"The lake view room offered fantastic views, and the blackout curtains were excellent. Waking up in a completely dark room each morning and then opening the curtains to reveal the sparkling lake view was incredibly pleasant. Due to a typhoon, the outdoor pool was initially closed, but the hotel staff were very efficient, and it reopened the very next day, so we could enjoy it. The hotel's decor and aesthetic were very high-end; there were no strange or out-of-place texts, and the logo was a simple 'S'. The outdoor pool, the floor-to-ceiling windows on the second-floor lobby, the room balconies, and the restaurant all provided great photo opportunities. There were a few minor issues during check-in. On the first night, a chair leg broke, and I almost fell. Then, when I wanted to use the bathtub, I discovered a rove beetle. I immediately called the front desk, and a manager came to resolve it. They upgraded us to a suite and, after some discussion, gave us a complimentary fish head set meal. The sheets in the suite were a bit damp, but there was a dehumidifier – it's by the lake, so what can you do? 👐 Given the compensation, it was acceptable. Thankfully, I didn't touch the rove beetle 🥲, they're really scary. If they crawl on your skin, it can cause redness, swelling, and scarring, which is horrible. If you see these black and red insects, whatever you do, don't swat them with your hand! We carefully wrapped it up in layers in the bathtub! You can say the Sheraton rooms are old and have bugs, but you cannot question the kitchen here. Breakfast was extensive, and the fish head set meal was incredibly delicious. The fish head soup was super fresh and tasty, and the other dishes were also good. We received complimentary kayaking tickets, but it was too hot in the summer, so we skipped it. Both indoor pools were open; the indoor one was open until 9 PM, and the outdoor one until 10 PM. We didn't have a need for the pet park or the kids' club, so we didn't explore them much. You can walk around the lake by going through the hotel's back exit, but remember to bring mosquito repellent. Overall, the hotel's facilities, service attitude, dining quality, and scenic views were all exceptionally good. It's perfect for a relaxing, all-inclusive getaway where you can just unwind. I hesitated for a long time among various hotels in Qiandao Lake, like Minghao, Fanli, Hilton, Jun'anyi, and Free Intercontinental Palace, but I have no regrets about coming here. Everyone had a great time!✌"

"Staying in Building 1 of Greentown, our room with a large balcony directly faced Qiandao Lake, which really set the perfect vacation mood. The staff in the breakfast area were kind and friendly, and the food selection was rich and varied. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast while admiring the lake view. Our dedicated butler provided thoughtful assistance throughout our stay, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service and highly recommend it for family trips."

"Taking advantage of the tail end of summer vacation, I brought my daughter to Qiandao Lake for a family trip. After comparing several options, I chose this hotel, and our three-day, two-night stay was perfect, truly one of the top parent-child resorts in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area. I genuinely recommend it to all parents traveling with children. The hotel's location is excellent, occupying a central lakeside peninsula of Qiandao Lake. It's surrounded by the lake on three sides, offering expansive views. From the popular photo spots on the 5th and 6th floors, you can directly face the beautiful Qiandao Lake scenery. My only regret was that since we were traveling with friends, our travel dates were set a bit last minute, and we couldn't book two lake-view twin rooms. We had to settle for two landscape-view twin rooms. I want to thank our butler, Ziva, for specifically reserving two of the largest landscape rooms for us. The children had so much space to run around; the rooms were truly super, super spacious. Next time, I might choose a lake-view room for a different experience. The hotel provides a complete set of complimentary child-friendly items: a children's toilet seat, non-slip footstool, baby toiletries, small slippers, and a bed rail. The thoughtful details exceeded our expectations. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy, and odorless, and the toiletries were high-quality – Bulgari bath products, which was a nice touch! The sheets and pillows were soft and breathable. Our butler, Ziva, even thoughtfully mentioned that if the pillows were too soft, harder ones were available, which was very considerate. After a busy day, we slept soundly, and the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any noise from the corridor. The most amazing part was the hotel's 3,000-square-meter children's playground. This was the highlight of our trip and our favorite feature. It's incredibly spacious, and both toddlers and older children can find something fun to do. My daughter played in the ocean ball pit with the multi-story giant slide dozens of times and didn't want to leave. The dinosaur sandbox was equipped with a full set of digging tools and was clean and free of debris. There was also a carousel, a princess dress-up area, and a building block craft area where little girls could try on various princess dresses for photos. The playground is staffed by dedicated supervisors, provides free non-slip socks upon entry, and has clean restrooms and water dispensers inside, allowing parents to relax and unwind. In addition to the indoor playground, there were mini go-karts and a VR arcade on the basement level, which older children also enjoyed. On the first floor, there was also a screening room and an arcade, where I managed to win quite a few dolls for my daughter. The hotel also has large outdoor water activities and an indoor heated pool. Unfortunately, my daughter had a bit of an upset stomach before we left, so we couldn't experience them, which was a shame. Every evening at 7:30 and 8:30, there were two 88-meter-long water screen movies. The lights combined with the lake created an incredible atmosphere, and my daughter watched mesmerized. The only downside was that it was quite sweaty outdoors in the summer heat, but the good news was there were no mosquitoes. Dining was equally delightful. The hotel's buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, with a dedicated children's area featuring steamed dim sum, yogurt, cartoon-shaped pastries, and fresh squeezed juices. The ingredients were fresh, and the restaurant staff were attentive, proactively bringing baby utensils. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel's buffet Western restaurant; the dishes were fresh, complete, and the quality was top-notch. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for the buffet dinner, which saved us a good amount. It happened to be Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day) on the night we had dinner, and the hotel even gave us themed heart-shaped cakes, which was a very lovely gesture. The entire hotel staff provided warm and thoughtful service. From the front desk check-in to the cleaning staff and the playground attendants, everyone was exceptionally patient with children. They proactively gave children small gifts during check-in, greeted my daughter whenever they saw her, and never pushed any sales, maintaining just the right balance in their service. Food delivery from outside was also convenient; orders could be picked up from a designated spot in the lobby on the first floor or delivered to the room by a robot. Additionally, the hotel offered a complimentary travel photography session. The emerging travel photographers were excellent, preserving precious memories of our trip. They also offered a reasonable discount on the digital negatives when we selected our photos, which we appreciated. This trip to Qiandao Lake with my daughter, thanks to Minghao Hotel, eliminated all the usual exhaustion of traveling with children. The huge children's playground, two pools, prime lake views, thoughtful child-friendly amenities, and meticulous, warm service were all top-notch. The value for money far exceeded other resorts in the same price range. Whether for a short weekend getaway with kids or a multi-day family vacation, it's perfectly suited. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone! Finally, I want to thank butler Ziva again for her attentive answers before check-in and her enthusiastic and thoughtful service during our stay. The emotional value she provided throughout made me feel exceptionally welcomed and respected. I truly look forward to seeing her again on my next stay!"

"I saw the beautiful pool online and decided to bring my little ones for a weekend road trip with my girlfriends. However, the overall experience was just okay. We were assigned to Block B with two kids, but the pool and restaurant are all in Block A, which was quite inconvenient for going back and forth. Also, since we had two children, I asked the hotel for an extra set of kids' toiletries. They said it would be an additional charge. I've stayed in many hotels, and this is the first time I've encountered this. I could understand if it were just one child and they were unwilling to provide it, but we actually had two. The pool isn't heated, so it's not recommended for children to stay in for too long. After playing in the water, the kids kept sneezing frequently at night 🤧. Moreover, the toilets in the pool area were very dirty, especially the commodes. I suggest they improve management and make it more welcoming. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent. All the ingredients were fresh, and the taste was great."

"Atour's quality is consistently excellent, and their breakfast seems to follow a standard across all their hotels. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the central lake area, with picturesque views from the window. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qiandao Lake. Highly recommend it!"

"The hotel's location is indeed quite remote, 50 km from the high-speed train station. It's really only suitable for guests who plan to stay within the resort and not venture out. I had great experiences with other Club Meds before, so I visited the Nanjing and Qiandao Lake ones during the summer. I came to this one with tempered expectations, knowing it wouldn't be as good as the traditional villages. However, it's even worse than the Xianlin Club Med in Nanjing. The service is the absolute worst; no one was enthusiastic or welcoming. The buffet was unappetizing, and the 'Yi Bar' drinks were also bad. I truly regret booking an all-inclusive package – it was not worth it! It should just be treated as a regular hotel. If you're not going to participate in Club Med's extensive activities and interact with the G.O.s, there's no point in coming to such a remote Club Med! There are plenty of 5-star hotels in towns. I booked two rooms and specifically requested them to be adjacent to my parents' room, but they ended up being several doors apart, which was fine. However, one room wasn't ready until 4 PM, and then at checkout, they wouldn't even allow one room a late checkout, claiming it was fully booked. It was a Monday, what 'fully booked' are they talking about? I think it's more likely that there weren't enough housekeeping staff, so they couldn't get things ready in time! The room's cleanliness was mediocre, and there were flies at the buffet. Breakfast items were also refilled very slowly. Most importantly, the evening activities were very lackluster. The G.O.s showed no enthusiasm, there was no atmosphere; they just seemed to be going through the motions. There wasn't even a participation show for the children. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this Qiandao Lake Club Med. It's terrible. I didn't experience the Club Med hotel culture or philosophy at all. I do not recommend staying here."

"Thanks to Meiyangyang for upgrading our room; the service was warm and polite. The Hilton Qiandao Lake Resort is very new. We drove there, and as soon as we parked the car in front of the hotel, the security guard thoughtfully put a sunshade on our front windshield. Our room on the 27th floor was clean and tidy, with a partial lake view. There are many restaurants nearby, and the mall is also within walking distance. The room was clean and hygienic, the bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast was rich and delicious, including freshly baked bread, welcome fruit, and even a departure gift. We'll definitely come again next time!"

"We stayed for two days with our one-year-old. The room was quite spacious, and the vanity area was large enough to double as a temporary changing station for diapers. The pool area was very clean, with three outdoor pools. One was extremely shallow, perfect for toddlers – our one-year-old could sit down and the water would reach their belly. There was also a heated circular pool and several other small hot springs, which were very comfortable. However, they closed at 6 PM, which felt a bit early. Next door is the Duck Paradise, which wasn't very engaging for a one-year-old, but would be great for older kids to burn off energy. Breakfast was plentiful, with options even our little one enjoyed, and baby tableware was provided. The hotel also has a kids' play area. It’s not as big or with as many facilities as places like Sun Park, but it's perfectly adequate for an occasional session in the ball pit and stays open until 9 PM. The gym was also quite good, with all the basic equipment. Driving out for meals wasn't too far either. The service was excellent, with staff members readily available to help with any issues. Anna and Wendy handled our check-in and check-out smoothly, and were always available to assist with anything we needed. On the downside, the hotel doesn't have a laundry room with a dryer, which was inconvenient for drying swimsuits after a dip. Also, the parking lot lacks EV charging stations. We had to drive about a kilometer away to charge our electric car, and even then, those spots were often occupied by non-charging vehicles, forcing us to drive even further out, which was quite inconvenient."

The breakfast selection is rich and varied. Overall, it offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for a trip to Qiandao Lake!"
