GGuest UserThe front desk staff were very welcoming, and the room was bright, clean, and tidy. Breakfast offered a great selection. The hotel is conveniently located just 3.6 km from attractions like Qin Palace and Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, and about 2 km from Ming and Qing Palace and Guangzhou Street/Hong Kong Street Scenic Area, making it easy to get around! I also recommend the Yimiao Street Hong Kong-style tea restaurant next door; the food is delicious.

GGuest UserVery friendly and great hospitality by the owners. They are friendly and helpful and gave us a food and attraction strategy guide which was very useful as our purpose in Hengdian was to visit the major filming studios. The estate was located deep in a neighbourhood area and we have a small problem locating the front entrance desk. Currently they are still doing upgrading to the estate with gardens and swimming pool (refer to photo). I'm sure it will look amazing once completed. The estate was built in 2023 from the ground up and was designed by the same designer who did the Qin Palace. No wonder this homestay has this ancient building look. The room was pretty nice but I find the bed to be too stiff. I'm used to a soft and cushy kind of bed back home and couldn't sleep well for the 3 nights we are there. My family members have no such problem though. Homemade breakfast was provided everyday by 1 of the cleaner cum cook lady. She was super friendly and the food are fantastic and healthy. This is definitely worth a look if you are looking for accomodation in Hengdian and want to experience a more localised feel compared to a standard hotel stay.

At the top of a 20km mountain road (take the 东阳江 scenic road around the lake)
Small heaven in the middle of nowhere
It was raining but we still had an amazing time

NNiceChenchen1. When I got to my room, there were long hairs in the bathroom sink.
2. The breakfast was much worse than what you'd find at a Marriott Fairfield, even though the prices are similar. For such a well-designed hotel with great facilities, the breakfast was incredibly disappointing. The service was awful. I wanted to eat noodles, and it was the first time I'd seen cooked 3cm noodles in soup that looked like someone's leftovers. Many people just want a warm bowl of noodle soup in the morning to comfort their stomach.
I asked for a fresh bowl, but the server didn't seem to understand and was quite stubborn, saying, 'Didn't I just tell you this was freshly made?' The person who came over next, presumably a supervisor, was also very reluctant... It's like they want you to shout to get anything done, and I'm not that kind of person. So, I just gave up, didn't eat there, and went to McDonald's instead. This kind of service attitude is hard to reconcile with a Wyndham property; it's definitely worse than the one in Wenzhou. As someone who stays in hotels 100 days a year, I find this standard unacceptable; it's far worse than services at Huazhu Hotels and similar chains. What a waste of such nice decor.
Such good hardware and facilities in this complex are let down by terrible service and a lazy, careless team. It's hard to trust them. I recommend strengthening management.

GGuest UserWe choose this hotel because the walking distance is 5 minit to hengdian studio. So easy. We arrive at 2am, and the hotel greet us and very helpful. The room is so comfortable with breakfast. I am Muslim, and able to eat side dish with egg, sweet potato, bun,yogurt. We check out, and hotel staff help us when they see we not able to get the Didi. He found out we are still standing outside hotel for more than 15minit. He so helpful.so, we able to catch our train for our next trip. My family so great full. Tq

We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:
**Location: 浦江仙华檀宫国际度假酒店
**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.
In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages.
Would we return? Absolutely!

✅Service: The front desk staff are practically mind-readers! I was just about to look for a charging cable, and they already handed one over. When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful.
✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄
✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go...
✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children.
Overall, it's a super high-value, one-stop accommodation for lazy travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully, they'll have a few more XL-sized Hanfu outfits then! 😂

KKuqulademamaDuring the May Day holiday, major attractions were overflowing with people, so I decided to find a small town to escape the crowds. Luckily, I found this hotel, which significantly enhanced the comfort of my town getaway. The room had the flooring I prefer – I always feel carpets tend to hide dirt. The room layout was well-designed, clean, and hygienic. I especially want to commend their bedding; the duvet cover was made of bubble cotton, which was incredibly comfortable. Parking at the hotel was convenient, making it ideal for those traveling by car. For dinner, you can head across the street to the Sheraton; the food there is quite good!

ZZainishenbiandeyiqieThe room was great, especially the warm reception from Butler Xu. From the moment we checked in, he helped us with our luggage, introduced us to fun places nearby, told us what to look out for and what to bring when soaking in the hot springs, and even switched us to a room with a better view. He told us to reach out to him if we needed anything. The hot springs were really comfortable and effective for relieving fatigue. I'll definitely go back with friends next time.
