Instrumental music plays from the center from morning to night, but it can be turned off from the room. There are doorbells in each room. "Seriously- do stay here! It's beautiful, genuinely Javanese, superbly comfortable, food is excellent, art is everywhere, staff are fantastic- I can't say how much I love this place. I'm bringing my family back. My tip is to fully embrace this experience. Take the massage. Walk in the village. Have the freely offered local herbal health drinks. Read the books. Appreciate the calls to prayer, even if you (like me) are not religious. After a big day out, this is a place to really come home to."

"A short week on a dream site Super pleasant setting and attentive staff There are two sites for the same hotel Family place and the other We had booked with our two daughters in the family village where there is the restaurant and a play area. When arriving, mistake the play area right in front of the accommodation a stage set up with large speakers the mini zoo right in front We asked to change and the miracle happened They showed us the rooms and other accommodation available in the other area (the reception area) and everything was perfect! Breakfast served at the foot of the room, crazy view of the cottage and the swimming pool In short, I recommend 30 min from Yogyakarta 1 hour from the two main temple sites Be careful on Friday to find a taxi :-)"

"We fist arrived at another BnB that got great reviews , but when we got there it was awful , grotty , dingy , hard beds 😬 So I quickly got my phone out & saw that this little Boutique Hotel LOOKED gorgeous & got some good reviews. We jumped in a GRAB & headed there. And , boom 💥, straight away we knew we had hit “gold”. Super cute , tropical 🌴, cruisy feel. A wonderful friendly staff. Room was beautiful. Beds SUPER comfortable. Could not fault anything EXCEPT the chlorine in the pool was WAY too STRONG. I hope they addressed that issue. Your eyes became burning red when you got out after a swim. That was the only & only complaint we had. Otherwise it was just heavenly ✨👌"

"I genuinely believe this is the best value-for-money hotel in Yogyakarta, and absolutely worth staying at. The entire property is sprawling and beautiful, like a museum (which it actually has!). The staff are dedicated, responsible, and very patient. The hotel food is delicious, and the manager was incredibly welcoming, recommending many fantastic places to visit. Plus, Bella, the hotel dog, is incredibly heartwarming. I highly recommend this place whether you're on a solo trip or traveling with family or a partner. The hotel is very quiet. Many might wonder if the room decor feels a bit 'Chinese horror' – don't worry about that at all! It's a completely different and wonderful cultural experience."
