"On checking in we were shown to our room. The room was ample in size. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good nights sleep. The en-suite had been refurbished with a shower. A problem with water pressure was promptly attended to. As we were eating as a group of fourteen, we had pre ordered, and our meals were served speedily all together. Our choices of food were hot and well presented. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu again served without delay. The staff were attentive nothing being too much trouble making for a relaxing stay."

From our room to breakfast and our host this is a very special place a real gem, would highly recommend and will return when in this area again. "We rented the apartment and one single room. The staff are very friendly. Both place has harbour view. The apartment is not very close to the hotel and there is a 10 minutes walk. But the apartment is very lovely. The only thing is that there are no lifts In either place. Also, the window for the hotel room are very old and has the 2 wood boards instead of the curtains. It is very original, but not really sound proof."

"Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Large comfy bed and pillows. Delicious breakfast. Small touches like the cold milk and water , tea/coffee facilities accompanied by Welsh cakes in the room felt extra special . House felt grand but cosy. Gorgeous garden and lovely conservatory to enjoy the view. A true homely feel to a very grand house . We would highly recommend and will definitely return in the future ."
