JJiyi-nihaoThis was my first time visiting Yiwu, and I came specifically for the International Trade City. When booking a hotel, I was torn between the Global Hotel near the Trade City and this one. After looking into it, I found that hotels near the Trade City often had issues with noise. So, I decisively chose this local five-star hotel, which also offered three buffet meals and afternoon tea. The location is excellent, very close to both Yiwu International Trade City and Chaoyangmen. The hotel has been recently renovated; the ground floor has a very stylish design, and the overall aesthetic leans towards understated luxury, which I really appreciate. The elevators are fast, and there are even three panoramic elevators. All meals are served on the 22nd floor, offering great views and delicious food. The breakfast spread was quite generous, and I ended up eating too much. It would be even better if the dinner offered a wider variety of seafood and options. However, for the price on Ctrip, it's very good value for money. My room was on a high floor with city views, and the in-room facilities were new and complete. It would be even better if the minibar was complimentary or more reasonably priced. But, but, but the service truly was outstanding! From the moment I checked in, I received thoughtful, butler-style service. I arrived on the first night and left the next morning. The hotel's complimentary afternoon tea could even be packed to go. When checking out, the front desk attendant sweetly gave me a souvenir and some washed fruit to take with me. She was truly beautiful and kind-hearted! Oh, and there's also a Starbucks and a Japanese restaurant on the ground floor. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip to Yiwu.

GGuest UserSuper fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle.
Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel.
There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set.
The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors.
The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai.
The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as âlaoshiâ (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as âstarletâ. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups.
The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day.
The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi.
Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.

GGuest UserWe choose this hotel because the walking distance is 5 minit to hengdian studio. So easy. We arrive at 2am, and the hotel greet us and very helpful. The room is so comfortable with breakfast. I am Muslim, and able to eat side dish with egg, sweet potato, bun, yogurt. We check out, and hotel staff help us when they see we not able to get the Didi. GGuest UserMy business trip stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is fantastic, right next to the trade city, making it incredibly convenient for work and getting around. There are tons of restaurants nearby, offering every kind of delicious food imaginable â you can find all sorts of tasty options just by stepping downstairs, the choices are incredibly rich. There's even a coffee shop downstairs, which is a lovely spot to relax during downtime. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with a comfortable layout. The view from the room was expansive, and it had excellent natural light, which made my stay particularly pleasant. The hotel amenities are very comprehensive; the gym has a great variety of equipment, making it easy to work out. The exclusive laundry room was a thoughtful touch, perfectly solving the hassle of doing laundry while traveling. The breakfast spread was plentiful, with a wide selection of meats, vegetables, pastries, and drinks, all tasting great and providing plenty of energy for the day. The staff were warm, attentive, and friendly. Overall, the environment, facilities, and service were all incredibly satisfying, offering outstanding value for money. It's suitable for both business trips and short stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone.

BB_inCXianhua Sandalwood International Hotel
Rating: â â â â â
We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Hereâs a breakdown of our stay:
**Location: 攊æ±ä»ćæȘćź«ćœé ćșŠćé ćș
**Check-In Experience:** Â
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles. Â
**Room Comfort:** Â
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:** Â
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:** Â
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:** Â
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didnât detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:** Â
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.Â
In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages.
Would we return? Absolutely!
GGuest UserEvery time I come to Yiwu, I stay here, and it's always been great. Just one minor issue: the rooms don't have a full-length mirror, so it's hard to see my outfit properly. Also, in my room, the AC was quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

Very Good
HHerbivoreThe hotel is within walking distance of Yiwu International Trade Centre (district one). If you do not plan to visit district one, you'd better find another hotel, because the walking distance is pretty far from one district to another.
We had early check-in (around 12 pm), and the checkout time is 2 pm. The room was decent, with a small bathroom. There was a hook that fell off, maybe it wasn't sticking to the wall properly.
The hotel has a footbath (you can ask the receptionist how to use it). I hope that they will put instructions on how to use the footbath. My mom said her hair becomes itchy, after washing her hair with the hotelâs shampoo.
The hotel has a washing machine and dryer for clothes, as well as for shoes. The breakfast was not bad, but I feel like the plates and utensils are not clean (still greasy).

KKalina MomkovaI booked a room at Holiday Inn expecting a comfortable stay and the usual quality associated with the brand. Unfortunately, the hotel is currently undergoing major renovation works inside the building as well as on the front and back exterior. Although I was told the construction noise would be limited to 9 AMâ9 PM, I was woken up by renovation work at 6:04 AM on my first morning. Even on the 8th floor, there was noticeable noise, dust, and construction activity. The location is good and the staff were very kind, but I would not recommend staying here while the renovations are ongoing. Guests should be clearly informed about the extent of the construction before booking.

AARAS_313Overall, the stay was good, but the experience at reception really put a dent in it. We arrived a bit early around 7:30am, not realizing that check-in wasnât until 10am. Thatâs on us, but the way it was handled wasnât great. Instead of calmly explaining, the receptionist was quite rude and raised her voice, which felt unnecessary.
When we returned later, I spoke with someone more senior possibly the manager, who said she would address the issue. I also made sure to express directly how uncomfortable the situation was.
On the positive side, the room itself was really nice and comfortable, which helped make up for the rough start.
