I helped a lady and son by getting them out of the rain and off the streets for one night. I put it on my credit card but told the clerk I didn't know them and I could barely afford one night to help them. She assured me she would make note and nothing else would be charged to my card. The next day another charge came through for another night I contacted navy Federal and cancelled my credit card. Nevertheless a few days later the two charges one for $149 and one for $114 turned into $939 and $387 charge on my card. I contacted my bank and started a dispute and my bank ask me to contact holiday inn Express so I talked to a manager Karli and a general manager named Khalid each one would say talk to the other until I arrived at the hotel and Karli told me she wouldn't do anything for me. But while I was there another clerk tells me in front of Karli the front desk manager that Judy and Jamal are known criminals. How or why would a business of this standard would charge up my credit card knowing these two are criminals and their name is completely different than mine which is on my credit card. My bank had cancelled my card at $149 & $114 but this holiday inn because it was pending from the first day recalculated the charges knowing the card was cancelled and forced more charges through them pending transactions. Breakfast is very simple, bread, coffee; parking is free, the bed is big, no problem with children; the location is a bit off, but the motel, it is very convenient to start eating nearby Deng; the outside is very simple, but the room is very clean and large, there is Microwave oven. In short, the price is very high.

This is one of those old ladies who used to be quite a charmer back in her prime. Today, the place is wilted and trying to stay fresh, but is losing the appearance battle. As far as service, the front desk is terrific. The price is OUTSTANDING, but don’t expect frills. This hotel was once probably a big center of attention, and even had a nightclub. The room I was given was quite clean, although, again, appeared to have sagged over the years. There are definite flaws (shall door had no knob, washer/dryer weirdly placed in a passage hall, incongruent furniture, drapes that don’t seem custom to the size of the windows). The paint is fresh, but glaring in its attempt to be ‘bright’. Still, it’s clean, bug-free, and everything ‘functioned’ as it was intended. Recommended, but guys might handle it better than ladies.
