The hotel room wasn't very spacious, but its proximity to the airport was a huge plus. It's just a ten-minute drive away. The hotel offers a shuttle bus, but make sure to book in advance, as it can get fully booked. There are also many restaurants nearby, making the location excellent. With the SkyTrain and various bus routes close by, it's a very convenient hotel. They offer breakfast; although the selection isn't huge, it's enough to fill you up, and there's free-flowing coffee and hot chocolate, which is a nice touch. The rooms also come with a microwave, so you can bring food back to eat. Overall, it's a good hotel.

The shuttle bus was convenient, running every half hour until 1 AM. Breakfast was quite good for a Canadian hotel, with a relatively wide variety of options. The scrambled eggs with vegetables were particularly delicious. The air conditioning in the room was a bit old and noisy, but luckily, you could manually adjust the fan speed, which was better than another hotel I stayed at since it didn't get too loud in the middle of the night and disturb my sleep.

Unfortunately due to a medical emergency I was unable to make the trip from UK to Canada - I had to cancel flights, other hotels, car hire and excursions. I submitted medical documents and have been refunded for everything else even though these were ‘non flexible’ and ‘non refundable’. The Hampton Inn by Hilton Vancouver Airport/Richmond was the only booking not to consider a refund or even a credit note, even though medical document was submitted more than 48 hrs prior to check in time. This was the continued response from Trip.com: Your booking at Hampton Inn by Hilton Vancouver-Airport/Richmond cannot be cancelled free of charge. We have submitted a free cancellation request to the hotel on your behalf. Unfortunately, we have not received a timely response from the hotel, and your booking will remain as originally confirmed.

The building itself is old but the room is tidy, but has no toiletry supply at all so remember to BYO (not even slippers). I was carrying 3 big luggage and a young kid, but no one helped me with the luggage when I checked in, in fact there is only 1 staff at the lobby/concierge which probably explains it. No one had a smile on their face, from front desk to breakfast lounge, the only one who has a more friendly attitude is the chef in the breakfast lounge, but to be fair, no one was rude, just that you can’t say they welcome you to the hotel. So, no, I won’t recommend this place nor I will stay here again. You can probably get better service/facilities with Airbnb.

I've stayed here several times, mainly because of its excellent location. It's super convenient for enjoying food, drinks, and entertainment before heading to the airport. The front desk staff are also great and very friendly. However, both elevators were out of service on the night I checked in... The environment is a bit old and just okay, but the cleanliness is fine.

Environment: The environment is quite good; we got a room with a view of the street outside. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, and gave us various directions.

This hotel's location is super convenient! It's about a 10-minute walk from the SkyTrain station, and there's a T&T Supermarket and Walmart nearby. The hotel offers breakfast, and my favorite is always the freshly made waffles with coffee. As a Chinese person, I prefer drinking hot water, and you can borrow a kettle from the front desk.

I stayed here for ten days during this trip and was more satisfied than expected: the environment was great, it was convenient to go out, and there were restaurants and shopping options within a few minutes' walk; the breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and the ingredients were of high quality; the airport shuttle service was also very convenient, with two trips per hour, running non-stop both day and night.

This hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the airport, and there are tons of great dining options nearby in Richmond. Plus, they offer free parking and the front desk staff are really friendly – some even speak Chinese, which is a nice bonus. While the hotel facilities are definitely a bit dated, the rooms themselves are spotless. It's a fantastic value-for-money option if you need a place to stay overnight during a layover.
