Hotels in Tennoji, Osaka

Had a fantastic stay! While the hotel is a bit of a walk from Tennoji Station, about 10 minutes, there's a slight uphill section that can be a bit challenging with luggage. However, the hotel itself is excellent. The room was much larger than a hotel I stayed at in Tokyo for 800 yen a night, with a comfortable bed and a desk. The bathroom was even slightly bigger than a standard one, and besides the shower, the hotel also has its own public bath, and provides yukata (Japanese robes), which was a lovely touch. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The hotel's in-house travel magazine was also a great read, offering a very enjoyable regional breakdown of recommended dining, entertainment, and attractions in Osaka and Kyoto. Highly recommend!

This is my second stay here, mainly because the location is super convenient for transportation and shopping. It's right by Kintetsu Department Store, which is downstairs, and there are all sorts of delicious food options. Getting anywhere from here is a breeze. This time, I booked a room advertised as 24 square meters, but the actual experience was quite poor. It had an outdoor balcony, but the room itself was enclosed, so the balcony basically ate into the usable space, making the room feel very cramped. Plus, it wasn't cleaned properly; there was dust on the nightstand, which is really unacceptable for a five-star hotel. After discussing it with the front desk, they upgraded me to a 31-square-meter room. Their service attitude was still good. My advice for future bookings is to pay close attention to the room type. Also, they really need to improve their housekeeping.

This accommodation was really great! It was super clean and cozy, and I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days without any major inconveniences. JR Teradacho Station is a 3-minute walk away, there's a big 7-Eleven right across the street, and Lawson and FamilyMart are also nearby, which was convenient. I was a bit worried about how to contact someone if there were issues since it's self-check-in, but everything was so good that I didn't need to ask for anything, which is why I'm writing this review! There were times when motorbike noises were a bit loud at night, but it was relatively quiet. Plus, there's a local tonkatsu restaurant right next to the accommodation, which was the best. If I come to Osaka again, I will definitely revisit!^^

The location is great, easy to find. Lots of shopping and eateries in Tennoji. It is also directly accessible by JR Haruka if you are coming from KIX. The tatami room we booked was spacious and comfortable. Lots of space to lay out and hang our things. Check-in was straightforward, front desk was polite and helpful. There was smell of cigarettes near the lift, but we were happy that the room and corridor did not.

This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Osaka, and it changed its name this year. The room facilities are still good. However, they used to offer dining vouchers for the hotel's restaurants, which they've canceled this year. They said this benefit is only for bookings made directly on their official website, not through Ctrip. The toiletries are still from Pola, nothing has changed there. Toothbrushes and combs are provided in the room, but other amenities need to be picked up from the lobby on the first floor. Daily room cleaning is very basic – just towel changes and trash removal; they don't do anything else, not even make the bed.

The deluxe room type is quite spacious for Japan, with excellent soundproofing and complete facilities. The hotel staff's service attitude is outstanding. The breakfast was good, but the door on the side of the restaurant facing the road was drafty, making the environment a bit cold. The hotel's location is excellent; it's not as noisy as the Namba or Shinsaibashi areas. Nearby, you'll find Kintetsu Department Store, Aeon's lifestyle supermarket, and Don Quijote. Across from the hotel, there are popular dining options like Yoshinoya and a noodle shop, and right next door is the delicious Notokanasawa Yakiniku. In terms of transportation, the airport limousine bus goes directly to Kintetsu Department Store Uehonmachi Station, which is a very short walk to the hotel. There are also multiple subway lines for convenient travel.

Next to the subway station, quiet environment, and a convenience store next to Matsuya It is very convenient to take the subway to the city center. I will choose this place again next time I have the chance. The staff are very friendly.

Unexpectedly spacious, which is a rare gem for a place in such a central Osaka location. It's about a five-minute walk to the subway station, and very close to Namba, Tennoji, and Nihonbashi – just one or two subway stops away. Umeda is also only five stops. The location is incredibly convenient. There are four convenience stores nearby and plenty of vending machines on the ground floor. It was pretty quiet; not much street noise or traffic from downstairs. The complimentary toiletries kit was also very complete; it had everything I needed. There were only two minor drawbacks, really. Firstly, as it's an apartment-style hotel, regular cleaning is scheduled – once a week on Fridays, as far as I remember during my stay. Any additional cleaning on other days incurs an extra fee, though I don't recall the price. Also, you need to provide your own drinking water. Secondly, they don't offer free luggage storage. The daytime rate was apparently 3000 JPY, with a different price for evening storage. Overall, I was quite satisfied and plan to book again on my next trip, mainly because of how truly spacious it is.

From the photos provided by the hotel, I thought the room would be small, but after checking in, I found that it was big enough to open four suitcases at the same time, and the bathroom was also spacious with a large bathtub. The lobby has a nice smell, which makes people feel relaxed. The staff is also very friendly and polite. The hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. There is already a parking lot next to it, and the price of overnight parking is very cost-effective.

The Humidifier was a gamechanger. The Staff was very helpful and the room had everything we needed.
