"Excellent pub food. Ate here twice in one week. Had the beef baguettes on first occasion & fish/scampi & chips on second. Would return. Would suggest some new smarter menus, but overall, great! Tables bookable both lunch times and evenings."

"Fantastic location that is easily accessible. The parking on site is readily available and you can find a space easily. We stayed in a Junior suite but the decor was amazing. The atmosphere of the hotel is luxurious and relaxing depending on whether you’re at the restaurant, pub or sitting by the waterfall having a coffee in the morning. It was very clean and Jake provides an excellent level of personal service and this extends to all of the team at the hotel. We will be going back in future. It’s an absolute must given the location being situated just over the waterfall. This is a gem you can’t miss out on booking."

"This was a fantastic find, such a friendly welcome, lovely old traditional pub with very comfortable rooms. Eating here is an absolute must, it’s a small but perfect menu which changes weekly and also a daily specials board which was all beautifully prepared and presented. The chef/landlord is very knowledgeable about his food and his traditional hand pulled ales, he is also on hand in the morning preparing lovely breakfast, homemade pastries and the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. We will definitely be back."
