JJOOZWAYI have always wanted to experience the beauty of Qiandao Lake. It was my birthday so I rewarded myself with a trip to Qiandao Lake. For such a leisurely vacation, the choice of homestay is so important! Yungu Songjian Homestay was planted as soon as I saw its pictures. It is surrounded by mountains and has a white two-story building. It has a unique atmosphere even on rainy days. It also has a large swimming pool. It is also very good for taking photos at night. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious. They can also provide full meals. They are all authentic specialties. They are delicious and tasty. The staff of the homestay are very enthusiastic. They will take the initiative to ask about your needs and everything is arranged properly! You can feel the kindness and warmth. This really gave me a great experience of the trip to Qiandao Lake!

MM27320****We booked a short honeymoon at An Lan, and it truly exceeded our expectations. I absolutely love the secluded feeling of An Lan – it's so quiet and undisturbed, allowing you to simply enjoy the picturesque scenery.
The service was exceptionally good. Our room was upgraded, and housekeeping was very prompt. We also received complimentary fruits, cookies, water, and more.
I must commend our butler, Stella. She was incredibly meticulous, checking in with us about our meals, daily needs, transportation, and everything in between. When she found out we were celebrating a small anniversary, she thoughtfully arranged a beautiful setup and even sent a lovely cake, which really touched me. This level of service is truly top-notch.
The Chinese restaurant's food was also excellent; we chose the chopped chili fish head. And the breakfast, oh, it completely won me over! Such a variety of flavors, I ended up stuffed every single day!
Aside from the slightly high prices for additional services, everything else was absolutely perfect!

GGuest UserOkay, so we went during the national holiday so I appreciate that the prices were higher than normal but I really feel like for the amount paid, it just wasn’t worth it. The room amenities were lacking and didn’t include basic things like conditioner (which were listed as included on Trip) so when we asked for some, the very lovely staff rallied to find us some small travel bottles but they weren’t great so we ended up buying our own (limited options because it’s far out). The breakfast was okay but the choice was limited and the tables were always a bit sticky and unclean- and the coffee machine was terrible... It’s a shame, the staff really were very nice and helpful but the hotel prices just don’t match what you get. The pool was closed, the bed was loud and squeaky, the tables in the room were different from the photos- balcony was half the size, sofa was stained and dirty…again not terrible but really not worth the high price paid.

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot.
The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue.
Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around.
Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy.
Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry.

As a high-end resort under the Huazhu Group, it lives up to its reputation for excellence.
I requested a room with a view when booking, and they thoughtfully arranged one with a partial lake view. Very considerate.
The hotel is quiet and has a great ambiance. There's an outdoor swimming pool in summer, which the kids loved. The breakfast spread is also extensive. It's a fantastic place to stay when visiting Qiandao Lake.

YyadoouFor its price point, this hotel is unbeatable in Qiandao Lake. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the cleanliness is top-notch. Parking is also convenient. On the day of our stay, there was a large group, but the restaurant was very prompt in refilling food during breakfast, so we were all well-fed. The only drawback is that Qiandao Lake is quite large. If your activities aren't around Qingxi or Beer Town, it's about a dozen kilometers to the central lake area. Plus, with more traffic on holidays, travel time can be quite long.

Booking the Qiandao Lake Brilliance Resort for a client this time around was an absolutely perfect experience, especially the hotel's thoughtful free room upgrade service, which left the client feeling incredibly surprised and touched. I simply had to write a glowing review to express my appreciation!
As the party responsible for booking a business trip, what matters most is the client's stay experience. The Brilliance Resort, with its professional service, stunning environment, and thoughtful details, perfectly met our expectations and left the client with a fantastic impression of their Qiandao Lake trip. The hotel's location is already exceptional, nestled on the Pailing Peninsula, with the serene waters of Qiandao Lake to the north and the Central Lake District tourist pier to the east. It's just a five-minute drive to the commercial district, making it incredibly convenient for travel, sightseeing, and business. The ample free parking also saved a lot of hassle for those traveling by car.
Upon entering the hotel, the Chinese Sui and Tang style decor was elegant and grand. The lobby was spacious and bright, filled with a subtle, refreshing aroma. The staff warmly greeted us, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. They were all smiles, patient, and meticulous throughout, and even proactively introduced us to the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions. The first impression was simply perfect.
Originally, I had booked a basic lake-view room for the client, so imagine our surprise when, during check-in, the staff informed us they could provide a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe lake-view king room! This unexpected pleasant surprise instantly brought immense joy! The upgraded room was more spacious, with a well-designed layout that showcased thoughtfulness everywhere. Opening the window revealed an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, with its clear blue water and scattered islands. Every photo taken was a therapeutic masterpiece. All sorts of toiletries were readily available, and every detail reflected the sophistication of a five-star hotel. What's more, the room's cleanliness was noteworthy – from the floor and desktop to the bedding and bathroom, everything was spotless, even the nooks and crannies were sparkling clean, ensuring the client had a very comfortable and reassuring stay.
Beyond the impressive room, the hotel's amenities also earned high praise from the client. In the morning, they enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the Milan Western Restaurant, which offered a rich and diverse selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Freshly baked bread, local Chun'an specialties, fresh fruits, hot porridge, and pastries were all available, with fresh ingredients and excellent taste – a perfect way to start the day. During their leisure time, the client experienced the hotel's wellness hot spring pools. The 7 unique hot spring pools nestled among the pine trees each offered different benefits. Soaking in the warm spring water while gazing at the scenic beauty of Qiandao Lake was utterly relaxing for both body and mind. The hotel also boasts a gym, outdoor pool, and cycling trails. For families, the children's playground, pottery studio, and 3D children's cinema are sure to keep the little ones entertained, satisfying the needs of various guests in one go.
The service throughout our stay made us truly feel the hotel's dedication. Whether it was the patient answers from the front desk staff, the meticulous attention of the housekeeping team, or the thoughtful guidance from the restaurant and hot spring area attendants, every staff member maintained a professional and enthusiastic attitude. They responded promptly when needed and proactively offered all sorts of thoughtful assistance. The client mentioned that during their stay at Brilliance, they not only experienced the natural beauty of Qiandao Lake but also felt the warmth of being truly at home.
As a business booking, this experience far exceeded expectations. The complimentary room upgrade not only showed the hotel's sincerity to our client but also highlighted the Brilliance Resort's dedication to every guest. From the environment and facilities to the service and details, everything was impeccable, making it an excellent choice for a trip to Qiandao Lake. I've already added this hotel to our top list for business trips and personal vacations and will highly recommend it to friends. Next time we visit Qiandao Lake, we will definitely choose The Brilliance Resort Qiandao Lake again!

AAlexander 压力山大The hotel is located in the best spot in the town, so you you'll find it very convenient roaming around from here. The place is surrounded by the best fish restaurants. There's a bike rental right in front of the hotel.
The room was clean is spacious. The shower is awesome in case you need to warm yourself up real quick after a winter walk. I strongly recommend to you to get a round corner room (ours was 2607) with the city view, in this case you'll have a purely magnificent panoramic view on the mountain valley to the Sunset side + city with the night city lights + a part of the lake (check out the photos).
The service was great. They brought us fruit as a Chinese New Year gift.
We had a late train back to Hangzhou and the weather was nasty outside, they agreed to let us stay until 20:00 for half the price.
The TV had a lot of movies in English, so it was great too. Breakfast was a typical Chinese one, but I found something for myself as well and it was enough.
The mini fridge was removed from the room for some weird reason, as I understand, since there's a place for it, but that's not a big deal.
We had an awesome time staying here and definitely will come here again soon!

GGuest UserThe location was good if you are planning an early boat trip, as it is only a 2 minute walk away from the pier. But if you want to sleep in, you hear the boat horns as each one departs in the morning. Is is not walkable distance to the center, but a quick didi ride away only. My initial room that I booked (single room), despite being promoted as a non smoking room, smelled horrific when I entered. They immediately changed my room when I told them about it. The shower had mould stains, but I am assuming they might have been older stains as even my highly allergic nose did not have any trouble. I did not try the breakfast as I was looking for something with protein, but breakfast was included. I believe I saw boiled corn, steamed sweet potatoes and a type of bao bun. Not fully sure. When I had trouble renting ebikes without local ID, the staff were very helpful and spent 30 minutes handling it all for us. Was given slippers on arrival, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The room had showergel and shampoo, but no handsoap. There was a bottle of slimey something in the bathroom, maybe that was handsoap, did not want to risk it. But overall, was a nice stay.

GGuest UserAs a fellow countryman, this is the best-serviced relaxation and wellness place I've ever been to. Most importantly, the owner is the best owner I've ever met—a truly kind and supportive person. There's a fireplace area, fishing facilities, and even a private hot spring. The location is a bit secluded, but offers mountain and water views, making it perfect for those who appreciate tranquility. There are also facilities for children at the entrance.
I haven't reviewed the facilities in a long time. I'll definitely come back. Most other hotels are about the experience, but here it's about the service. There's a supermarket about 1 kilometer away. Today there was a minor water outage, and the owner brought me hot water. Honestly, it's hard to find an owner like him again. The only downside might be the quietness, but it perfectly suits my mood. I'll definitely be back!
