BLANC YATSUGATAKE ★★★★
"Honestly, a lot of these "stylish glamping" places are all about aesthetics and nothing substantial, right? But this wasn't like that at all. The moment we checked in and put our luggage down, the Southern Alps stretched out before us outside the window, and my girlfriend and I just stared at it, saying, "Wow, isn't this amazing?" for a while. We opted for a room-only stay, and it was the right decision. At night, we just sat by the campfire, gazing at the fire, drinking alcohol we bought at a convenience store, and before we knew it, two hours had passed. It made me realize how fast-paced my life had been in the city. The open-air bath was absolutely incredible. It was a natural hot spring with continuously flowing water, and you could see the entire starry sky while you were soaking. Apparently, it's one of Japan's three best stargazing spots, and I understood why. I was surprised to even see something that looked like the Milky Way. We were both in there and didn't get bored at all. The room was a trailer house, so I thought it might be small, but it wasn't at all. The silver interior on the ceiling reflected the outside light beautifully. The bed (apparently made by NELL) was incredibly comfortable. Honestly, I didn't expect to be this satisfied without a meal. Next time, I'd like to come with a meal included. My girlfriend also said she wants to come again, so we'll definitely be back."
SANU 2nd Home Yatsugatake 2nd ★★★★
"The views were great, really stunning. I bought a toothbrush and coffee beans, which made the stay even better. Even though it was summer, it was quite cold, so we made a bonfire. It gets cold on rainy days."
Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"We came for the playground and closeness to the fruit farms. They playground was terrific, or at least thats what can be interpreted when you need toddlers to do something - anything is agreeable before ‘playground’. Finishing food, brushing teeth are suddenly all ok. The style of the hotel is polished, there’s lounge with premium room bookings, three elevators with space to push in a trolley and 2 strollers(rare in Japan), matches 4.5 star international expectations. We didnt use the hotspring as we came with an infant and toddler. The breakfast was a very nice spread of one section japanese one section western, and a one hour window!"
Kiyosato Pension Izumi ★★
"This place is very comfortable, the staff are attentive, and the location is convenient, making it perfect for backpackers and short-trip travelers."
KIYOSATO KOGEN RESORT ★★★★
"It's great under the snow-capped mountains, with two beds in one bed, Japanese dinner and Western breakfast to choose from. The room has a window with a view, just like in the promotional video. It's fate to watch the starry sky. The hot spring is also very good."
SANU 2nd Home Yatsugatake 3rd ★★★★
Hotel Fuuka ★★★
"My husband and I stayed here. When we arrived, we had all-you-can-drink beer and other drinks. It was fantastic. It was perfect for my husband, who is a big drinker. We didn't get too full from the pizza, lol. We were able to relax at the bar, which was great. This is one of the inns we want to return to. The staff's service was also excellent, and it's a fond memory. Thank you very much."
COCO VILLA Yatsugatake — Sauna, BBQ & fireplace, outdoor retreat with forest bathing and patio golf ★★★★
Rakuten STAY VILLA Yatsugatake ★★★★
"Perfect size for our group of 5 adults. House is spotless and looks new. The two bedrooms are just right for 5 people. We love the house furnishings, had a very relaxing time chilling the living room which was spacious and had a giant TV screen. Would love to stay again!"

Seisen-Ryo Lodge
"Breakfast was satisfactory, but I wish they had prepared a menu suitable for elderly guests for dinner. However, the staff's service in the dining hall was very good."
BUB Resort Yatsugatake
Livemax Resort Yatsugatake Highlands
"I stayed there without meals included. I arrived at night. The surrounding area is a villa area with no streetlights and it was pitch black. There were no signs or directions, so I relied on my car's navigation system to finally get there. The building was spacious and clean, and the room was also spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The large public bath was also spacious and clean. The staff were foreigners, but they guided me politely. The only downside was that, although it was fine in my room, there was a sweet perfume or aromatherapy scent throughout the entire building, which I found unpleasant. It might be acceptable in a massage room, but I think it's better for accommodation to be odorless."
YATSUGATAKE KOGEN RESORT
"The stairs are very steep. I slipped and fell and got bruises all over my body. There are no lights on the road, so it's pitch black. I wish it was a little brighter because there are wild animals."
Sanei-so
"We stayed with an affordable hot spring plan. It is a hot spring inn where you can feel the Showa era. At night and in the morning, I soaked radium hot springs in both the bathrooms of Fukuju and Kiju, which are men and women's exchange systems. 30 While I was soaking in the source of degrees, I yawned many times, and when I inhaled the hot spring ingredients from my mouth, I felt refreshed. 30 After the source bathing, I warmed up with hot water, but my body became very comfortable. Evening and breakfast were room meals. I was able to relax at the hot spring hot spring in the mountains. The landlady and her husband were very nice."
Lodge Atelier
"Convenient location close to mountains. Good for meeting with friends for hiking."
Verga Mori No Shiyukuhakukan
Yatsugatake Coco's house
"The accommodation was well-equipped and we had a very comfortable stay. It was very clean and well-maintained. The barbecue facilities were also very convenient; it almost felt like a waste to use them with just two people. The Wi-Fi connection was unstable; it would have been better if it were more stable. We would definitely like to stay here again."
Pension Field
"The owner was kind and taught me the recommended rice shop. The room was beautiful."
Lodge Kent
"It was a very satisfying 2-day, 1-night trip with beautiful scenery, kind staff, and delicious breakfast (^.^) I'll definitely go again!!"
KandoStay Yatsugatake Fujiyama Terrace
"It was a nice inn that renovated the old private house. The road to the inn is narrow and a little narrow and tough for large vehicles. The parking lot of the inn is also covered with dust and there is a lot of dust, and the mat in the car is dirty with dust marks. I visited in a 6-seater minivan, but I couldn't park the parking lot unless I turned back several times. Other than that, the facilities in the inn, especially the stone bath, were the best. I am satisfied that I had a fun and elegant time in a clean environment. I wanted to use it again if I had the opportunity. Thank you."
Tabist Kiyosato Grandeur Yatsugatake
"The furnishings and environment were impeccable, allowing me to have a wonderful vacation. I checked out feeling very happy. Thank you so much for accommodating my late check-in. I look forward to staying with you again."
