior lights were on all night, and everything was visible from the outside – no curtains."

"This is a very retro hotel, and the facilities are a bit old, but the breakfast is exceptional! I've stayed in many hotels while traveling abroad for business, and this breakfast is definitely in my top three. The service is also excellent; there was a handwritten welcome letter in the room upon check-in, which was very thoughtful!"

"The location was great, being close to the bus terminal. Also, when I asked the front desk staff if I could use the microwave, they kindly showed me how to use it and even lent me cutlery."

"The breakfast was adequate but not fabulous (especially in terms of the protein choices) - there are preserved meats like hams and sausages and the only alternative is eggs (scsrambled and hardboiled) - if you are a pescatarian, it might not work so well for you. The highlight of the buffet was likely the waffle-maker (self-service). There are various milks available for your drinks, juices, water, tea, coffee. There is limited yoghurt (plain and fruit flavours) - no skyr -, good selection of vegetables, small cheese selection. The hotel rooms are definitely dated but the size is very decent; you can open your cargo bags fully in a few areas. I like that the floors of the room aren't carpeted (at least for my room). Toilet size is generous but the shower area design is impractical - there is no door so the floor outside the shower section will definitely get wet. There are bedside sockets and lights. Window faces a rooftop (non-accessible) courtyard and other hotel room windows (you can see and maybe even talk to the people in the room facing your window I kept my window shaded and closed mostly). Staff were immensely helpful and friendly - I only regret not getting all their names to compliment them individually. The general facilities are a little older and dated. Location is pretty central (to the Aarhus Central Station (7 to 10 mins) and then a shortcut straight from the entrance of the hotel down to the shopping street (about 5 minutes). I would stay here again if required; it is centrally located and good enough."

"Great hotel stay overall :) Good location, nice rooms friendly staff and really good breakfast!! Only negative comment would be that there is not a lot of light in the rooms - Denmark gets pretty dark in autumn and winter, so would be nice with more lighting :)"
