Overall, I'm satisfied. I stay here every time I'm back in Shanghai, it's become a habit, and the location is very convenient. However, the hotel's facilities are in need of an update. The overall room temperature couldn't be adjusted down; even though the air from the vent was cool, its effective range was very small, so I'd wake up hot at night. The lobby and elevator temperatures were much more comfortable than the room. Also, as shown in the picture, the bathtub stopper was rusty, and the sink stopper didn't drain properly; even normal handwashing would cause water to pool. To make it easier, I'd always remove the stopper completely when using the sink. The worst part was the shower drain, which had a very pungent and unpleasant smell every day. Some of these are room-specific issues, like the high AC temperature and poor sink drainage, which I hadn't experienced so severely in previous years, including in other rooms I stayed in this July. However, the room I stayed in this week was significantly worse. But the pungent smell from the shower drain is a common problem in all rooms!

I originally planned to stay for two days and then move to another place, but after looking around, Jianguo Hotel was still the best. It's close to the subway station, and Meilong Town with its restaurants and shops is also nearby. Plus, it's right opposite the Xujiahui Library. I didn't change hotels for my entire 5-day stay in Shanghai! I'll definitely choose Jianguo Hotel again when I go back.

As a frequent business traveler, this was my first time in Shanghai, and I only started planning my trip after arriving at Shanghai South Railway Station. Staying near People's Park Station is the best location for sightseeing. This hotel, located at that subway station, offers the best value for money. **Restaurant:** The hotel's strength might be its restaurant (not necessarily the taste, but the overall service atmosphere). I had breakfast there, and everyone was quite professional, giving it a Hong Kong-style restaurant vibe. **Facilities:** It's a century-old hotel, and the facilities are still quite good. It used to be a restaurant, so they're quite adept at hospitality management. The shower brand chosen for the facilities is excellent and very comfortable. The hotel's water quality must be good too, as I didn't experience any discomfort when brushing my teeth. The paper products on the vanity were good, and the slippers felt like those in a five-star hotel. However, adding a logo would definitely enhance the brand image. **Hygiene:** The bedsheet in my single room had some dirt on it, which suggests it hadn't been changed. **Ambiance:** Good. The hotel has a sense of history. **Service:** Perhaps because Shanghai is an international metropolis, the service awareness is a bit lacking. I checked in at 1 PM, and the hotel entrance requires guests to carry their luggage up stairs to get inside. The greeter didn't help with my luggage or open the door. The front desk staff seemed to be in a bad mood. Although they assigned me a long, narrow room, I'm still grateful to the ill-tempered staff member for giving me a room on the 17th floor, which is the top floor. When I returned to the hotel around 11:30 PM, I saw a card indicating that feather pillows were available, and I wanted to try one. The operator first told me that there were standard pillows in the room. Only after I mentioned seeing the option for feather pillows did she say it could be arranged. To my surprise, they brought me a buckwheat pillow. I was quite speechless, but thanks anyway. Also, the pillow inserts in your rooms have stains on them. The gentleman who checked me out helped me carry my luggage to the door, so thanks to him. Also, there was writing from a previous guest in the small notebook by the bed. Personally, I found it a bit unsettling. I suggest checking these notebooks during cleaning. I also filled out a feedback card; I wonder if you'll receive it. **Guests staying at the hotel can purchase butterfly pastry gift boxes without queuing:** These butterfly pastries can only be reserved by scanning the QR code in the room and are only available in gift boxes. You can buy them in bags directly downstairs.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Huaihai Road. The high floor offers expansive views, but unfortunately, my room this time faced south, so I couldn't see the 'Three-piece Suite' (referring to the iconic Lujiazui skyscrapers). The Executive Lounge on the 40th floor is a bit small but has large floor-to-ceiling windows with a great panoramic view. The afternoon food selection was a bit simple; I wonder what the evening spread is like. The room facilities are complete but show their age. To charge my phone at night, I had to unplug the bedside lamp. A particular annoyance was the sink faucet – it was difficult to operate with soapy hands, forcing the water to run continuously. Thanks to Ms. Ye at the business center. I urgently needed to print and sign a document, but there were compatibility issues between Word and WPS. She patiently helped me adjust the formatting and even waived the fee. Finally, a minor complaint about the traffic outside the hotel. I'm not sure if it was due to the WAIC conference, but Changle Road right outside was incredibly congested. A taxi, which was only 300-400 meters away, took more than ten minutes to reach us.

This truly lives up to its reputation as a luxurious, 'old money' style hotel. The privacy is exceptional; once the door closes, you're completely cut off from the outside world. This is hands down the best soundproofed hotel I've ever stayed in.

We arrived at the hotel quite early and our booked room type wasn't ready yet. To help us check in sooner, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room. The room itself was very spacious, and the staff's service was also commendable. The only downside was a bit of noise from the room facing the main road, but that's a minor issue. Overall, our stay was still quite good, and I'd recommend it!

The location is superb, and the room environment is very quiet, odorless, clean, and well-equipped. It's a perfect size for two people. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Both housekeeping and security services are excellent, and parking is very convenient. It was a very pleasant stay, and I will definitely come back again.

The Garden Inn is truly fantastic! Every stay is consistently clean and hygienic, with spacious and bright rooms! The green plants on the windowsill are vibrant and full of life! The bed is just the right firmness, allowing for a comfortable sleep until you naturally wake up. The hotel's front desk staff provide quiet, gentle, and smiling service throughout, which is very pleasant. Even the hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of options, combining both Western and Chinese dishes. The hotel's surrounding area is incredibly convenient for public transport, with easy access to the subway. Definitely worth recommending to more people!

I've been to most of the hotels and attractions in Shanghai, but I've never stayed at Dishui Lake. Even though it's a bit far from the lake, I figured with the heat, I wouldn't want to walk around much anyway. After looking around, I decided the Jinjiang Apartment had great facilities and good value, so I booked it. And I'm so glad I did! The room was spacious, well-equipped, and the service was excellent. I asked for a room with a good view, and when I pulled back the curtains, there was Mobius Park – the scenery was absolutely stunning from my bed. The service was also top-notch; the front desk lady had a beautiful smile, breakfast had a wide variety, and room service was prompt. Once I was in the room, I didn't want to leave. The little robot kept bringing food, which was a really thoughtful touch. My child absolutely loved it here and wants to come back again!

Stayed at this hotel for a short getaway around May 1st and was very satisfied! The environment is lovely, and there's a big lake park right next door, which is quiet, picturesque, and has incredibly fresh air. The room was spacious, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and was really refreshing. While the facilities are a bit dated, and there aren't many power outlets, making charging a bit inconvenient, it was thoughtful that we could have breakfast outdoors with our pet. The breakfast selection was also quite rich, and the rice noodles were especially delicious! 😋
