"Staying at the hotel during the typhoon turned out to be a smart decision. While the entire city was shut down due to the severe weather, the hotel remained operational, with its restaurant open and serving delicious meals. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, despite the storm outside. The hotel had reinforced gates designed to withstand strong winds, which made me feel incredibly safe. The atmosphere was surprisingly cozy, and I appreciated the staff's efforts to ensure guests were comfortable and well-fed. I definitely plan on returning for another stay in the future!"

"I had a great stay at the Royal Garden Hotel. They organized early check-in for me and even upgraded our room for us. I made a special request to celebrate my father’s birthday and they sent us a whole big cake! The amenities were well rounded including a very large swimming pool, a spa and spacious rooms. The bed was very soft and comfortable. This hotel is suitable for everyone from business travelers to families with travelers and couples. Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent service."

It's only a 14-minute walk to the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. Free parking is available for self-drivers, though nearby roads can get congested during evening rush hour. **🌿 Environment:** Newly opened in 2022, the smart rooms are equipped with voice-activated controls for lighting/power, electric curtains, and 55-inch smart TVs with screen mirroring. Serta 'Zero Pressure' mattresses and TOTO bathroom fixtures significantly enhance comfort. The industrial-style design is sleek and modern. **🎯 Experience:** A year after my last visit to Dongguan, I chose to stay at this hotel again, and my experience was excellent. Robot room service is quick and efficient. The city views from the large windows are stunning. The hotel even upgraded my room type, and the breakfast spread offers a great variety."

"My stay was really comfortable. Reception, the gym, the lounge on floor 2 and the lobby bar, all excellent. Jasmine at 14:00 pm. at the front desk was extremely helpful. The room was also really nice, I would say above the average 5 star. The picture of the tower is from the room."

"This is the second time I stayed in this old hotel. The hardware facilities are well maintained as always. They are all very good. It is still the same room. It is comfortable to sleep in. I hope it will continue to maintain its standard. After all, there are not many such hotels in Dongguan."

"Great Hotel with Excellent Facilities, But Poor Tennis Court Experience We stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located just 700 meters from the metro, making it easy to reach. The property is spacious and includes an outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna, gym, a tennis court (details below), a large dining hall, and two separate massage areas offering various treatments. Room & Service: The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a larger room upon arrival. The staff were friendly and polite. Food: We’d rate the food 3.5 out of 5. The buffet is advertised as European, but the dishes lean heavily toward Chinese cuisine. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste, so we decided to skip dinner. Massage: There are two massage salons. We booked a foot massage, but the therapists ended up giving us an almost full-body massage, paying extra attention to sore areas. It was a wonderful experience — 5 out of 5. Pools & Sauna: Both pools are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you prefer fewer people, we recommend the indoor pool around 7 a.m. and the outdoor one around 2 p.m. The pools were clean and warm, and we appreciated the Swedish sauna in the locker room. Again — 5 stars. Gym: The gym is well-equipped and never crowded. Open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. — another 5 stars. Tennis Court: Unfortunately, this was the only major disappointment. Despite several attempts to book and show up at the scheduled time, no staff were present. Phone calls were ignored or we were told, “I don’t have time to talk.” We eventually got a refund (booked via *******), but the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Rating: 1 out of 5. Overall: Aside from the tennis court issue, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. Great amenities, clean rooms, and a peaceful environment."

"Hotel gives me big surprise in the room for my birthday celebration trip. Thanks! Service is really good and staff are polite. One suggestion to improve is to install USB charger as my phone cannot get charged over the night since I don’t have the electric plug for my USB line. Other than that, I do have a pleasant and relaxing stay with the hotel."

"We booked a cozy room and upon check-in, the staff informed me that they upgraded me. I was so happy but when I reached the room and compared my reservation details, it's what I have paid for. So where is the upgrade? I never confront the staff but this left a bad note. Why tell lies to your guest when there is no upgrade."
