__WeChat229368****The Songshan Lake Intercity Hotel was an amazing experience! The German Bauhaus style is simple yet grand, and the Sealy mattress paired with Australian toiletries made for a super comfortable stay. The breakfast was rich and included German sausages. It's conveniently located near scenic spots with easy transportation. The service was thoughtful and efficient, and the complimentary mini-bar and laundry service were fantastic bonuses. The value for money is exceptional! A special shout-out to JAY for providing super attentive and excellent service.

GGuest UserI checked in in a hurry on a business trip, and found that the headset fell in the room after checking out. I called with the mentality of trying, the front desk immediately helped me contact the room, and quickly found and sent it back for me. The whole process was patient and efficient, and there was no impatience. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, conveniently located, and cost-effective. With such a responsible service, this one will be the first choice for coming here in the future. It is highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe choosed this hotel to celebrate the new year with the family. This was my second visit to this hotel. We had an outstanding stay at this hotel—it exceeded expectations in every way. The property was immaculately clean and impressively equipped with modern technology, creating a seamless and comfortable experience from check-in to check-out.
A special mention goes to Ms. Luo at the front desk (前台罗小姐), whose warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. She graciously upgraded both of our rooms and regularly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtful service added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a wide range of amenities that cater to both leisure and business travelers. The breakfast area was bright and welcoming, offering a diverse selection of dishes that were especially accommodating for international guests like us.
Parking was hassle-free, with complimentary spaces available for hotel guests—a much-appreciated convenience.
All in all, this was an exceptional experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserThis is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, truly comfortable. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, feeling the gentle warm breeze on the balcony – it's the perfect start to a relaxing day. The breakfast selection isn't overwhelming, but there's a great variety, including many local specialties. My favorite was the shiny, freshly baked mini buns, topped with maple syrup, cherry and blueberry jams, and sprinkled with dried fruits, all accompanied by a cup of freshly brewed coffee. The sticky rice fried rice and coconut milk yellow rice cakes seemed to be local delights. Among the vegetables, I particularly loved the peanut sprouts and roasted mushrooms. There was also a wide selection of fresh fruits. I took advantage of the cooler morning sun to go for a walk. The hotel is right next to Songshan Lake Scenic Area, perfect for enjoying some greenery and getting a good sweat in, leaving you feeling refreshed. In the evening, I enjoyed a private hot spring bath on the balcony, listening to the sounds of insects and gazing at the stars. Mia, our butler, was incredibly responsive to every request, making for an exceptional experience.

1. Location : Though it’s called dongguan south high speed station , it’s around 20-25 mins ( 6-7 km ) far from the station. It looks an odd place
2. Room design. One of the poorest room design I came across . Room number signs are totally confusing. Inside the room , toilet, shower room placement and wash basin placement is totally impractical. Added mirror light , but it’s very very dull and not solving purposes.
3. Breakfast ; Below average ! No coffee even
4. They tried to add modern techniques to the room like automatic curtains, but failed to understand the actual purpose of the room.

This was my 5th stay at Aloft Hotel Shenzhen, and once again, it did not disappoint. The service was consistently excellent – the hoteliers were warm and welcoming as always, and I especially appreciated the friendliness and attentiveness of the manager, who made me feel right at home.
The breakfast was another highlight of my stay – delicious, fresh, and with a great variety of options to choose from each morning. It’s clear that the team puts effort into maintaining high standards both in hospitality and in culinary offerings.
Spending 7 nights here was a pleasure, and I look forward to returning again soon.

GGuest UserRight before Chinese New Year, my friends and I decided to take a short trip and chose this hotel because it's quite close to home, about an hour's drive away. It's also not far from the highway exit, which makes it convenient for self-driving. The hotel itself has a strong festive atmosphere for the New Year, and there are many facilities for kids to play with. I'd recommend it for families.

GGuest UserWe are very satisfied with the hotel when it comes to what we got for the price. It was a very cheap stay, and in general the hotel satisfied our needs and expectations.
The hotel's location is good and convenient for taking a taxi to train stations and other places in Dongguan.
Service is very good. All the staff we met had a great attitude and answered all our questions patiently.
The rooms and restaurand were a bit out-dated, and the rooms had a slight smell of smoke. But it was clean and spacious.
The pool was not usable, as the water was dirty and seemed not to have been cleaned in a long time.
