"The hotel's hygiene was excellent; despite its age, it's very well-maintained. However, the bathroom faucet was incredibly difficult to use – very stiff, and you had to twist it twice to get warm water, but then it would immediately turn scalding hot if you twisted it just a little more. The bathroom is arguably the most important part of a hotel room, so this was a really poor experience. I hope they consider replacing the bathroom fixtures.
Another point is that the hotel staff's management and service need significant improvement. Our package included breakfast and dinner. During check-in, I asked the front desk if my child, who is 1.2 meters tall, could eat for free. They even looked at my child and confirmed it was fine. Yet, during dinner, someone came to charge us. I asked why there were such inconsistent statements. They went back and forth three times, verifying and then trying to charge us again. Eventually, I asked for a superior to handle it, and indeed, my child was not charged for dinner. The funniest part was the next day at breakfast: it was just me and my child (the other adult was still sleeping). Someone immediately stopped us at the entrance, saying that if the other adult wanted to eat, we'd have to pay extra... My eyes practically rolled to the back of my head! Is such a large hotel really so worried about a 1.2-meter child drinking an extra glass of milk? With that kind of mindset, I doubt they'll last long. I didn't want to get angry so early in the morning, so I just said, 'Then we won't eat!' Honestly, I've stayed at many hotels in the same tier – Marriott, Hyatt, Le Méridien, Sheraton, etc. – and I've never encountered anything like this. It was quite an eye-opener."
