The Park Hotel boasts an unbeatable location with direct access to People's Square metro station, making it incredibly convenient to walk to Nanjing Road and the Bund. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room facilities, however, are noticeably dated. The air conditioning vent in my room was quite noisy, which might bother light sleepers. That said, the bedding was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure – a hot shower definitely helped wash away the day's fatigue. At check-in, the front desk staff proactively informed me that I could use my room key to bypass the queue for boxed butterfly pastries, though bulk purchases still required waiting in line. The air conditioning was very powerful, so I had to remember to turn it off before bed. Overall, staying here offers a taste of old Shanghai charm and incredible convenience. It's a good value for money, especially for tourists who spend their days exploring and just need a comfortable place to sleep. If you're looking for modern luxury or are very sensitive to noise, you might want to reconsider. But if you appreciate historic buildings and don't mind minor imperfections, this place is definitely worth experiencing.

We stayed in the Villa Executive Double Room and had a fantastic experience. The room was located on a high floor, and the views from the bedroom were absolutely amazing. For us, the view was what really made the stay so special.

The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with an exceptionally comfortable bed.

We also really enjoyed the Executive Lounge access included with the room. The staff there were attentive, professional, and provided excellent service throughout our stay.

Breakfast offered a great selection of food, with plenty of options to choose from. The only downside was that it could get quite busy during peak times.

We loved the swimming pool facilities, especially the hot pool and sauna. In fact, we wish we had spent more time there during our stay because it was so relaxing and enjoyable.

The hotel's location is excellent. Situated in the French Concession area near Huaihai Road, it is close to the metro and within walking distance of many of Shanghai's main attractions.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, and we even loved its signature scent. The Art Deco-style lobby is particularly impressive. Overall, the hotel felt very professional and welcoming, and we had a wonderful experience. We would happily stay here again.

Traveling with my mom, we've been to Shanghai many times. We used to stay in the South Building, but this time we were in the North Building. The room here is bigger than the South Building, but the decor isn't as new. This visit, I saw the 'Phantom of the Opera' theme, which was very artistic and unique. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, with many popular internet-famous restaurants nearby. The swimming pool is also excellent, making it perfect for a staycation.

The pool was great, and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly and smiled. The Huilian Building near the hotel has a lot of old Shanghai items, and there are many convenient restaurants nearby. As someone in the hotel industry myself, I'd like to point out a few things for potential improvement.

First, there was a male front desk staff member who was completely humorless and didn't offer a single greeting. He simply gave blunt 'no' or 'cannot' answers to my questions. Mid-stay, I was told that the leaky sprinkler in my room had been fixed by housekeeping, but the front desk hadn't received the information and said it might not be repaired yet.

Later, I encountered a gentleman in a suit in the lobby and asked him about special local restaurants. He replied, ”That's hard to say,” and just stood there until I said, ”Okay, thanks.” For a star-rated hotel, even if they haven't personally tried all the food, they should at least be able to suggest some local specialties and general directions. Especially since Metro City, a food hub, is right nearby.

The breakfast was plentiful, but during peak hours, it was hard to find a seat. I wanted to pack some congee for my companion but was told there were no containers. I requested disposable chopsticks for my room, and the room service was quite slow. Furthermore, the disposable chopsticks provided were of the cheapest quality, completely inconsistent with a four-star hotel.

I must give a special shout-out to our butler, Yuanyuan. Our entire family vacation was worry-free and comfortable, all thanks to her meticulous and incredibly thoughtful service!

Even before we arrived, Yuanyuan proactively reached out to discuss our travel needs. Upon learning that we had an elderly family member with mobility issues, she promptly prepared a wheelchair in advance and made all check-in arrangements. When we arrived, everything went smoothly without any waiting or hassle.

Anticipating our late arrival, she thoughtfully familiarized herself with the hotel's restaurants and afternoon tea areas. She proactively helped us coordinate and adjust our daily dining schedule to fit our family's tastes and routines, saving us from repetitive communication.

Throughout our five-day stay, Yuanyuan considered every big and small detail in advance. She always had things arranged before we even had to ask. She was incredibly responsive and attentive to every matter, surprising us with her thoroughness. We didn't have to worry about a single thing.

On our departure day, she even prepared a lovely little gift for the child, who was absolutely delighted. This kind gesture added so much warmth to our entire trip.

She never intruded excessively but always kept our family's needs in mind, demonstrating professionalism, sincerity, and just the right amount of thoughtfulness. Yuanyuan deserves full credit for this perfectly stress-free vacation. The next time we visit Lingang, we'd love to have her as our butler again! Highly recommended!

I'd also like to specially thank Xiao Ding and Yan Guohao from the Tea House – I've shared our experience in my review on Dianping. And to the two lovely ladies at the Chinese restaurant, we were so happy that I forgot to write down their names! The lady in black knew our child loved cherry tomatoes and specially ran after us as we left to hand them to the child. That little gesture moved us deeply. We took those cherry tomatoes with us, and we also took with us the thoughtfulness and dedication of the Jinjiang staff!

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station and Tianzifang. The hotel environment itself is just average though; the room facilities are quite old-fashioned. It's clean and spacious, but the lighting is a bit dim.

Also, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so there's banging and noise starting at 7 AM. Plus, food delivery isn't allowed upstairs; you have to go down to the delivery locker to pick it up yourself.

Overall, it's not too bad, an OK stay!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's incredibly convenient, just two subway transfers from Hongqiao Railway Station, right outside the exit. The area has all sorts of amenities. The hotel service was great; it was raining in Shanghai during my stay, and there were staff at the entrance putting covers on umbrellas. An attendant guided guests in the elevator. The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was smooth. Overall, I had a very good experience! Thumbs up!

Just a small suggestion: the Wi-Fi signal in the room seemed a bit weak. It took several tries to connect. I hope this can be improved upon for an even better stay!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room and balcony are spacious enough, especially the balcony, which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breeze from the lake. The hotel's design is very stylish, but upon closer inspection, it's clear that the maintenance is just average. For example, the water in the decorative pond was grayish, the bamboo in May was yellowing, and there was rust in various places. It might have been peak dining hours during the holiday, but the overall feeling was a bit chaotic. Waitstaff were constantly rushing to clear tables or seat guests, and for both days of the buffet breakfast, we really had to find our own seats. Great location, average management, but decent value for money.

The Garden Inn is truly fantastic! Every stay is consistently clean and hygienic, with spacious and bright rooms! The green plants on the windowsill are vibrant and full of life! The bed is just the right firmness, allowing for a comfortable sleep until you naturally wake up.

The hotel's front desk staff provide quiet, gentle, and smiling service throughout, which is very pleasant.

Even the hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of options, combining both Western and Chinese dishes.

The hotel's surrounding area is incredibly convenient for public transport, with easy access to the subway.

Definitely worth recommending to more people!

My stay at the Shanghai Longbai Hotel exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The front desk staff were incredibly responsive and efficient, and they even proactively upgraded our room, which was a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. The hotel pays great attention to detail – the front desk offers free hot water and complimentary glasses cleaning, which is incredibly convenient for travelers.

Despite being over forty years old, the hotel's rooms are clean and tidy, and the infrastructure is very well-maintained; you'd never guess its age. Our room had a small balcony, and opening the window revealed a lush, tree-lined garden view. The air was fresh, offering a peaceful retreat from the city hustle, and the view was absolutely stunning.

The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant, providing excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai!

Pros: Located in Haidian District, it's surrounded by numerous universities and close to attractions like the Summer Palace, Old Summer Palace, and Fragrant Hills. Guests get free access to the gym and swimming pool. The executive suite is spacious and large.
Cons: It's situated between Zhichunlu and Wudaokou subway stations, so it's a bit of a walk. There are no dining options near the hotel itself; you have to go closer to the subway stations to find restaurants.

Came to Beijing with the kids for spring break, and didn't arrive at the hotel until after 10 PM. The front desk upgraded us from a standard room to a suite, which was a very pleasant surprise! The hotel is located within the Second Ring Road, and it's within walking distance to the subway, so the location is great. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's generally well-maintained. The only minor downsides were that the shower drain was a bit slow, and it was quite warm in the room at night in late April, but the air conditioning wasn't cooling.

My stay at Beijing Fujian Hotel was an excellent overall experience. The comfort level was top-notch, truly exceeding my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, with well-appointed soft furnishings and hardware. The soundproofing was good, ensuring a high quality of rest. The hotel's location is a major plus, being very close to the Bird's Nest stadium. Taking the subway is incredibly convenient, making it the perfect choice if you're coming specifically for a concert at the Bird's Nest – it saves so much time and hassle. The surrounding area has great amenities, with a wide variety of breakfast spots downstairs and in the neighborhood, including a full range of Chinese breakfast options, easily satisfying daily breakfast needs. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

The room is clean with necessities.  A park/garden is in nearby area where you can have a walk and exercise.

The hotel facilities are new, the hygiene is good, and the environment is beautiful. It's close to tourist attractions and convenient for getting around with the subway nearby. Special thanks to Xiao Chai and Xiao Wang for their warm reception, and to Xiao Ren for proactively helping with our luggage. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is the same Kempinski as before, and the facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms and showers are also quite roomy. The gym is especially great. The service from both the front desk and the concierge is excellent. We were accompanied by foreign guests, and the reception at the front desk was very smooth. The river view room is beautiful; the view of the illuminated Ba River at night is very pleasant. It's a bit far from the city center, but very close to the convention center. Highly recommended for meetings or business trips.
