This stay at the Deshe Lakeside B&B was an absolute delight! Adorable electric scooters were available for rent right outside the B&B, their cute colors instantly brightening the mood. Following the owner's recommended route, we cycled through forests and past the crystal-clear Yulin Dam, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning lake views, even the breeze carrying the fresh scent of grass and trees. In the evening, we passed a sea of ​​purple flowers by the lake, every snapshot a picture-perfect moment of tranquility. Back at the B&B after a day of fun, cuddly cats would snuggle up to us, and the rooms offered lake views right from the windows, the nights peaceful and soothing. Whether you're lounging and relaxing or cycling and enjoying the fresh air, this place is perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Choosing An Lan was all about finding a peaceful escape for a couple of days, and it didn't disappoint. The entire hotel is nestled among mountains and water, offering great privacy with lush greenery everywhere. The lake view room was absolutely stunning; just staring at the lake from the balcony was incredibly therapeutic. The butler service was attentive, and the shuttle bus was always available on demand. We enjoyed leisurely strolls by the infinity pool and along the forest trails, and both the spa and photo shoot we booked were fantastic experiences. There's no need to venture out to attractions; you can simply relax and unwind at the hotel. It's perfect for those who are tired and want to clear their minds and rest for a few days. Butler Miya provided warm and thoughtful service. I'll definitely be back.

Eleven people stayed for five days and the overall feeling was very good. Facilities: The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Environment: The trails on the island are quiet and the air is fresh. Outside the window, the lakes and mountains are panoramic. Hygienic: The indoor and outdoor environment is clean, and the living is comfortable and comfortable. Service: Thank you very much butler! The attitude is very kind, the service is very warm and thoughtful, no matter day or night, on call to solve the problem in time, let us spend a pleasant five days in Qiandao Lake.

Our high-floor mountain view room was upgraded to a low-floor lake view room at the very end of the building, and the view was indeed lovely. The hotel was impeccably clean; it's hard to tell it's over a decade old. The decor is luxurious and tasteful. There were no strange odors in the room. Compared to other five-star hotels I've stayed in, the breakfast here was a bit underwhelming, but all the basic options were available and replenished promptly.

I was on a last-minute trip to Qiandao Lake and arrived at the hotel quite late. Xiao Dong at the front desk was very patient and provided excellent service. The room was nice, and they upgraded me for free.

I really enjoyed the hotel's facilities. The location is great; after dinner, there's a walking path right across the street, along with snack shops. A special thanks to the lobby manager who assisted me that day. When she learned I needed help, she didn't hesitate and personally helped me put ice pops into the restaurant's freezer. In the evening, she also thoughtfully arranged for staff to come to my room at an appropriate time to collect special items that needed refrigeration. The next morning, I saw her again, and she retrieved the ice pops for me during breakfast, just as I had requested. The breakfast spread was excellent and very diverse. Enjoying it slowly by the window while taking in the view was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and accommodating. When I returned to my room, a staff member came by at a suitable time to ask if I needed anything. So, I really want to commend all the hardworking and service-minded staff at this hotel.

This is a great place to truly unwind. They have a pool, gym, billiards, a cinema, and even craft activities. You can easily spend your time here. I imagine equipment might be scarce during peak season. It's about a 30-minute drive from the town center, and some roads are unlit at night, which feels a bit unsafe. Breakfast is generally decent and filling. The most pleasant surprise was how delicious the Chinese food was! I didn't try the fish head soup, but the pickled fish and stir-fried cabbage were incredibly good and went perfectly with rice. I wish I had known earlier and not gone out to that popular but terrible fish head soup restaurant. I should have just eaten all my meals at the hotel. Customer service was very responsive, and the cleaning and noodle station staff were quick to assist. The guy who runs the craft activities was also very helpful. If you plan to use the pool or go fishing, remember to bring your own gear as the hotel doesn't sell any.

The location was good if you are planning an early boat trip, as it is only a 2 minute walk away from the pier. But if you want to sleep in, you hear the boat horns as each one departs in the morning. Is is not walkable distance to the center, but a quick didi ride away only. My initial room that I booked (single room), despite being promoted as a non smoking room, smelled horrific when I entered. They immediately changed my room when I told them about it. The shower had mould stains, but I am assuming they might have been older stains as even my highly allergic nose did not have any trouble. I did not try the breakfast as I was looking for something with protein, but breakfast was included. I believe I saw boiled corn, steamed sweet potatoes and a type of bao bun. Not fully sure. When I had trouble renting ebikes without local ID, the staff were very helpful and spent 30 minutes handling it all for us. Was given slippers on arrival, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The room had showergel and shampoo, but no handsoap. There was a bottle of slimey something in the bathroom, maybe that was handsoap, did not want to risk it. But overall, was a nice stay.

I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out! The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!

When booking a hotel in Qiandao Lake, my main concerns were that the older hotels were too dated and the newer ones too expensive. After comparing several options, I decided on a strategy: first, since it was a family trip with kids, it had to be a resort hotel. Second, it absolutely needed to be lakeside with a focus on views and experience. Finally, value for money and hotel amenities were important. That's why I chose this hotel. Upon arrival, the experience was indeed great. The room was spacious, offering a first-row lake view. The pool, petting zoo, and other amenities were all conveniently located within the hotel. The breakfast noodles were particularly distinctive. An evening electric buggy ride around the lake with my family of four was also very pleasant. My only minor complaint is the limited number of charging stations. With more and more electric cars on the road, arriving late in the evening meant no charging spots were available. However, overall, the experience was fantastic, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake.
