Vx accommodation in Shanghai

The front desk staff were very welcoming, the environment was comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. The facilities are comprehensive and very new. The service was enthusiastic, and the transportation was convenient, being very close to the subway station. The hotel also has a free laundry room and a gym, which is very convenient, especially for business trips. The cleanliness was spotless. Hot water was plentiful with good pressure. The service was exceptionally warm, and their WeChat responses were very sweet. The environment is great, and as a newly opened hotel, it offers excellent value for money. I will definitely return. Breakfast was good, and the clean environment was a plus.

Location: The location was far than I expected! It’s not located exactly near the Dabaishu station, which requires 22min by walking distance (super inconvenient especially when you had a long day after shopping - carried a lot of stuffs and walk under cold weather). Best if you could download the China map app, save a lot of your time to find the right direction get to the hotel! Room and Cleanliness: Room floor was sticky on the first night when we arrived, we told the front desk and the guy came to clean the floor, thanks a lot! Bed was comfortable, clean and tidy. Toilet was pretty small, there’s no space to hang our clothes at all and the door can’t even lock! Complete amenities, they will provide complete set of toothbrushes, slippers, etc. on a daily basis. Breakfast: Breakfast is good, although they served the same kind of breakfast everyday but it’s sufficient and reasonable, healthy and just nice. Staff & Service: Lady staff at reception was pretty rude (Monday morning duty), I told her I’ve downloaded the China map app and there’s one feature - cab/taxi/ride that’s missing and I was not unable to book or call a cab and I request for a help, or perhaps if she could help me to call or tell me where exactly I can get a cab, and guess what that lady told me they don’t have this kind of service! What! You work under a hotel and you tell me you can’t even provide a cab service contact or airport transfer and you can’t even assist your foreign guest to book a cab?! Fortunately, on my last day of staying there’s a kind lady (two of them-Tuesday morning duty) were kind enough to help me book a cab to the airport.

Cleanliness being low rated is not due to the cleaning being insufficient but the bathroom really needs renovation in the room we stayed in. Mould was present in more than one place and the drains kept a constant odour that was not pleasant. The ventilation of the bathroom was not very strong and had a big drawback of turning off once the room is vacant as the key card cuts power to the ventilation as well, this is a massive oversight tbh and exclusion of the vent from this would greatly improve the bathroom hygiene. Bathroom also lacked conditioner and body wash for some obscure reason Location is fairly good as it's relatively close to a lot of key locations and there are a few streets nearby with an abundance of local restaurants. You will need to be careful of the road and bike lane just outside however and be wary of any walking routes you may choose as those should be planned extra carefully - the immediate area is not very pedestrian friendly. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

It's a newly opened hotel. I wanted to give it a try, after all, new hotels have a strong smell in their decoration. But I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The lobby is grand, the room is basically odorless, and parking is very convenient. I asked the front desk about breakfast and they said the breakfast room is being upgraded and will be available soon. By then, all rooms will have breakfast provided. If this can be realized, it will be much more convenient. I hope the price won't increase too much by then!

A proximite immediate du musee de l'astronomie de Shanghai. L hotel est propre et le personnel tres serviable meme si il ne parle pas anglais et ne dispose pas d'outils de traduction. Petit plus les machines a laver a disposition avec la lessive. Attention petit point negatif poir les adeptes du cafe au reveil....il n'y a pas de cafe ni dans l'hotel ni a proximite immediate. Tres bon rapport qualite prix.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the front desk service is warm and efficient, the room facilities are complete and comfortable, the sleeping experience is great, and the price of booking on Ctrip is affordable. I will choose this hotel again next time I travel! !
