"Our group of road-tripping friends chose the Anda Inn, and it was a great choice. The courtyard is spacious, so parking was absolutely stress-free. The rooms were meticulously cleaned; there wasn't a speck of dust on furniture edges, and the bathroom counter was spotless, free of water stains. During the day, the owner drove us around the grasslands for free, and we got significant discounts on all sorts of activities. In the evening, there was a bonfire, with all ingredients sourced locally from the pastoral areas. At night, we could lie back in our room and gaze at the starry sky. The relaxation and recovery experience far exceeded our expectations."

"We brought our kids here for a summer vacation, and our journey took us from the desert to volcanoes and grasslands. I have to say, this was the best accommodation we had. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there were plenty of activities to do in the scenic area, so the kids were never bored. There were animals right outside the door, and once the scenic area closed at night, it was like a private amusement park. The butler was also very attentive and provided excellent service. I highly recommend it!"

"All resorts are remote from Hohhot, so we took a Didi from Hohhot to the resort. It took 1:50 hours. They resort itself is really nice. The yurts are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of activities that you can do around the resort. Just talk to the service people. We did horse riding, go car, saw a Mongolian show and every evening there is a fire show at the resort. A worker drove us to the activities. The food at the restaurant was a bit pricey but high quality."

"The room was clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a fantastic trip! The owner even upgraded our room for free. The staff also proactively contacted us with directions before our arrival. It's the largest and most legitimate hotel in the area. When checking out, Xiao Jiao even gave some local specialties to my parents. I highly recommend more people to come here!"

"The hotel is located deep in the grassland, with an endless expanse of grassland right in front of you. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and each has a private bathroom, which is very convenient. The owners, a husband and wife, are very welcoming. I suggest that friends who come here bring warm clothes. Highly recommended, this place is great!"

The dinner and show were fantastic—featuring original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good. That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. Balanced Short Version (Google/TripAdvisor): Great experience thanks to one of the owners, who personally organized activities for us. The dinner and show were a highlight—original Mongolian traditional dance and singing that was unique and impressive. Food was excellent at all meals, especially the Lamb Bao at breakfast, and the staff were genuinely warm. Costs were quite high compared to what I'm used to after 10+ years in China. There's a KFC downstairs, a Mixue Ice Cream shop nearby, and plenty of restaurants and shopping malls around – super convenient! I come here every time!"

"After looking at many options, I finally chose this one. The scenic area has a wide range of activities, including horseback riding, archery, Mongolian cannons, tobogganing, go-karting, and you can even change into Mongolian robes for photos. The rooms are very clean, the beds are large, and the scenery is beautiful. It's the perfect choice for families with children. I highly recommend them when visiting the grasslands. They also offer 24-hour dairy cow butler service."
