The environment and hygiene are consistently excellent, offering great value for money. The service attitude is fantastic and very efficient; they even helped replace the hairdryer. Plus, they didn't rush us to check out early. Highly recommend!

Guest UserI stayed at this hotel recently and was disappointed with the room condition. The room had a very strong cigarette smell, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. In addition, the windows could not be fully closed, which made the room feel drafty and less secure. Due to these issues, I would not choose to stay here again.

The hotel is located in the bustling city of Shilongyan, a place steeped in the hustle and bustle of life. A secluded retreat amidst the bustle, the hotel stands out as a tranquil retreat. I mistakenly chose a red king-size bed room, which couldn't be relocated. With trepidation, I entered the room, which the concierge had opened wide. I used my phone's flashlight for a crude inspection, hoping it would be safe.
The hotel's king-size bed was a red, European-style round bed. Lying on it, above the ceiling was a large painting of a little princess in the garden by the 19th-century Spanish painter Raimondo. The next day, breakfast was a light meal on a small, simple European-style garden terrace on the third floor.
Thinking of the hotel's name, it seems the designers put a lot of thought into it. How many guests can truly understand this?
In a fleeting night on life's journey, in a quiet little hotel amidst the bustling city, both prosperity and desolation will fade with the wind. Just like the little princess in the painting, all beauty cannot withstand the ruthless passage of time.

Location: 5/5 – Absolutely Strategic!
The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action.
Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations
The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered.
Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell
The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it.
Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic
Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby.
Overall:
This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.
Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast.
Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

Returning for my fourth time! feeling calm and knowing exactly what to expect and what standards will be met. It is so reassuring.
The staff here are truly amazing. They are incredibly responsive on WeChat, handling any request or issue instantly, and you can trust them completely to ensure a smooth stay.
The air conditioning is strong and efficient, and most of the room's features are controlled by buttons right next to the bed, which is incredibly convenient. There is an air purifier for smoking rooms. The room also has a large, comfortable desk for work, plenty of power outlets, a mini-fridge, and an electric kettle. Food delivery is even brought right to your door by robots!
Right behind the hotel, there is a huge supermarket stocked with everything you could need at very good prices, along with a McDonald's, various restaurants, and a small mall.
Highly recommended! 🌷 This is an aesthetic, pleasant, and well-equipped hotel that strictly maintains its standards over time and provides very good value for money. Truly they deserve applauses 👏👏👏👏👏

Guest UserThe hotel was quite nice, and the service was good. It's right by the road, making it convenient for getting around. I would consider staying there again next time.
Room issues:
1. The floor wasn't clean when I checked in, and there was a lot of dust around the bed.
2. There were unidentified stains on the sofa that weren't cleaned, which was a bit off-putting.
Other issues: There were many white sheets and duvet covers hanging on the corner of the emergency exit handrail, and I didn't see any staff member clean it up until check-out. I hope the hotel can follow up on this.

[Except for the location, everything else is impeccable]
[Underground garage, new facilities, warm air conditioning, large and hot bath water]
The hotel environment is elegant, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. The bedding is comfortable and provides a good night's sleep. The hotel's service is thoughtful and meticulous, and the staff is warm and friendly, making people feel the warmth of home. The geographical location is also very advantageous, and traveling and shopping are very convenient. All in all, this was a very satisfying accommodation experience and I highly recommend it to friends who are about to travel here!

HazelFor foreign friends who would like to stay in this hotel, the hotel itself is called Oriental Hotel.
Location-wise, it's next to the shopping centre, lots of restaurants and a nice market. The city itself is alive at night so it's best to walk around the area.
Cleanliness- the hotel is mostly clean and every things packed individually and sanitized.
The hotel staff is very lovely. She offers a lot of help during our stay. She is happy to provide our needs for hiking as well. She is sweet and a very nice woman.
The bed is soft and comfy. She even gave us extra pillows for more comfort.

Anonymous UserThe hotel environment is very good. If you drive there, you can park for free. The service is good and clean. The mattress is comfortable. I slept well during the trip. There is also a separate parent-child room with building blocks for children to play with. It is very thoughtful. I will choose this place again when I take my nephew to visit Humen during the summer vacation

Anonymous UserIt's good that this hotel has parking, though it's really narrow. I understand that there are ways to park tight against the wall, but this room is incredibly narrow! It's about 3.7 bricks wide, roughly 0.5m per brick. From the door to the bed is 3 bricks (1.5m), plus the bed itself is 2m, and the bathroom is another 3 bricks (1.5m). That's 2m x 5m = 10m². Even if I overcalculate, it's only 15m². Why does your booking page say 20m²? I arrived at the hotel at 11 pm and there was no one on duty. I left my room card at the front desk and had to take it to open the door myself. Even after opening the door, I couldn't change rooms or upgrade. Please clearly state what the product is like; don't mislead consumers by listing a 10m²-12m² room as 20m². I was initially hesitant because of the good reviews for a new store, but then the delivery driver couldn't find the store downstairs, and I realized it's a renovated store with a new name.
They only told me I needed to pay a 100 yuan deposit after I arrived. The curtains perfectly covered the mirror, and I could even chat with my neighbor through the wall. If it were a hostel, I could understand the service being a bit lacking, but it wasn't priced like a hostel. The sign at the door said ”Suffering a loss is a blessing,” but you can keep that blessing to yourself.
