Jinhua Hotels with Wifi

Yesterday's breakfast was disappointing, so I went back down at 9 AM today for breakfast. I was hoping for some traditional breakfast steamed buns (baozi). There was still an hour left until closing, and I asked the chef if there were any buns. I saw two large steamers, one with five or six plain steamed buns, and the other remained covered. The chef replied that they were all gone. Well, there was nothing I could do, so I ate some other things, which I didn't particularly enjoy, and had a coffee. I thought I'd check again for buns on my way out. Forty minutes later, it was still the same. So I called over what I assume was the floor manager, dressed in black. I told him I'd waited forty minutes for buns and hadn't gotten any. The manager asked the chef, who said no. Then, after seeing me leave, he made a phone call and said there were still some downstairs and that if I wanted them, someone would bring them up later. This is truly laughable. It's a five-star hotel, and I paid for my breakfast, but I don't even deserve a steamed bun? I think if I were the floor manager, I would have apologized first. Then, regardless of whether the guest had eaten their fill or not, I would have asked for their room number and personally brought a few buns to their room later, perhaps even with some drinks and fruit. I believe that kind of service is what truly befits a qualified five-star hotel.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guesthouse that truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The owner’s attentiveness sets this guesthouse apart from any other accommodations I've experienced. He ensured that every detail of our stay was perfect, from offering personalized recommendations to constantly updating and checking up on us.Their passion for providing an exceptional experience was evident in every interaction. The guesthouse itself was beautifully maintained, featuring cozy rooms with a unique decor that reflected the character of the area. The access road to the guesthouse was quite frefreshing with amazing views but the the last 1,3 km was scary. If you planning a visit I suggest ensuring that your vehicle is in good condition and ideally having an experienced driver behind the wheel. With patience and caution, you’ll be rewarded with an unforgettable stay in a beautiful, serene setting.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Stay in Hengdian! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian. The location is excellent—just about a 10-minute walk to Qin Palace and Dream Valley. There are convenience stores nearby, plenty of restaurants, Hanfu rental studios, and Youyi Photo Studio, making it very convenient for travelers and photoshoot enthusiasts. What impressed me the most was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to approach. They even upgraded us to a family room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The amenities were complete, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day. The room was cleaned daily, water and toiletries were replenished, and towels were replaced regularly. The best part? The manager went above and beyond by helping me purchase Zhang Linghe’s Molison eyeglasses! ❤️😍 As a fan, I was so happy. I also received lots of Zhang Linghe freebies, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, convenience, and hospitality. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it! If you’re planning to stay in Hengdian, I highly recommend this hotel.

Super fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle. Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel. There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set. The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors. The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups. The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day. The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi. Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.

Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel Rating: ★★★★☆ We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay: **Location: 浦江仙华檀宫国际度假酒店 **Check-In Experience:**   We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.   **Room Comfort:**   Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. **Facilities:**   The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine. **Service:**   The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out. **Room for Improvement:**   While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment. **Final Thoughts:**   This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.  In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages. Would we return? Absolutely!

The hotel is within walking distance of Yiwu International Trade Centre (district one). If you do not plan to visit district one, you'd better find another hotel, because the walking distance is pretty far from one district to another. We had early check-in (around 12 pm), and the checkout time is 2 pm. The room was decent, with a small bathroom. There was a hook that fell off, maybe it wasn't sticking to the wall properly. The hotel has a footbath (you can ask the receptionist how to use it). I hope that they will put instructions on how to use the footbath. My mom said her hair becomes itchy, after washing her hair with the hotel’s shampoo. The hotel has a washing machine and dryer for clothes, as well as for shoes. The breakfast was not bad, but I feel like the plates and utensils are not clean (still greasy).

As a first-timer in Yiwu, I found this hotel incredibly thoughtful. Right at the entrance, there was a map and detailed guide to the International Trade City, which was very helpful. The hotel's location directly across from the market is super convenient. The breakfast was also excellent, and the front desk staff were all very warm, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. The room was clean, making for a really pleasant stay. I booked a room at Holiday Inn expecting a comfortable stay and the usual quality associated with the brand. Unfortunately, the hotel is currently undergoing major renovation works inside the building as well as on the front and back exterior. Although I was told the construction noise would be limited to 9 AM–9 PM, I was woken up by renovation work at 6:04 AM on my first morning. Even on the 8th floor, there was noticeable noise, dust, and construction activity. The location is good and the staff were very kind, but I would not recommend staying here while the renovations are ongoing. Guests should be clearly informed about the extent of the construction before booking.

The hotel I stayed at this time was quite satisfactory. Parking is convenient, there is a bus stop next to the hotel, it is especially easy to go out by car, whether it is to go to the attractions or the business district is very convenient. The room is OK, the space is not cramped, and the daily activities are completely enough. Toiletries are also quite complete, toothbrushes, combs and face towels are individually packaged, and you can rest assured. Cleaning will be cleaned on time, changing garbage bags and replenishing daily necessities are very timely, and the desktop floor is always clean. The front desk and floor attendants are very good. They patiently answer questions when checking in. They also take the initiative to help with luggage when checking out. They smile all the time and feel very kind. Next time I come here, I should choose this one again.

Overall, I would give this hotel four stars, mainly because the location is truly excellent and one of its biggest strengths. The hotel is tucked slightly away from the main street, which actually makes it quieter and more relaxing, while still being incredibly convenient. It’s only minutes from the metro, the market, restaurants, and everything I personally needed during my stay. For location alone, I would absolutely give it five stars. I also want to especially recognize the gentleman at the front desk. He was tremendously helpful throughout my stay, always kind, professional, and accommodating. His service was outstanding and made a very positive impression on me. I stayed in the loft room, which offers a very good value for the price. The room itself was fairly nice, although there were a few challenges. One important thing for future guests to know is that the elevator only goes to the fifth floor, and then you must walk up stairs to reach the loft rooms on the sixth floor. For some travelers, especially those with heavy luggage or mobility issues, that could be difficult. The hotel would also benefit greatly from remodeling and updating. The facility is older, and a few things do not function as well as they could. That said, I can usually overlook those types of things when the service and atmosphere are warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, while the gentleman at the front desk was excellent, the woman who also helped clean the rooms was not particularly friendly or accommodating during my stay. A little more warmth and hospitality there would have made a big difference and likely would have brought this review to five stars. Still, overall, the location, value, and convenience make this a worthwhile place to stay, especially for travelers looking for easy access to the city at a reasonable price.
