The hotel is located in Nakanoshima, and it's a bit of a walk from Higobashi subway station. When I arrived, I walked through an underground passage after exiting the subway, and then emerged from the basement of a building to find myself already in Nakanoshima. It was another short walk from there to the hotel.
The front desk staff were very friendly. Their English wasn't perfect, but simple communication was manageable.
The room was a bit small, but the window faced directly onto the Tosabori River, and there was no noise, which was great.
The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the restaurant staff were very nice.
The hotel is on an island and is very close to Watanabebashi Station on the Keihan Nakanoshima Line, making it incredibly convenient to get to Kyoto by Keihan train.
When I left, I walked along the riverside directly to Higobashi subway station, which took about 10 minutes. The view was much more open than in the underground passage, and it didn't feel too far at all.
The room itself is decent, though it might feel a bit cramped for two people. The location is quite good, right by what I'd call Osaka's 'Suzhou Creek.' There are many art museums nearby. However, if you're a woman walking alone at night, it can feel a bit deserted. If you plan on staying out late, a more central location might be better. I told the front desk I'm a light sleeper, but they still put me right across from the cleaning room, which was really annoying. I was woken up early in the morning by the noise. I've attached the shuttle schedule. I actually found it more convenient to take the bus to the art museum.
The staff were all very polite. However, the cleanliness was only average, with some areas in the bathroom, particularly the corners, not being properly cleaned. The breakfast buffet selection was a bit limited, though it was acceptable for a one-night business trip. The location was a bit inconvenient for transportation. Additionally, the convenience store on the ground floor closed after 10 PM, requiring a 10-minute walk to the nearest 7-Eleven.
Blown away by the bakery downstairs! Not only do they have freshly baked bread, but also delicious and affordable food from the hotel restaurant. I loved how plentiful the hotel shuttle bus and taxis were! 😍
On our first night, we got an upgraded room. While it was bigger, the toilet and shower were combined. Since we were traveling with an elder, I was concerned about the safety of climbing in and out of the bathtub. After speaking with the front desk, they changed us back to our original room type. The next day, the hotel staff even brought our luggage directly to the new room and helped set up the extra bed – I was so grateful! ❤️
The hotel is located in Nakanoshima, which is perfect for a city walk. I'll definitely stay here again next time!!
The lobby is luxurious and grand, while the rooms are decent. Room service is excellent and responsive to all requests, including turn-down service and proactively replenishing bottled water. Breakfast doesn't offer a huge variety, but all the ingredients are fresh and delicious.

Great location, superb hotel. Highlight being the rooftop onsen with a beautiful view of the city. Unfortunately I had an overcast day but I can imagine the beauty of dusk on a clear day. Stylish and clean rooms with superb bathrooms and bed. The restaurant buffet was also great. Great selection of food and drinks

Thank you for hospitality. My trip went super smoothly. I felt welcome from the start. As I stayed at this hotel chain previously at Tokyo, this is of the same standard. Rest assure. We used the hotel rooftop onsen and enjoyed the variety of facility they have offered (high standard of hygiene). My room was clean and spacious. Hotel breakfast is enoyable Japanese style.
Thank you so much again!
