Hotels in Tennoji, Osaka

Had a fantastic stay! While the hotel is a bit of a walk from Tennoji Station, about 10 minutes, there's a slight uphill section that can be a bit challenging with luggage. However, the hotel itself is excellent. The room was much larger than a hotel I stayed at in Tokyo for 800 yen a night, with a comfortable bed and a desk. The bathroom was even slightly bigger than a standard one, and besides the shower, the hotel also has its own public bath, and provides yukata (Japanese robes), which was a lovely touch. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The hotel's in-house travel magazine was also a great read, offering a very enjoyable regional breakdown of recommended dining, entertainment, and attractions in Osaka and Kyoto. Highly recommend!

I booked a newly renovated room on the executive floor at the Sheraton this time, and it was excellent. The air conditioning finally works independently, allowing for individual control and adjustment. The air felt much fresher, unlike before when the AC always seemed insufficient. The location is superb; you can take the airport bus directly to the Uehommachi Kintetsu Bus Terminal, and on your way out, you can also easily get a direct bus to the airport. While the subway isn't on a main line, it's still quite convenient. Nearby is a somewhat old-fashioned Kintetsu Plaza, where you can find pretty much everything for shopping and dining. It's also quite close to Shinsaibashi and Namba.

This accommodation was really great! It was super clean and cozy, and I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days without any major inconveniences. JR Teradacho Station is a 3-minute walk away, there's a big 7-Eleven right across the street, and Lawson and FamilyMart are also nearby, which was convenient. I was a bit worried about how to contact someone if there were issues since it's self-check-in, but everything was so good that I didn't need to ask for anything, which is why I'm writing this review! There were times when motorbike noises were a bit loud at night, but it was relatively quiet. Plus, there's a local tonkatsu restaurant right next to the accommodation, which was the best. If I come to Osaka again, I will definitely revisit!^^

I booked this newly opened hotel because of its convenient location. To be honest, after booking, I was quite anxious about the price since there were no reviews, and I was worried it wouldn't be comfortable. However, it far exceeded my expectations upon check-in – I'd even say it was better than the 1000+ per night hotel I stayed at a few days prior. The room was spacious, and the facilities were new. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into it; while the chosen amenities aren't luxurious, they are all high quality. In particular, the shower room was huge, the water pressure was great, and the toilet was separate, which was very comfortable. I genuinely highly recommend this guesthouse. I hope the owner maintains this standard; I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osaka.

I had a great experience staying at this hostel. The facilities were excellent, including a convenient shared kitchen, clean rooms, and a quiet, peaceful environment. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay. The highlight of my visit was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who made the experience even more enjoyable.

This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Osaka, and it changed its name this year. The room facilities are still good. However, they used to offer dining vouchers for the hotel's restaurants, which they've canceled this year. They said this benefit is only for bookings made directly on their official website, not through Ctrip. The toiletries are still from Pola, nothing has changed there. Toothbrushes and combs are provided in the room, but other amenities need to be picked up from the lobby on the first floor. Daily room cleaning is very basic – just towel changes and trash removal; they don't do anything else, not even make the bed.

The deluxe room type is quite spacious for Japan, with excellent soundproofing and complete facilities. The hotel staff's service attitude is outstanding. The breakfast was good, but the door on the side of the restaurant facing the road was drafty, making the environment a bit cold. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not as noisy as the Namba or Shinsaibashi areas. Nearby, you'll find Kintetsu Department Store, Aeon's lifestyle supermarket, and Don Quijote. Across from the hotel, there are popular dining options like Yoshinoya and a noodle shop, and right next door is the delicious Notokanasawa Yakiniku. In terms of transportation, the airport limousine bus goes directly to Kintetsu Department Store Uehonmachi Station, which is a very short walk to the hotel. There are also multiple subway lines for convenient travel.

I stayed there for 12 days, the staff was super friendly, the rooms were cleaned squeaky clean. The hotel was located conveniently for traveling both JR and subway. The room was normal size for this price but felt more spacious than it looked like. I was able to store a lot of staff under my bed. The breakfast was traditional, very filling and was rotating every day! Staff helped me to use laundry machines and send my luggage to the airport. Thank you for a magnificent stay!

Nice spacious hotel converted from an apartment building. Feels more like a basic serviced apartment than a hotel. The location was conveniently between two stations so a short walk would get you anywhere you need to go. Staff were helpful in receiving packages and helping out. Great spot if you’re like me and prefer to live in a more local neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of Shinsaibashi and Shinsekai.

A very friendly little hotel for those who would like to enjoy a quieter Osaka experience. Our room was very nice, the neighborhood is worth exploring, and the hotel is located close to many lively areas for nightlife and dining. One small negative point is the hotel staff, who have very little understanding of English, making it difficult to communicate.
