Hotels in Bang Tao Beach, Phuket

The surroundings are convenient, the hotel is clean and tidy, and the service is great. They also offer a free shuttle. It's so much better than Patong – not as crowded or noisy. It's a five-minute drive to Bang Tao Beach, or about a half-hour walk. This was my favorite hotel of the trip, and it offers excellent value for money.

Let me put it this way: I was curious about Laguna and wanted to explore it, but staying within the resort complex was incredibly inconvenient. The free boat service had no schedule, so we had no idea how to get around. The hotel is so massive that it's easy to get lost, and there are no clear signs to guide you. Also, I'm not sure why, but when I booked, it clearly stated three breakfasts were included, and it turned out to be no breakfast at all. I highly doubt I misread it. The check-in welcome ceremony was excellent though; the young man who assisted me left a fantastic impression! However, the hotel facilities are dated, and the drainage in the bathroom was poor. What I really want to emphasize is that I hope the hotel doesn't just focus on clearing fallen leaves and debris within its own grounds. Please do more to clean the beaches, especially beyond your immediate area, and organize regular beach clean-up activities. You could even involve guests as volunteers. I went out to clean the beach myself this morning. I truly hope the hotel will extend its efforts to protect and regularly clean other beaches, not just its own. During the rainy season, a lot of trash washes ashore, which is a real eyesore and quite upsetting. The natural environment here is undeniably beautiful, but staying here makes it feel very inconvenient to go anywhere. Perhaps it's because we just came from a top-tier hotel in Phuket, The Surin, so there was a slight drop in expectations. Overall, it's still good, and I hope it continues to improve.

The hotel is located near Boat Avenue, with a 7-Eleven right on the corner, making its location excellent. It's divided into three buildings (A, B, and C). Our room was upgraded upon check-in, and the apartment was spacious, allowing us to cook our own meals. Breakfast is a set menu, not a buffet. Watching the sunrise in the morning was beautiful. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at Hotel COCO was absolutely fabulous. The room was huge, clean, and overlooked the pool. It had a nice patio with a outdoor sofa and a table for us to relax and unwind. The only drawback was their restaurant - which was only open until 2pm. We were quite famished around 5pm and had to order in. Plus, we realised we'd run out of water in the room around 12am - so I went to the front desk to ask for more water, and they couldn't help because they'd locked their vending machine. They should at least have plenty of water available for customers (even if it's for purchase).

This is a great hotel! We were greeted with a welcome drink at reception, our luggage was brought to our room, and we were checked in right away at 12:00 PM. The staff member explained everything, and there's an instruction booklet in Russian right at the front desk. They told us about the hotel's app, which is very clear and easy to use; you can order cleaning, extra amenities for your room, and more through it. We stayed for 3 days, so the breakfast menu was different each day, and on our checkout day, we requested a lunch box. The rooms are spacious with balconies. Housekeeping was done daily. I definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay. There's also a bus to the beach every half hour.

The room is quite spacious, and the fact that it's divided into two zones was convenient, especially with a child. It's about a 15-minute drive to Nai Harn Beach (with the famous stairs). There's plenty of parking available. The renovation is a bit dated, of course, but it's not a major issue. Just be aware that beach towels come with a fee, and there's no one at the reception in the evenings. Next to the hotel, there's a wonderful auntie who cooks authentic Thai food for locals – you absolutely must have lunch there. It's delicious and very cheap.

This is an apartment-style suite. The staff are very kind and friendly. You need to ask for toothbrushes as there are no disposable slippers, but there are flip-flops available. The room is clean and the environment is pleasant for a stroll around the area, which seems well-maintained. There are three swimming pools. It's in a high-end residential area, so there isn't much commercial activity; the nearest convenience store is about a ten-minute walk away. There are shuttle tuk-tuks to nearby places, some free and some paid. Eating breakfast overlooking the water is very relaxing.

Just be aware, there's construction nearby. There's absolutely no soundproofing in the room; you can hear everything. The bedding wasn't changed once in 10 days. The location is good, with many cafes nearby. On Fridays, there's a night market with delicious food. The hotel breakfasts themselves are good, but I wish there was more variety, especially with the fruit. There were only two types each time, and they were almost always the same and the cheapest options…

A small, cozy hotel in a residential area. It's located a bit further from the sea, but there's a free shuttle to the nearest beaches (Bagn Tao and Surin) and shopping areas (Porto de Phuket, Boat Avenue, Lotus, markets), and even massages. Pickup is by WhatsApp message. Shuttle service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can also rent bikes here. The nearest 7/11 is an 8-minute walk away. The rooms are very clean, cleaned daily, and towels are changed. The latex pillows are very comfortable. Everything you need is included in the room. Beach towels are available by the pool. There's no deposit required. The staff is friendly and helpful (they spoke English), and they'll always give you advice on what and where. You can order breakfast. Coffee is made at reception. The pool is small. There's currently construction next to the hotel (noisy from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). But in the evenings and mornings, it was nice to sit on the balcony overlooking the mountains. The mosque is nearby, and we can hear the services, but it didn't bother us. Overall, it's a very pleasant hotel. We would return, despite the distance and the construction.

The hotel is wonderful. Best Western is Best Western. It's not just beachfront, it's *the* beachfront. From any room, it's a mere two-minute walk to the sea. In the mornings, I'd even go without a towel, have a swim, and head straight back to my room. As expected, there's a massage and a restaurant on the beach (didn't try it), plenty of sun loungers, and beach towels are provided separately. The grounds are spacious, not cramped, and lush green with three pools I counted. Location-wise, there's a 7/11 just 15 meters from the entrance, and on the same street, there are three restaurants, each better than the last. I particularly enjoyed The Irish Coffee; despite the name, it has a Russian menu, and of course, a Thai one. At reception, there's a Russian-speaking administrator named Daniel. It was an absolutely carefree and fantastic holiday. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
