We're in our 50s and 60s, and the Jinjiang Tower was once an unattainable dream for people our age. We were fortunate enough to stay here during Chinese New Year, thanks to changing times and having the time, leisure, and financial freedom to do so. Overall, it was quite good! The butler service was excellent. They initially missed one breakfast for us due to some reason, but after we brought it up, they promptly arranged for an extra one. Outstanding service!

This is arguably Shanghai's most iconic hotel, a true landmark of the city, and definitely worth staying at. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the front desk and bellhop staff provide excellent service, truly reflecting the grandeur of a long-established luxury hotel. The front desk even upgraded me to a deluxe king room for free, offering beautiful views from the window. The location is superb; it's close to Nanjing Road, the Shanghai Museum, the Shanghai History Museum, and Xintiandi. Just across the street is People's Park, formerly the racecourse, and there are several subway entrances nearby, making transportation incredibly convenient. As a guest, you can purchase butterfly pastry gift boxes without waiting in line, and they'll even deliver them to your room. Seeing the long queues outside in the rain for these pastries really made me appreciate the value of staying here even more. I'd also recommend Xindexiang Urban Canteen behind the hotel for its great value and delicious food. My only suggestion for the hotel would be to diversify their pastry selection; six packs of butterfly pastries in one gift box is a bit much. It would be better to offer a mix of other pastries. The historical exhibition hall on the hotel's second floor is also worth a visit.

An absolutely worthwhile choice, this is my second time staying in room 1926. Before I even checked in, a lady from the lobby management called to tell me the most convenient drop-off point and asked if I had any special requests, which was incredibly thoughtful. Upon check-in, this lady manager and another gentleman meticulously explained the hotel facilities. The room has a Republic of China era, Shanghai-style decor; it's warm and cozy, and every furnishing is carefully chosen. When I arrived, it was drizzling, so I borrowed two umbrellas from the concierge. A charming hotel with heartfelt service from the managers, creating beautiful Shanghai memories. Simply perfect! 🌹 Very, very satisfied! 👍🏻

The Jianguo Hotel was one of Shanghai's first hotels catering to international guests, so I initially thought its facilities might be a bit outdated compared to newer hotels. But I was proven wrong! From the lobby to the rooms, everything was well-equipped, clean, and meticulously organized. The hygiene and overall environment were excellent!

As for the service, everyone from the doorman at the entrance, to the staff at the front desk, and even the cleaning aunties in the rooms, was well-trained and provided impeccable service. The only area that seemed to need improvement was the breakfast restaurant. On our first day, they ran out of full-fat milk; on the second day, the fruit station was completely empty; and on the third day, tables weren't being cleared promptly even after guests had left, while two young ladies nearby were chatting and laughing.

However, these minor issues don't overshadow the overall experience. All in all, my short stay here was excellent. The hotel's location is particularly superb! And in terms of value for money, it's truly high. Therefore, I'll definitely consider this one of my top choices for future visits to Shanghai! Thank you.

I've stayed at the Jinjiang Inn Lingang several times, and each time I've experienced a different room type. The Jinjiang Inn Lingang offers both apartment-style rooms and hotel-style rooms.

Personally, I feel that the apartment-style rooms are more suitable for family trips, while the hotel-style rooms are better for business travel and couples.

This time, I booked the room a week in advance, and two days before check-in, I received a pre-arrival call inquiring about my needs. Since they learned I was celebrating Valentine's Day, they thoughtfully prepared a surprise upon my arrival.

I feel there's still room for improvement regarding the executive benefits for suites. Currently, they only offer an afternoon tea set and no Happy Hour, which is quite a shame. After all, the hotel is located in the core area of Lingang, and the night view is quite good; this service shouldn't be cut.

The housekeeping staff did an excellent job with the room's cleanliness; there were virtually no flaws, and the turndown service was very professional.

The Mini Bar was also very generous, with a wide variety of beverages, and more bottled water than we could possibly use.

However, after several stays, I have to say that the breakfast is just average, and the selection isn't very rich.

Overall, though, compared to other five-star hotels in Lingang, this hotel is still very competitive. I look forward to my next stay.

I absolutely love this hotel! I was in Shanghai for a business trip, and it's perfectly situated right across from my workplace. It's a four-star hotel, and the location is simply fantastic – you step right out of the subway station and into the hotel's back entrance. It feels like a well-established property, and the lobby is impressively spacious. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

My child was taking an exam nearby, so I didn't want to get up too early. I booked this hotel based on the distance. The overall feeling was average, the facilities were old, and the service telephones in the room were not accessible. Finally, I contacted the hotel through Ctrip for consultation. On May 3, my husband, daughter and I, a family of three, stayed overnight at the Longbai Hotel, which we had longed for. We booked a package on Ctrip.com to experience the hotel where the national leaders stayed. The beautiful lawn and the small garden behind the lobby are good places to rest. The hotel waiter Gu Wentao was hospitable and upgraded two rooms for us. The king-size bed room has a balcony with a view of the lawn. The waiters in the Chinese restaurant on the second floor were hospitable and the chef cooked local dishes for us. In order to leave a good memory, we took pictures of the layout of the room when the national leaders visited, including the small and exquisite telephone. The breakfast was nutritious and varied, which was also good. All five-star reviews.

This was such a beautiful serviced apartment, lovingly restored to Shanghai heydays of art deco. You can tell that a lot of care was put into the selection of fittings and furnishing. The service was prompt and unintrusive. We were a family of 4 and we occupied the 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and well appointed. For our joint birthday and wedding anniversary celebration, we chose the Jinjiang in Zhujiajiao. I had messaged the hotel through Trip.com beforehand, hoping for a small surprise, but unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply. Upon check-in, we received a room upgrade. I'm not sure if it was due to our two-night stay, a belated surprise, or perhaps, as my husband speculated, because the villa was easier to maintain. Compared to hotels that offer more thoughtful and proactive 'soft services' (customer care), their attention to detail in this aspect felt a bit lacking, which was a real shame. The villa itself was truly magnificent, boasting unbeatable water views and incredibly spacious interiors. The bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast impressively highlighted local specialties. However, the faucets could be a notch higher in quality, and we wished they were more securely fixed to the countertop. Many thanks to Jackson, our buggy driver, who escorted us to our room on the first day and provided a detailed and enthusiastic introduction.

The hotel room had a noticeable musty smell, possibly due to poor ventilation while the heating was on during winter. The service was rather average overall. During our stay, the hotel seemed to be hosting some kind of event, which made the environment quite noisy. When we entered the lobby, there were no staff members offering assistance with luggage or guiding us to the check-in counter. Overall, the experience was fairly ordinary and did not leave a strong impression.

The hotel is well-located, offering convenient access to a nearby station and within walking distance of Wangfujing, while being slightly removed from the busier (and more expensive) center of that area. There are also plenty of affordable local dining options close by. Check-in was smooth, requiring a 500 RMB deposit, which was promptly refunded upon check-out.

The room was spacious and generally well-maintained, with good cleaning service. The bed was slightly firm, but the room was equipped with daily-provided bathroom amenities, effective heating, complimentary bottled water, comfortable slippers, and robes.

It was spring during our stay, and high dust levels in the city affected the air quality in the room, which could be a concern for guests with allergic rhinitis. Additionally, the hotel's policy of not operating air conditioning during spring resulted in occasional discomfort at night, although a fan was provided quickly upon request.

Hotel facilities were not extensively used, but we noted they had a good-sized conference and banquet area, which could be useful for business or event travelers.
The neighborhood around the hotel felt safe and was pleasant for walking, with easy access to transportation and food options. The hotel itself was well soundproofed, ensuring a quiet stay despite its central location.

One notable drawback was the language barrier. Despite being a 4-star hotel, none of the staff we encountered spoke English, which made communication challenging. On several occasions, calls to the reception desk were disconnected without resolution, which felt unprofessional.

Lastly, we chose not to avail of the hotel's breakfast due to its relatively high price, but the abundance of nearby, affordable dining options made this a non-issue.

Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to business and family travelers looking for a centrally located, safe, and generally comfortable place to stay.

Better than I expected for the price. The bed and room were quite comfortable. The room was larger than I expected. The hotel breakfast was adequate. Not particularly good, and too much lukewarm, overcooked fried Chinese food, but not as bad as some other hotels. Slightly above average for a Chinese hotel breakfast. Staff had essentially no English language knowledge, which is a little disappointing for this class of hotel in Beijing, but they were happy to work with translators. I would stay here again.

The room is clean and comfortable, the bed is also comfortable, but the TV is a little small. There are many business districts and delicious food around, and it is convenient for travel. It is a good hotel for business trips and travel, and it is worth recommending!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. There's a subway station right outside the entrance, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean and tidy. The floor staff were also very polite and had a great service attitude. The facilities are comprehensive, including free swimming and a gym, plus a laundry room. The East-meets-West buffet breakfast was also delicious. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an.

During this trip to Xi'an, staying at Jinjiang International Hotel gave me a lot of surprises and touching moments.
The hotel's appearance is magnificent and perfectly blends with the ancient charm of Xi'an. When entering the lobby, luxury and elegance come to my face. Cheng Yaru and Yang Shaohui at the front desk opened a pleasant journey for me with their professionalism and enthusiasm. When checking in, they were skilled and answered all my questions fluently. Whether it was room details or travel guides, they gave accurate and practical answers.
The room is spacious and bright, with a sophisticated layout and simple and elegant decoration. The bedding is extremely comfortable, the facilities are complete, the bathroom is high-end and clean, and the toiletries are of excellent quality. The view outside the balcony is beautiful day and night.
In short, the hotel performs well in all aspects. The high-quality service is the finishing touch. If I have the opportunity to come to Xi'an again, this will definitely be my only choice, and I will definitely recommend it to others. I believe that every guest can enjoy a good time here.
