The room was incredibly spacious with a 2-meter bed, which is bigger than the 1.8-meter beds you find in most other hotels. The ambiance was cozy, and the lighting fixtures were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast offered a great variety. I'll definitely stay here again.

This was a splendid experience from start to finish. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, minimalistic, and exceptionally clean. The soundproofing is excellent, and the bed and pillows are honestly to die for — some of the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel.
The spa was absolutely fabulous, and the treatments we received were out of this world. The whole hotel has a wonderful sense of peace and serenity. Every day, the staff brought oils and incense to our room, which was such a lovely touch and made the room smell divine.
The food was another highlight. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, with a great mix of Western and Asian cuisine and plenty of choices, so there really is something for everyone. The pool area is also beautiful. Some of the sunbeds could perhaps use an update and a little more cleaning, but this didn’t really affect our experience, especially as the large, fresh towels provided covered them completely.
The service, however, is what made the stay particularly memorable. Everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. A special thank you to Kira, who helped us with absolutely everything — from booking our dinner table and explaining where to find things, to helping us take advantage of promotions and arranging a late check-out. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. I would also like to mention Liu from the spa, who was equally wonderful. Liu helped recommend the right treatments for us and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming throughout our visit.
The only downside for me — and this is not really the hotel’s fault — was the number of families allowing children to scream, run around, or ride small bikes and scooters through common areas, including the dining hall and reception. Considering how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere of the hotel otherwise is, I would appreciate slightly stricter rules regarding behaviour in shared spaces so that all guests can enjoy that sense of calm.
Overall, I will absolutely be back. I left feeling as though I had completely reset both my brain and my body, which is exactly what I wanted from this stay. A beautiful, relaxing experience that I would happily recommend to anyone looking for a proper escape.

[Perfect Stay Experience] The room was more spacious and brighter than I expected, with fantastic views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. Attention to detail was evident everywhere: the mini-bar had a great selection of drinks, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and was equipped with a smart toilet. The complimentary tea bags were of excellent quality, and it was lovely to sit by the window in the afternoon enjoying a cuppa. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk service was warm and efficient, and they proactively upgraded my room type. Upon checking out, they even gave me a lovely little gift. Absolutely great value for money, this has become my go-to choice in this city. Highly recommended!

Location: 5/5 – Absolutely Strategic!
The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action.
Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations
The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered.
Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell
The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it.
Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic
Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby.
Overall:
This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.
Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast.
Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

XianfeiCame to Dongguan specifically for the Dragon Boat Festival and booked the Kangdi Hotel in advance – definitely didn't disappoint! The room was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel restaurant also has a kids' play area, which was perfect for traveling with children; my little one had a blast. Our butler, Alex, provided attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay, doing his best to accommodate all our requests. He really took good care of us. Overall, this family trip was a perfect experience, and it's definitely worth bringing the kids back again!

Our stay in the Harbour View 2-Bedroom Residence at K11 ARTUS was exceptional from start to finish. The residence was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning harbour views that made every moment special.
What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding service. Every member of the team was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the residence spotless while being discreet and respectful of our schedule.
We especially appreciated the sense of privacy throughout our stay. Despite the high level of service, we always felt like we had our own peaceful retreat, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
K11 ARTUS combines luxury, comfort, exceptional hospitality, and privacy in a way that is hard to match. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium stay in Hong Kong.

LinyinaiFacilities: The newly built hotel has a great layout and excellent service. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are large, and the gym is spacious. There's a third-party tennis court nearby that you can probably book via the 'Jin Mang Guan' mini-program, but I'd recommend the Dongguan Tennis Center nearby as it's more cost-effective.
Location: It's super convenient, located at the foot of Qifeng Mountain. Keyuan Garden is a 15-minute drive away, and other good restaurants are within a 10-minute drive.
Breakfast was terrible! For a hotel of this caliber, there was no queuing system or escort to a designated table. At the entrance, they just told me, 'I'm letting you know in advance, there are no more seats inside.' Not only do you have to go in and fight for a seat yourself, but the variety and taste of the dishes were also very ordinary. During the Dragon Boat Festival, they were severely understaffed. I suggest you don't book a room with breakfast; wouldn't ordering takeout be better?
