"Staying at the Greentown Resort Hotel Qiandao Lake again after ten years, and it's still fantastic. We chose Greentown for its excellent views, spacious rooms, and great value. The two-bedroom suite is massive, truly expansive and comfortable, perfect for a family without feeling cramped at all. The absolute best part is the unobstructed lake view; you can soak in the stunning scenery of Qiandao Lake right from your balcony. The views are captivating, both in the morning and evening, making you feel incredibly relaxed. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive, with an outdoor pool, a kids' play area, and everything you'd expect from an ideal resort. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and activities nearby. Greentown remains an excellent choice for a vacation in Qiandao Lake."

The location is excellent, right by the lake, just a few steps from the lakeside walking trail. It was also a treat to sit on the balcony and enjoy the lake view after a long walk. Breakfast was abundant and high-quality."

Since it was my birthday and I was traveling with my two-year-old, I looked for a family-friendly hotel to just relax. I've been to Qiandao Lake several times before, but this was my first stay at Minghao, and from the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. Even during peak check-in, the front desk handled everything smoothly without any chaos. The concierge also contacted me in advance and added me on WeChat. I absolutely have to give a shout-out to my concierge, Egg (Dandan)! She's beautiful, sweet-voiced, and incredibly thoughtful. She arranged the room and everything else in advance, and knowing it was my birthday, she even prepared a small cake and surprise – I'm so grateful!
During my stay, I also tried their travel photography service. The photographer was fantastic at capturing family moments, and the results were truly amazing; both the elderly and the child were delighted! I won't go on about how valuable this photography service is – just go for it when you check in! ✌️
Finally, the hotel's overall service was exceptional and very family-oriented, with so many activities. Huge thanks to all the staff for their thoughtful care throughout our stay. As a guest, the emotional value was completely maximized, and with so many activities for the kids, it truly allowed the adults to relax and free their hands!
I don't even need to mention how beautiful the room's view was. And last but not least, a big thank you again to my concierge, Egg (Dandan)! See you next time! 💯"

"This was my first time visiting Qiandao Lake, and I spent a while choosing a hotel before finally settling on Blue Bay, mainly because of its excellent location. The room was surprisingly spacious, offering a very comfortable feel. We were given a room on the 20th floor, which had an expansive view of the beautiful Qiandao Lake in the distance. A special thanks to the auntie who cleaned our room the next day – she was incredibly diligent. Breakfast was also very diverse, and my child thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time, I'd like to try a room in Building 2; I'm sure it will be even more beautiful."

"Every staff member I encountered was wonderful, especially Anna, our butler, whose service was exceptional. The concierge staff were also very proactive; a young man immediately helped me with my luggage as soon as I got out of the car and directed me to the reception. After checking out, the concierge even arranged for someone to drive me to the parking lot, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only time I had to walk was to my room; otherwise, there was always someone available for pickup and drop-off. The hotel is beautiful and definitely worth a return visit. If you're coming to Qiandao Lake, this is a no-brainer – just go for it!"

Candy, the manager/butler, provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a deluxe king room with a beautiful lake view. Whether it was day or late night, she was always responsive, and shuttle service was arranged within the resort for transportation. When we left, a car was arranged to take us to the high-speed rail station, and they even thoughtfully gave us a souvenir. This truly exceeded my expectations.
The hotel offers indoor activities such as ping-pong, badminton, a children's climbing wall, an infinity pool, a gym, and a bar. The buffet breakfast was quite rich and served until 10:30 AM. Outside the hotel, there's a children's adventure park, and nearby are Adventure Park No. 7, cycling, and a water park. You could easily spend two days without leaving the resort.
Although the hotel is a bit out of the way, it's very easy to call a car, and the beautiful scenery makes it well worth the visit. Dining is also convenient: within the resort, there's a fresh fish restaurant called ”Friends Circle Fresh Fish Restaurant,” and behind the resort's back gate, Yan Family Restaurant serves delicious fish head soup made with freshly killed fish. The BBQ and crayfish at the late-night diner are absolutely delicious too.
Additionally, you can arrange a day trip to the Central Lake Area pier for a boat tour to various islands. Moonlight Island, Longshan Island, and Meifeng Island on Line 2 offer a very pleasant 4-5 hour experience.
If you have enough time, you can also spend a day at Huma Adventure Park.

The family said that the price is affordable, and the hotel room is better than I expected. There are even many entertainments that exceed my expectations. "Had a heavenly two-day stay here. The environment is incredibly clean; you won't find a speck of dust even in the bathroom corners. The hotel has exclusive access to a lake bay, offering serene and expansive views. Sitting in the lakeside tea room, sipping tea and just daydreaming, was utterly therapeutic. The facilities are well-maintained; the gym equipment is new, and the book bar has a great vibe. What touched me most was the service. "Traveling during the May Day holiday, I chose the Holiday Inn for its better value for money. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the pier and attractions. The breakfast was plentiful, and there are many restaurants nearby, making dining convenient. The front desk staff, particularly Manager Man Yangyang, provided attentive service and responded promptly. The 26th floor has a scenic balcony, perfect for taking great photos. My stay was pleasant, highly recommended."

JJOOZWAYI have always wanted to experience the beauty of Qiandao Lake. It was my birthday so I rewarded myself with a trip to Qiandao Lake. For such a leisurely vacation, the choice of homestay is so important! Yungu Songjian Homestay was planted as soon as I saw its pictures. It is surrounded by mountains and has a white two-story building. It has a unique atmosphere even on rainy days. It also has a large swimming pool. It is also very good for taking photos at night. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious. They can also provide full meals. They are all authentic specialties. They are delicious and tasty. The staff of the homestay are very enthusiastic. They will take the initiative to ask about your needs and everything is arranged properly! You can feel the kindness and warmth. This really gave me a great experience of the trip to Qiandao Lake!

KKuishouEach room at this hotel is a standalone villa, all facing the lake. The interiors are incredibly spacious and each comes with a terrace and a full range of amenities. The bathroom, in particular, is huge and very comfortable. The hotel's public areas are beautifully landscaped, with plenty of cherry blossoms. I'd initially hoped to see cherry blossoms in Qiandao Lake, but they had all withered outside the hotel. Luckily, there were still many within the hotel grounds, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities; the staff even added me on WeChat before check-in to send over the options. However, the room itself was so comfortable that I didn't end up participating in any. The hotel's location is very close to Qinchuan Ancient Village, which is a lovely place. The only downside is that the water level in the lake area where the hotel is located can vary significantly with the seasons. Visiting in April, the water level was quite low, making the lake view less impressive compared to the areas closer to Qiandao Lake Town. Additionally, it's a bit far from the main attractions in Qiandao Lake Town, about an hour's drive. This hotel is ideal for guests looking for a relaxed getaway, but perhaps less so for those primarily interested in visiting the core attractions.

GGuest UserI guess I'm a loyal customer of this hotel in Xian Mountain, Qiandao Lake. I've been there twenty times, and every time I visit Qiandao Lake, I still choose this hotel. There's a unique sense of appropriateness here – they don't seem to be merely providing service, but rather 'taking care' of you, making you feel like entering the hotel truly marks the beginning of a vacation: free, comfortable, pleasant, and warm!
I felt it the moment I arrived.
The car had barely stopped at the entrance when the bellhop scurried over to open the car door, greeting us with a smiling 'Hello, welcome home.' After we checked in, a bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage, introducing himself as he led us to the elevator: 'If you need anything these next few days, just call the concierge. My name is Henry.' He was a bright and efficient young man with a constant smile. Just hearing him say that, and seeing his smile, made you feel like he wasn't just completing a task, but genuinely inviting you to reach out, all to put your mind at ease!
On the day we checked in, I casually asked if there were any good running routes nearby and what fun things there were to do. Henry actually took the time to draw me a map, explaining the hotel's layout, where I could run, where I could cycle, where I could hike, where I could pick bayberries, and where I could eat. He even reminded me, 'Before 6:30 AM, the boardwalk is less crowded. If you like photography, you can go and take pictures of the sunrise; it’s really beautiful.' The next morning, we indeed went to the lighthouse and the camphor tree forest. When we returned, dripping with sweat, we ran into him again in the lobby. He enthusiastically asked, 'Finished your run? The weather's great today, how was it?' – just like an old friend I'd known for ages. It feels wonderful to be remembered!
Another time, our group of ten went to the hotel. In the evening, he led us to chase the sunset. We walked cheerfully along the path on Xian Mountain Peninsula. He walked in front, constantly describing the surrounding scenery and sharing stories of past guests, occasionally turning back to make sure everyone was still with us. In that moment, it didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like being shown around by a local old friend, listening to him share everything about the area…
The hotel is now called InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, and everything is still as beautiful and comfortable in that resort style. The moment you step into your hotel room and open the door, the entire Qiandao Lake unfolds before your eyes. You can't help but think: 'This is exactly what I wanted!' The mist and mountain breeze intertwine, a gentle drizzle, so comfortable you don't want to move. The bedding was just the right firmness, and I swapped my pillow for a buckwheat one, sleeping soundly until my alarm went off – which is quite rare in a hotel. The breakfast restaurant is also the most extensive among similar hotels, with a vast array of dishes prepared meticulously. There were six or seven kinds of green leafy vegetables for the salad alone, and a variety of dressings. There was also a young man making fresh squeezed juice, busy but with a good-natured smile on his face all morning long…
So, what does staying in a hotel mean, you ask? Is it just staying for two nights, looking at the lake, and eating fish head? Actually, it's about enjoying the service the hotel provides, not just the 'hello, thank you, sorry' routine, but feeling that someone truly cares about your feelings, your needs, and your mood! InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort doesn't feel like staying in a hotel to me; it feels more like visiting a friend's home who truly understands you. You want to go back every now and then to see your old friend and everything you hold dear! The lake view is beautiful, but what makes me want to keep returning are those warm moments I remember…
The lake views will stay in our photo albums and on our phones, but those people and those moments of being treated with kindness will always remain in my heart…

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot.
The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue.
Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around.
Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy.
Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry.

AAlexander 压力山大The hotel is located in the best spot in the town, so you you'll find it very convenient roaming around from here. The place is surrounded by the best fish restaurants. There's a bike rental right in front of the hotel.
The room was clean is spacious. The shower is awesome in case you need to warm yourself up real quick after a winter walk. I strongly recommend to you to get a round corner room (ours was 2607) with the city view, in this case you'll have a purely magnificent panoramic view on the mountain valley to the Sunset side + city with the night city lights + a part of the lake (check out the photos).
The service was great. They brought us fruit as a Chinese New Year gift.
We had a late train back to Hangzhou and the weather was nasty outside, they agreed to let us stay until 20:00 for half the price.
The TV had a lot of movies in English, so it was great too. Breakfast was a typical Chinese one, but I found something for myself as well and it was enough.
The mini fridge was removed from the room for some weird reason, as I understand, since there's a place for it, but that's not a big deal.
We had an awesome time staying here and definitely will come here again soon!

GGuest UserAmong all the hotels around, this one's price is very friendly. I didn't have high hopes initially, but from the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I made the right choice. The front desk was very responsive, and Tony, a staff member (possibly nicknamed 'Xiao Ma Ge'), was very enthusiastic. He helped us carry our luggage to the room. I think the hotel's breakfast variety is very rich, and the location is also very convenient. Compared to hotels costing over a thousand, I think this place offers great value for money.

YyadoouFor its price point, this hotel is unbeatable in Qiandao Lake. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the cleanliness is top-notch. Parking is also convenient. On the day of our stay, there was a large group, but the restaurant was very prompt in refilling food during breakfast, so we were all well-fed. The only drawback is that Qiandao Lake is quite large. If your activities aren't around Qingxi or Beer Town, it's about a dozen kilometers to the central lake area. Plus, with more traffic on holidays, travel time can be quite long.

GGuest UserThe location was good if you are planning an early boat trip, as it is only a 2 minute walk away from the pier. But if you want to sleep in, you hear the boat horns as each one departs in the morning. Is is not walkable distance to the center, but a quick didi ride away only. My initial room that I booked (single room), despite being promoted as a non smoking room, smelled horrific when I entered. They immediately changed my room when I told them about it. The shower had mould stains, but I am assuming they might have been older stains as even my highly allergic nose did not have any trouble. I did not try the breakfast as I was looking for something with protein, but breakfast was included. I believe I saw boiled corn, steamed sweet potatoes and a type of bao bun. Not fully sure. When I had trouble renting ebikes without local ID, the staff were very helpful and spent 30 minutes handling it all for us. Was given slippers on arrival, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The room had showergel and shampoo, but no handsoap. There was a bottle of slimey something in the bathroom, maybe that was handsoap, did not want to risk it. But overall, was a nice stay.

Booking the Qiandao Lake Brilliance Resort for a client this time around was an absolutely perfect experience, especially the hotel's thoughtful free room upgrade service, which left the client feeling incredibly surprised and touched. I simply had to write a glowing review to express my appreciation!
As the party responsible for booking a business trip, what matters most is the client's stay experience. The Brilliance Resort, with its professional service, stunning environment, and thoughtful details, perfectly met our expectations and left the client with a fantastic impression of their Qiandao Lake trip. The hotel's location is already exceptional, nestled on the Pailing Peninsula, with the serene waters of Qiandao Lake to the north and the Central Lake District tourist pier to the east. It's just a five-minute drive to the commercial district, making it incredibly convenient for travel, sightseeing, and business. The ample free parking also saved a lot of hassle for those traveling by car.
Upon entering the hotel, the Chinese Sui and Tang style decor was elegant and grand. The lobby was spacious and bright, filled with a subtle, refreshing aroma. The staff warmly greeted us, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. They were all smiles, patient, and meticulous throughout, and even proactively introduced us to the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions. The first impression was simply perfect.
Originally, I had booked a basic lake-view room for the client, so imagine our surprise when, during check-in, the staff informed us they could provide a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe lake-view king room! This unexpected pleasant surprise instantly brought immense joy! The upgraded room was more spacious, with a well-designed layout that showcased thoughtfulness everywhere. Opening the window revealed an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, with its clear blue water and scattered islands. Every photo taken was a therapeutic masterpiece. All sorts of toiletries were readily available, and every detail reflected the sophistication of a five-star hotel. What's more, the room's cleanliness was noteworthy – from the floor and desktop to the bedding and bathroom, everything was spotless, even the nooks and crannies were sparkling clean, ensuring the client had a very comfortable and reassuring stay.
Beyond the impressive room, the hotel's amenities also earned high praise from the client. In the morning, they enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the Milan Western Restaurant, which offered a rich and diverse selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Freshly baked bread, local Chun'an specialties, fresh fruits, hot porridge, and pastries were all available, with fresh ingredients and excellent taste – a perfect way to start the day. During their leisure time, the client experienced the hotel's wellness hot spring pools. The 7 unique hot spring pools nestled among the pine trees each offered different benefits. Soaking in the warm spring water while gazing at the scenic beauty of Qiandao Lake was utterly relaxing for both body and mind. The hotel also boasts a gym, outdoor pool, and cycling trails. For families, the children's playground, pottery studio, and 3D children's cinema are sure to keep the little ones entertained, satisfying the needs of various guests in one go.
The service throughout our stay made us truly feel the hotel's dedication. Whether it was the patient answers from the front desk staff, the meticulous attention of the housekeeping team, or the thoughtful guidance from the restaurant and hot spring area attendants, every staff member maintained a professional and enthusiastic attitude. They responded promptly when needed and proactively offered all sorts of thoughtful assistance. The client mentioned that during their stay at Brilliance, they not only experienced the natural beauty of Qiandao Lake but also felt the warmth of being truly at home.
As a business booking, this experience far exceeded expectations. The complimentary room upgrade not only showed the hotel's sincerity to our client but also highlighted the Brilliance Resort's dedication to every guest. From the environment and facilities to the service and details, everything was impeccable, making it an excellent choice for a trip to Qiandao Lake. I've already added this hotel to our top list for business trips and personal vacations and will highly recommend it to friends. Next time we visit Qiandao Lake, we will definitely choose The Brilliance Resort Qiandao Lake again!

MMAGGIE_YUThe guesthouse owner provided excellent service, helping with luggage. The guesthouse environment was beautiful; the scenery must be even more stunning in summer. The facilities met basic needs, and the place was generally clean. The auntie's cooking was delicious and tasty.
