4-Star Hotels in Richmond

The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it was very clean. The host was also very welcoming. It gets a lot of natural light, and the kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of supplies, including oil, salt, vinegar, and soy sauce. There's a Starbucks next door, and several Chinese restaurants downstairs. Richmond's largest mall is just a few minutes' walk away, and you can walk to the SkyTrain and take one train straight to downtown. Overall, it's very convenient and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great place, convenient, clean rooms, and the landlady Jessica was very helpful. I arrived at 2 a.m. and was completely lost, but she came out to open the door for me herself. Located in Vancouver's Chinese community, it's only a 10-minute drive from the airport. I'll definitely come again next time.

The shuttle bus was convenient, running every half hour until 1 AM. Breakfast was quite good for a Canadian hotel, with a relatively wide variety of options. The scrambled eggs with vegetables were particularly delicious. The air conditioning in the room was a bit old and noisy, but luckily, you could manually adjust the fan speed, which was better than another hotel I stayed at since it didn't get too loud in the middle of the night and disturb my sleep.

I stayed at this guesthouse for several nights, and it was truly excellent to have a room to myself. Originally, I booked a twin room on the first floor, but due to the host opening reservations on other platforms, it wasn't available on the first night. The host thoughtfully arranged two double rooms for us on the second floor instead. Since my luggage was quite heavy, the host, being very empathetic, told us not to move everything. Plus, we could store our luggage for free. The kitchen also had a water purifier and coffee machine for guests to use. All in all, I'm very grateful to the host and very satisfied with my stay.

The building itself is old but the room is tidy, but has no toiletry supply at all so remember to BYO (not even slippers). I was carrying 3 big luggage and a young kid, but no one helped me with the luggage when I checked in, in fact there is only 1 staff at the lobby/concierge which probably explains it. No one had a smile on their face, from front desk to breakfast lounge, the only one who has a more friendly attitude is the chef in the breakfast lounge, but to be fair, no one was rude, just that you can’t say they welcome you to the hotel. So, no, I won’t recommend this place nor I will stay here again. You can probably get better service/facilities with Airbnb.
