The service provided by the butler Xiao Luo is very good. The room is very clean and the facilities are good. However, the surrounding scenery is average. If you want to see the lake, it is not recommended to stay here. Maybe Renli in the middle of the lake is better. After 6:30 in the evening, the surrounding area is basically closed. There is nothing to eat or do. It takes dozens of kilometers to drive to the town center to find food, drink and entertainment. Everything else is very good

I had a fantastic stay at Haiwaihai Hotel! The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and local dishes. The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short distance from the stunning Qiandao Lake Scenic Area (Central Lake Area), where I enjoyed beautiful views and outdoor activities. Additionally, I was pleased to find several nearby restaurants offering halal food options, making it convenient for Muslim travelers. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any requests. I highly recommend Haiwaihai Hotel for anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay at this hotel this November for two days. The staff are very nice and helpful. They helped us search attractions and car rides. It is at a relatively convenient location between downtown and central lake tourist center, about 1-1.5 km each direction. We walked along the lake view boardwalk to enjoy great lake view both ways. The hotel has very good breakfast for a small fee with both Chinese and western styles. We definitely like it and recommend it. The only drawback is lacking maps or guidance materials so we have to study ourselves for our self-guided tours. It will be the best if tour maps and some tourist info are posted in the lobby. Overall it is a great place to stay and enjoy.

It’s a chilly season, but the welcome was so warm! Really enjoyed the excellent, attentive service。 Plentiful hot water, quiet rooms, we got an upgrade ☺️ and the breakfast options are varied and suit most tastes. Do remember to bring a warm layer to breakfast as they often open the patio doors and it gets drafty, and organize your translation, food delivery, and DiDi apps and eSIM - wifi is unstable and the ******* applet on Alipay was unusable. Thankfully the location is great, walkable to the InTime mall and many local food spots and fruit shops. And the views are wonderful - weekend evenings have the downtown buildings light up in displays that beautifully reflect on the lake. The foreigner husband gives it a 4/5, and recommends the hotel to add a fresh-cooked egg/omelet station and to make sure hot food stays hot (the warming pans were usually not on).

Loved our family room—amazing lake and island views, quiet, with a great balcony. Big towels, clean bedding, and a fridge were nice touches. The lakeside dock, restaurant and picnic areas were perfect for swimming, eating and relaxing. Downsides: The pool (filled with cloudy slimy lake water) and its rundown messy area weren’t appealing. Hallway carpets and elevator had mold, needing deep cleaning. Still, great value for the location. Don’t really need the pool with the lake so close. We’d return but hope they address the maintenance issues.

Since my friend and I were traveling with our dogs, we chose this hotel. The hotel environment is very good, the front desk service is also very good, and we upgraded the suite because our child is older (16 years old). The breakfast is also OK, although there are not many varieties, but the taste is good.

Originally, I had booked a basic lake-view room for the client, so imagine our surprise when, during check-in, the staff informed us they could provide a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe lake-view king room! This unexpected pleasant surprise instantly brought immense joy! The upgraded room was more spacious, with a well-designed layout that showcased thoughtfulness everywhere. Opening the window revealed an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, with its clear blue water and scattered islands. Every photo taken was a therapeutic masterpiece. All sorts of toiletries were readily available, and every detail reflected the sophistication of a five-star hotel. What's more, the room's cleanliness was noteworthy – from the floor and desktop to the bedding and bathroom, everything was spotless, even the nooks and crannies were sparkling clean, ensuring the client had a very comfortable and reassuring stay. Beyond the impressive room, the hotel's amenities also earned high praise from the client. In the morning, they enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the Milan Western Restaurant, which offered a rich and diverse selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Freshly baked bread, local Chun'an specialties, fresh fruits, hot porridge, and pastries were all available, with fresh ingredients and excellent taste – a perfect way to start the day. During their leisure time, the client experienced the hotel's wellness hot spring pools. The 7 unique hot spring pools nestled among the pine trees each offered different benefits. Soaking in the warm spring water while gazing at the scenic beauty of Qiandao Lake was utterly relaxing for both body and mind. The hotel also boasts a gym, outdoor pool, and cycling trails. For families, the children's playground, pottery studio, and 3D children's cinema are sure to keep the little ones entertained, satisfying the needs of various guests in one go. The service throughout our stay made us truly feel the hotel's dedication. Whether it was the patient answers from the front desk staff, the meticulous attention of the housekeeping team, or the thoughtful guidance from the restaurant and hot spring area attendants, every staff member maintained a professional and enthusiastic attitude. They responded promptly when needed and proactively offered all sorts of thoughtful assistance. The guesthouse owner provided excellent service, helping with luggage. The guesthouse environment was beautiful; the scenery must be even more stunning in summer. The facilities met basic needs, and the place was generally clean. The auntie's cooking was delicious and tasty.

The dining environment and dishes at Kaiyuan Mingting Thousand Island Lake are very satisfying. The restaurant's overall decor is simple yet elegant, clean and tidy, with soft lighting and spacious seating. You can also enjoy the surrounding scenery from the window seats, creating a quiet and comfortable dining atmosphere that's perfect for family gatherings or casual get-togethers with friends. The cuisine primarily features local Zhejiang dishes and specialties from Thousand Island Lake. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are light and well-balanced, appealing to a wide range of tastes. The fish head soup is a signature dish – milky white in color, fresh and not fishy, with tender meat. There are also local farmhouse dishes, lake fresh seafood, and stir-fries, all generously portioned and offering good value for money. Breakfast boasts a rich variety, including Chinese pastries, porridge, whole grains, fruits, and beverages, catering to different preferences. The restaurant service is prompt, with staff proactively clearing dishes and refilling water. The hygiene is meticulously maintained, making the overall dining experience comfortable and pleasant, allowing you to eat with peace of mind.

The cleanliness of this hotel is exceptional; even with my germaphobia, I couldn't find a single fault. The sheets and duvet covers were incredibly clean and soft to the touch, making for a very comfortable experience. The toilet and sink in the bathroom were also spotless, looking as good as new. Staying here felt like sleeping on clouds, truly delightful.
