⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Stay in Hengdian! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian. The location is excellent—just about a 10-minute walk to Qin Palace and Dream Valley. There are convenience stores nearby, plenty of restaurants, Hanfu rental studios, and Youyi Photo Studio, making it very convenient for travelers and photoshoot enthusiasts. What impressed me the most was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to approach. They even upgraded us to a family room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The amenities were complete, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day. The room was cleaned daily, water and toiletries were replenished, and towels were replaced regularly. The best part? The manager went above and beyond by helping me purchase Zhang Linghe’s Molison eyeglasses! ❤️😍 As a fan, I was so happy. I also received lots of Zhang Linghe freebies, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, convenience, and hospitality. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it! If you’re planning to stay in Hengdian, I highly recommend this hotel.

Super fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle. Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel. There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set. The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors. The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups. The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day. The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi. Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.

The room experience was great, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. It's very convenient for business trips as the hotel is close to the trade city and within walking distance. The hotel's location is excellent, being very near the trade city. The room facilities are well-equipped, and I highly recommend using the smart voice assistant Xiao Du.

The environment is clean and tidy, and the location is excellent. You can see Dream Valley from the window. It's just a short walk to Qingming Shanghe Garden and Dream Valley. The staff were very helpful and even thoughtfully provided face masks and steam eye masks, which was a very nice touch. The breakfast on the first floor offered a wide variety of options. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely be back next time!

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of International Trade City Districts 2 and 3. There are many restaurants along Yinhai Road nearby, which is quite convenient. The price is reasonable, and breakfast is served on the 9th-floor rooftop. It's standard but not bad, offering everything you'd expect.

The hotel staff were incredibly considerate. We arrived too early for our room to be ready, but while we waited in the lobby, the front desk attendant warmly offered us delicious coffee and patiently answered all our questions. They even recommended some great local spots for food and entertainment! We ended up visiting the International Trade City, which was quite good, and then went to Santing Road Night Market in the evening – it was packed and super lively. We were very happy with our stay.

Five-star rating across the board! The location is excellent – it's less than a 10-minute walk to the Santing Road Night Market, and Sultan Restaurant is right across the street. Leifeng Milk Tea is also just a two or three-minute stroll away. A taxi to District 1 of the International Trade City costs less than 10 yuan. The room is very spacious, and all the staff are super friendly. For breakfast, I have to rave about the mini wontons and the roasted chicken wings – especially the chicken wings, which taste like they're prepared in the style of the Turkish restaurants you see all over Yiwu, absolutely delicious! The coffee is also rich and strong, the perfect way to kick off a new day. The only minor issue is the soundproofing. The guests upstairs were stomping around past midnight, and it was quite frustrating to be woken up by that. At that point, I also noticed how clearly you could hear cars driving by outside.

The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's hygiene was excellent, spotless, with attention to detail evident throughout. The front desk service was warm and attentive, with quick responses, making guests feel very welcome. The breakfast offered a rich and varied selection, blending both Chinese and Western options to satisfy all tastes. The location was superb, convenient for travel, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The soundproofing was outstanding, making for quiet nights and high-quality rest. Overall, the value for money was exceptional, and it was a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable accommodation!

Next time I visit, I'll probably choose this place again. The only downside might be that you have to walk a bit to find late-night snacks, but everything else was great. The room was very spacious; there were four of us – two adults and kids aged 13 and 10. We pushed the twin beds together, and it was perfectly comfortable for sleeping. The shower water was also very nice. The breakfast was quite ample, with hot food stations. I felt the restaurant supervisor was very responsible, constantly ensuring cleaners cleared tables and the kitchen replenished food. Even with the crowds during the May Day holiday, we always found a seat during peak times. The hot food options like mini wontons and rice noodles were good. Most importantly, the location is excellent. It's literally just a two-minute walk to the corridors of Districts 3 and 2. Shopping for stationery, luggage, and outdoor gear is right outside the door. So, on our last day, before checking out, we spent another 30 minutes stocking up. For Districts 1 and 6, we drove. Although it's not very far, parking is convenient at the trade city, so we preferred to save our energy for walking inside the mall rather than trekking through District 2.

I booked a room at Holiday Inn expecting a comfortable stay and the usual quality associated with the brand. Unfortunately, the hotel is currently undergoing major renovation works inside the building as well as on the front and back exterior. Although I was told the construction noise would be limited to 9 AM–9 PM, I was woken up by renovation work at 6:04 AM on my first morning. Even on the 8th floor, there was noticeable noise, dust, and construction activity. The location is good and the staff were very kind, but I would not recommend staying here while the renovations are ongoing. Guests should be clearly informed about the extent of the construction before booking.
