The room is very good, beyond expectations, the room is large and clean, the supporting facilities are perfect, the large floor-to-ceiling windows, the scenery is good, except for some bias, the others are perfect, suitable for friends who want to see the mountains and water, the best hotel I have ever stayed in this year

We had a great stay at this hotel this November for two days. The staff are very nice and helpful. They helped us search attractions and car rides. It is at a relatively convenient location between downtown and central lake tourist center, about 1-1.5 km each direction. We walked along the lake view boardwalk to enjoy great lake view both ways. The hotel has very good breakfast for a small fee with both Chinese and western styles. We definitely like it and recommend it. The only drawback is lacking maps or guidance materials so we have to study ourselves for our self-guided tours. It will be the best if tour maps and some tourist info are posted in the lobby. Overall it is a great place to stay and enjoy.

Staying at the Longting Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Right from the entrance, you're greeted by a prominent 'Lucky Horse of the Year' display and a wishing tree. Further inside, by the elevators, there's a unique gourd-shaped photo spot. Once in the room, the decor exudes a wellness vibe, complete with a massage roller and a foot massager to help you relax and de-stress. Hotel parking is also very convenient, and there's a large Intime shopping mall just a few hundred meters away. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Family rooms with balconies offer a better view, providing a glimpse of the lake. My family room, however, was interior-facing and only offered a mountain view. The hotel has a children's play area, with an outdoor slide that can get quite sunny. There's also a small pool right by the entrance. Fish Street is just a short walk away, which was very convenient for dining. The breakfast spread was quite varied, and an additional breakfast only cost 30. On the downside, room cleanliness was just average. The dust on the black partitions seemed ingrained and couldn't be wiped off, and even the wall sconces were dusty. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Loved our family room—amazing lake and island views, quiet, with a great balcony. Big towels, clean bedding, and a fridge were nice touches. The lakeside dock, restaurant and picnic areas were perfect for swimming, eating and relaxing. Downsides: The pool (filled with cloudy slimy lake water) and its rundown messy area weren’t appealing. Hallway carpets and elevator had mold, needing deep cleaning. Still, great value for the location. Don’t really need the pool with the lake so close. We’d return but hope they address the maintenance issues.

The hotel's location is already exceptional, nestled on the Pailing Peninsula, with the serene waters of Qiandao Lake to the north and the Central Lake District tourist pier to the east. It's just a five-minute drive to the commercial district, making it incredibly convenient for travel, sightseeing, and business. The ample free parking also saved a lot of hassle for those traveling by car. Upon entering the hotel, the Chinese Sui and Tang style decor was elegant and grand. The lobby was spacious and bright, filled with a subtle, refreshing aroma. The staff warmly greeted us, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. They were all smiles, patient, and meticulous throughout, and even proactively introduced us to the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions. The first impression was simply perfect. Originally, I had booked a basic lake-view room for the client, so imagine our surprise when, during check-in, the staff informed us they could provide a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe lake-view king room! This unexpected pleasant surprise instantly brought immense joy! The upgraded room was more spacious, with a well-designed layout that showcased thoughtfulness everywhere. Opening the window revealed an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, with its clear blue water and scattered islands. Every photo taken was a therapeutic masterpiece. All sorts of toiletries were readily available, and every detail reflected the sophistication of a five-star hotel. What's more, the room's cleanliness was noteworthy – from the floor and desktop to the bedding and bathroom, everything was spotless, even the nooks and crannies were sparkling clean, ensuring the client had a very comfortable and reassuring stay. Beyond the impressive room, the hotel's amenities also earned high praise from the client. In the morning, they enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the Milan Western Restaurant, which offered a rich and diverse selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Freshly baked bread, local Chun'an specialties, fresh fruits, hot porridge, and pastries were all available, with fresh ingredients and excellent taste – a perfect way to start the day. During their leisure time, the client experienced the hotel's wellness hot spring pools. The 7 unique hot spring pools nestled among the pine trees each offered different benefits. Soaking in the warm spring water while gazing at the scenic beauty of Qiandao Lake was utterly relaxing for both body and mind. The hotel also boasts a gym, outdoor pool, and cycling trails. For families, the children's playground, pottery studio, and 3D children's cinema are sure to keep the little ones entertained, satisfying the needs of various guests in one go. The service throughout our stay made us truly feel the hotel's dedication. Whether it was the patient answers from the front desk staff, the meticulous attention of the housekeeping team, or the thoughtful guidance from the restaurant and hot spring area attendants, every staff member maintained a professional and enthusiastic attitude. They responded promptly when needed and proactively offered all sorts of thoughtful assistance. The client mentioned that during their stay at Brilliance, they not only experienced the natural beauty of Qiandao Lake but also felt the warmth of being truly at home. As a business booking, this experience far exceeded expectations. The complimentary room upgrade not only showed the hotel's sincerity to our client but also highlighted the Brilliance Resort's dedication to every guest. From the environment and facilities to the service and details, everything was impeccable, making it an excellent choice for a trip to Qiandao Lake. I've already added this hotel to our top list for business trips and personal vacations and will highly recommend it to friends. Next time we visit Qiandao Lake, we will definitely choose The Brilliance Resort Qiandao Lake again!

Positives: 😁 This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media. The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food 🍱 was delicious! There are many different choices and set options. We especially loved the fried pork. Negatives: 😕 Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away. Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful. Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao. Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.

The cleanliness of this hotel is exceptional; even with my germaphobia, I couldn't find a single fault. The sheets and duvet covers were incredibly clean and soft to the touch, making for a very comfortable experience. The toilet and sink in the bathroom were also spotless, looking as good as new. Staying here felt like sleeping on clouds, truly delightful.

This hotel's location is absolutely amazing! It's right by the central lake, so you can just step out and start exploring – incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was so soft and comfy; I felt completely refreshed after a good night's sleep. Standing on the balcony, enjoying the lake breeze and the view, was incredibly relaxing. The front desk staff, especially the lady, was super nice and patient, always helping me with my questions – truly thoughtful service!

The overall accommodation experience is good. The advantages are quietness, good views, a small peninsula, all rooms have large balconies facing the lake, no price increase during the National Day holiday, and the price is very affordable. The disadvantages are that the facilities are a bit old, and the swimming pool and other facilities have been abandoned. If you don't drive yourself, the transportation is not very convenient. I came here to ride a bike, and there is a greenway at the door, which is a perfect cycling experience
