"Nice hotel close to the sea, 30 minutes walk from Herceg Novi centre. Very friendly staff and good facilities overall. A few points of note:- The hotel is on a busy road, making the balcony less appealing that it might be. There is a lovely rooftop pool with plenty of sun loungers - but no parasols available; there are two cabanas. The breakfast was fine - but if you want fruit, make sure you are in the 08:00 rush!"

"🏛️ Hotel History and Facilities I only learned from the hotel's TV that this hotel is a converted historical building (actually several hundred years old), but the interior has been completely renovated, with newer room facilities and a more upscale feel to the decor. 🚗 Check-in Experience & Service Upon arrival, I initially didn't know where to park, but the staff helped me (underground parking). Check-in was smooth, and afterwards, a staff member proactively called to confirm if I had any other needs (in English, of course; for someone with limited English skills like myself, I could understand the words and piece them together). 👉 Overall, the service was proactive, which is a plus in European hotels. 🛏️ Room and Details The room provides one bottle of water daily, which seemed insufficient. Surprisingly, housekeeping replenished the water around 5 PM, which was a pleasant surprise. They were very responsive to my daily needs, demonstrating excellent attention to detail. 🍳 Breakfast Experience (Highlight) Breakfast was a combination of semi-buffet and à la carte: Some items were pre-prepared buffet food, while there was a secret menu (you need to ask). Correct way to eat: Tell the staff you want an omelet, and they will give you a menu where you can choose side dishes such as mushrooms, scallions, and green peppers. Coffee also needs to be ordered separately from the server, which is suitable for those who are willing to communicate; otherwise, you might only get the basic buffet. 📞 Pre-departure Service The day before check-out, the hotel calls to inquire about your stay and confirm if you need breakfast packed (breakfast box). This is a big plus and very thoughtful. 🌊 Environment and Features The hotel's overall environment is very nice, with a seaside resort feel. It has a private pier (highlight). You can inquire about boat trips (such as to the Blue Cave). ⚠️ Note: The hotel usually charters the entire boat, which is relatively expensive. However, a very important reminder (based on real experience): I originally considered going out to sea, but the hotel staff reminded me that the waves were quite high that day and they didn't recommend going out. We ultimately didn't go. Later, I saw other travelers' feedback that spending €30-€40 to share a boat did indeed result in very rough seas and a poor experience. There must be a reason why the hotel didn't make that money."

"NEVER book a room in this hotel! We mixed up our hotel, i went to the toilet closed to the reception. after using the WC, the landlord attacked me. He said I had stolen something from him. I gave him my rucksack to see for himself that there was nothing there. He shook out my whole rucksack carelessly on the floor, where rare pills that I have a prescription for and can't find, spilled out. But he didn't even apologise! He chased me to my car and then banged on the roof of the car. He's completely inadequate! He spoiled the whole holidays!"

"Good location for a base to travel all around with a rental car. Road is close by but the noise is not too bad despite having a room on 1st floor on roadside (it's out of season now). Spa does not include any pools, only saunas (that are nice). There's a nice looking bar and pool on the roof but can't comment due to out of season (too cold to test :) ). The restaurant is decent, I recommed the grilled octopus, it was really nice. Gluten is not considered as such and especially on breakfast it is an issue (in case this has an effect on your trip planning). Lunch/dinner menu has a lot of option that originally do not include gluten but cross-contanimation can be a thing despite the staff being knowledgeable on the topic. This was not affecting my review as such. Really nice staff, clean everywhere, ocean (or mountain) view. The road being further away or better sound-proofing + a pool in the spa as well would have rewarded full 5 stars. Free parking as well - not many slots though, probably full during season."

"Excellent location, fantastic breakfasts, beautiful views from the window in a historic building, but huge water problems in the room—it's either boiling hot or freezing cold, and it's impossible to set the temperature properly, which I find unacceptable for a hotel of this price with pretensions to luxury. Incidentally, we had an executive room with a sea view in the historic building. The hotel is near the sea and the beach, so there's no swimsuit dryer in the room, nor is there a balcony, so it's unclear where to dry clothes. Therefore, given the price/quality ratio, I would recommend considering other options."

"The location is convenient, close to the embankment and beaches. It's about a 15-minute walk to the old town and city center, and there are many cafes and shops around.
