Hotels in Dianchi Lake Scenic Area/ Sunac World, Kunming

The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and thoughtful. They even had kids' slippers and welcome fruit for my two little ones, which was so heartwarming. She also helped with our luggage, gave me a travel map for Kunming, and provided all-around excellent service. Thumbs up, indeed! The hot springs were also very comfortable, and they even provided food to feed the seagulls. The next day, my kids were asleep, so they let us check out late free of charge, and even offered a room upgrade. Staying here with elderly family and children was truly stress-free ❤️. I even added them on WeChat; I'll definitely stay here again next time! 🫰🏻 (I've never reviewed a place this thoroughly before, haha!)

I have to give a special shout-out to Nimi at the front desk! Her service was so thoughtful and attentive, always greeting me with a warm smile. She checked me in incredibly fast, making me feel so welcome the moment I arrived at the hotel – it really set the tone for an amazing stay! Nimi truly deserves a huge commendation! She was genuinely warm and sincere, patiently answering all my questions without a hint of perfunctoriness. This kind of service attitude is truly rare, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

The hotel is very nice and cosy. It looks like a small villa house. It is close to 1903 park and Dianchi lake. Metro station and bus stop are also very near. The bed is very comfortable and facilities are new. I didn’t like the smell of cigarettes, but my room was for smoking people, maybe other ones were occupied. Everything else was fine👍

This Atour hotel is by far the best I've stayed at recently in terms of service. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and even offered complimentary breakfast. When I entered my room, I found a fruit platter waiting for me. They also provided bathrobes, laundry detergent, and earplugs. The view from the window was very expansive. The only minor issue was that the room lighting was a bit too dim.

This stay far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the meticulous service. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were friendly and even thoughtfully provided recommendations for nearby attractions and dining. The room was elegantly decorated and spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The toiletries in the bathroom had a lovely scent, and the facilities were very well-maintained, without any signs of age. Breakfast offered a rich variety of options, combining both Chinese and Western styles, with fresh ingredients. The chef would even adjust dishes to guests' preferences. What surprised me most was that I accidentally left my charger behind when checking out. The hotel not only contacted me immediately but also proactively helped mail it back to me. Their efficiency and warmth were outstanding. The overall service was professional and warm, with every detail reflecting their attentiveness to guests. It absolutely deserves a five-star rating, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area.

Staying here, you'll truly understand what comfort means. The facilities are excellent and complete, with meticulous attention to detail evident from the bedding to the bathroom amenities. The ambiance is as warm and inviting as home, with the lighting and decor subtly easing away travel fatigue. The front desk staff's smiles are consistently genuine, their words conveying thoughtful care, and their attentiveness often anticipates your needs. This place doesn't feel like a temporary stop; it's more like a cherished haven you'll be reluctant to leave during your journey.

The room size is enough, and I personally feel that the size of each room type is similar. Free parking is available downstairs and breakfast is available. There are many restaurants downstairs, and it is close to the attractions.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right at the entrance of Haigang Park. Just about 100 meters from the hotel, there's a shuttle bus for the Xishan cable car. The rooms are spacious and come with a balcony. The smart toilet is a real highlight, and the hot spring water for showering is a luxurious touch. Plus, bottled water is complimentary. The breakfast offers a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. From the backyard, you can see Yunnan Nationalities Village across the lake. This season, there are flocks of seagulls in the lake; as long as you have bread, you'll always be the center of attention, without needing to go to the crowded Dianchi Lake. The staff are very welcoming and the free parking lot is quite large.

The room was clean and tidy with a fantastic view. Our butler, Kaia, proactively added me on WeChat. When I couldn't find a place nearby to buy roasted milk fans, she even helped me search on a platform – she was so enthusiastic and always available. During my stay in Kunming, I accidentally ingested alkali. I called the front desk and 120 in the middle of the night, and the front desk's response was very quick. My trip was cut short due to the alkali incident, but I'll definitely be back next time!

The design is great, the photos are great, the price/performance ratio is high, and the bathtub is awesome! Lying in the oversized bathtub, sprinkle flower petals, drip in essential oils, and unload all the fatigue in the hot steam. Outside the window is the city night view or the mountain scenery, and the atmosphere is directly maximized~ The bright and transparent design of the whole house, with soft bedding and thoughtful smart home, you can feel the care of the owner from the details. Staying here for a night is like pressing the pause button on life. It is comfortable and healing. It is simply a treasure choice for vacation!
