Top-notch a century ago, and still shining bright today. The location is absolutely superb, truly the irreplaceable heart of Shanghai. From the window, you can see Lujiazui's 'three-piece suit' on the left, and on the right, the Shanghai History Museum, the Great World, Shanghai Grand Theatre, and Grand Cinema, all iconic symbols of Shanghai's modern history. The view and location are simply unparalleled. Inside, it’s full of nostalgic charm, yet far from being run-down. The breakfast quality is first-rate, and the cleanliness and service are impeccable. Zhang Hongqing, the server on the fifth floor, has professionalism that’s beyond words. The takeaway bags we left outside our door were cleared within 10 minutes. The butterfly crispy rolls we ordered were delivered to our door very quickly, and she patiently explained how to use them. In the morning, as we stood by the elevator, unsure which floor the breakfast restaurant was on, she appeared at just the right moment and guided us to the second floor. This kind of subtle yet professional service is truly flawless. Hotel guests can also skip the line to pick up butterfly crispy rolls, which was a delightful surprise. If you're coming to Shanghai, this is a must-stay to truly experience the city.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Huaihai Road. The high floor offers expansive views, but unfortunately, my room this time faced south, so I couldn't see the 'Three-piece Suite' (referring to the iconic Lujiazui skyscrapers). The Executive Lounge on the 40th floor is a bit small but has large floor-to-ceiling windows with a great panoramic view. The afternoon food selection was a bit simple; I wonder what the evening spread is like.

The room facilities are complete but show their age. To charge my phone at night, I had to unplug the bedside lamp. A particular annoyance was the sink faucet – it was difficult to operate with soapy hands, forcing the water to run continuously.

Thanks to Ms. Ye at the business center. I urgently needed to print and sign a document, but there were compatibility issues between Word and WPS. She patiently helped me adjust the formatting and even waived the fee.

Finally, a minor complaint about the traffic outside the hotel. I'm not sure if it was due to the WAIC conference, but Changle Road right outside was incredibly congested. A taxi, which was only 300-400 meters away, took more than ten minutes to reach us.

Overall, my stay was quite average. The location is fairly convenient, making it easy to catch a taxi. The room had all the basic amenities, but the cleanliness could use some improvement; there was a bit of dust on the desk, and the bathroom drain was slow. The bedding was comfortable enough, but the soundproofing wasn't great – I could hear people walking in the hallway at night. The front desk staff were polite, but their efficiency in handling issues was just average. The value for money is moderate, and I hope they can improve their housekeeping and sound insulation in the future.

The room was nice; although small, the overall layout didn't feel cramped, and the view from the window was great. It had many convenient tools not typically found in budget hotels, which was a thoughtful touch. Laundry is paid for, priced according to clothing type. The emergency phone in the bathroom was a very considerate detail, and the toiletries were complete. The shower is in the bathtub; I'd recommend placing a non-slip mat, but don't put the bath mat next to the tub beforehand, as shower water will run down the curtain and soak it. Breakfast was good, with both Western and Chinese options, a good variety, and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station and Tianzifang. The hotel environment itself is just average though; the room facilities are quite old-fashioned. It's clean and spacious, but the lighting is a bit dim.

Also, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so there's banging and noise starting at 7 AM. Plus, food delivery isn't allowed upstairs; you have to go down to the delivery locker to pick it up yourself.

Overall, it's not too bad, an OK stay!

I've been to most of the hotels and attractions in Shanghai, but I've never stayed at Dishui Lake. Even though it's a bit far from the lake, I figured with the heat, I wouldn't want to walk around much anyway. After looking around, I decided the Jinjiang Apartment had great facilities and good value, so I booked it. And I'm so glad I did! The room was spacious, well-equipped, and the service was excellent. I asked for a room with a good view, and when I pulled back the curtains, there was Mobius Park – the scenery was absolutely stunning from my bed. The service was also top-notch; the front desk lady had a beautiful smile, breakfast had a wide variety, and room service was prompt. Once I was in the room, I didn't want to leave. The little robot kept bringing food, which was a really thoughtful touch. My child absolutely loved it here and wants to come back again!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's incredibly convenient, just two subway transfers from Hongqiao Railway Station, right outside the exit. The area has all sorts of amenities. The hotel service was great; it was raining in Shanghai during my stay, and there were staff at the entrance putting covers on umbrellas. An attendant guided guests in the elevator. The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was smooth. Overall, I had a very good experience! Thumbs up!

Just a small suggestion: the Wi-Fi signal in the room seemed a bit weak. It took several tries to connect. I hope this can be improved upon for an even better stay!

Stayed at this hotel for a short getaway around May 1st and was very satisfied! The environment is lovely, and there's a big lake park right next door, which is quiet, picturesque, and has incredibly fresh air. The room was spacious, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and was really refreshing. While the facilities are a bit dated, and there aren't many power outlets, making charging a bit inconvenient, it was thoughtful that we could have breakfast outdoors with our pet. The breakfast selection was also quite rich, and the rice noodles were especially delicious! 😋

The Garden Inn is truly fantastic! Every stay is consistently clean and hygienic, with spacious and bright rooms! The green plants on the windowsill are vibrant and full of life! The bed is just the right firmness, allowing for a comfortable sleep until you naturally wake up.

The hotel's front desk staff provide quiet, gentle, and smiling service throughout, which is very pleasant.

Even the hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of options, combining both Western and Chinese dishes.

The hotel's surrounding area is incredibly convenient for public transport, with easy access to the subway.

Definitely worth recommending to more people!

My stay at the Shanghai Longbai Hotel exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The front desk staff were incredibly responsive and efficient, and they even proactively upgraded our room, which was a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. The hotel pays great attention to detail – the front desk offers free hot water and complimentary glasses cleaning, which is incredibly convenient for travelers.

Despite being over forty years old, the hotel's rooms are clean and tidy, and the infrastructure is very well-maintained; you'd never guess its age. Our room had a small balcony, and opening the window revealed a lush, tree-lined garden view. The air was fresh, offering a peaceful retreat from the city hustle, and the view was absolutely stunning.

The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant, providing excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai!

My stay was excellent, as always. During check-in, I was a bit rushed because I had an online meeting to attend. The front desk agent, Jia Chenhui, handled it exceptionally well. He remained professional, patient, and efficient throughout, which left a deep impression on me. This kind of attention to detail truly reflects the high level of management and service at Liaoning Hotel. Next time I'm in town for a business trip to Tsinghua University, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

Came to Beijing with the kids for spring break, and didn't arrive at the hotel until after 10 PM. The front desk upgraded us from a standard room to a suite, which was a very pleasant surprise! The hotel is located within the Second Ring Road, and it's within walking distance to the subway, so the location is great. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's generally well-maintained. The only minor downsides were that the shower drain was a bit slow, and it was quite warm in the room at night in late April, but the air conditioning wasn't cooling.

The environment here is really great, and the service is excellent too! They even brought us a fruit plate. It's definitely good value for money. The best part is its location right at the subway entrance, making it super convenient to get everywhere without long walks. Subway Line 8 covers most of Beijing's main attractions. I've stayed in a few B&Bs and a Super 8 before, but none were as comfortable as this. The experience was fantastic!

Very helpful and the staffs are polite and considerate.

The room is clean with necessities.  A park/garden is in nearby area where you can have a walk and exercise.

The hotel facilities are new, the hygiene is good, and the environment is beautiful. It's close to tourist attractions and convenient for getting around with the subway nearby. Special thanks to Xiao Chai and Xiao Wang for their warm reception, and to Xiao Ren for proactively helping with our luggage. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is the same Kempinski as before, and the facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms and showers are also quite roomy. The gym is especially great. The service from both the front desk and the concierge is excellent. We were accompanied by foreign guests, and the reception at the front desk was very smooth. The river view room is beautiful; the view of the illuminated Ba River at night is very pleasant. It's a bit far from the city center, but very close to the convention center. Highly recommended for meetings or business trips.
