"Second time staying at this hotel. Came back because it was so good last time. It's located in the Yantai Economic Development Area, so good access to Golden Beach area and many Korean restaurants. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Free guest laundry is a great bonus. Breakfast is good with wide choice. Hotel was very busy because of the national holiday but the kitchen staff did an AMAZING job keeping all the dishes refilled at breakfast. Coffe shop on the top floor is nice with lovely views. All in all, good value for money. Would stay here again."

"Our stay at Mercure in Yantai was amazing! 🤩 The staff was so polite and attentive to our needs. On our first night we couldn’t get much sleep because of the construction noise, so the staff moved us to another room that not only was so quiet, but it also had an incredible view! The breakfast has a lot of food options, both Western and Chinese, and we probably gained a few pounds. 😅 It’s not very far from the beach, around a 20-minute walk, which was very pleasant during the fall. We got to see some of the attractions by the beach, like the lonely whale. I definitely recommend this hotel if you’re thinking about going to Yantai for a few days to rest and explore the city."

"Close to Golden Beach, about 10 minutes walk. The room is very clean and the service is very good. They basically responded to all our requests. I met some of the best front desk staff. They were also serious and friendly to children and gave small gifts. There are a lot of food around, and it is very convenient in all aspects. The breakfast is also great. "Located in the center of Zhifu District, Yantai City, close to Joy City and Wanda Plaza, it is a 10-minute walk from Suchengli, a 10-minute taxi ride from Yantai Station, and a 10-minute walk from Joy City Station for tourist buses on route 17. The location is very convenient. During the short holiday, the prices of chain hotels are ridiculously high, but local old hotels are more value for money. The room is very clean and tidy, and you can sleep peacefully. If there is a higher-end room on the day, the front desk lady will help upgrade it for free; the breakfast category is very rich, half Chinese and half Western, and local specialties such as Spanish mackerel dumplings and Penglai noodles are also delicious. Meals are added and the table is cleaned up quite quickly. Overall, this is a local old hotel known for its service. It has management background and star-level demeanor. "A fantastic travel experience! This Manxin Hotel boasts an excellent location – quiet yet central, right on Chaoyang Street. My kids absolutely loved the walls adorned with pandas! It's very car-friendly with ground parking available. The short-haired girl (I can't recall her name) and the slim boy at the front desk had exceptional service attitudes – very enthusiastic and proactive. My child accidentally spilled water and got the duvet wet, and the girl at the front desk quickly brought over a clean duvet and sheets, which were spotless and neatly arranged. Next time we visit Yantai, we'll definitely stay here again."

"I went to Yantai to run the marathon and booked this hotel, which is very close to Yantai Station and the starting point (Binhai Square). We arrived at the hotel a little after noon on the 18th and checked in directly. The front desk gentleman (who seemed to be the manager), noticing we were participating in the marathon, offered to extend our checkout time for the next day (which was a great touch!) and asked us to add the hotel front desk on WeChat and let them know if we needed a later checkout. There were plenty of bottles of mineral water on the coffee table in the elevator lobby (Figure 9) for guests to help themselves. The room was also spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and a convenient smart toilet. The disposable toiletries and slippers provided were also of high quality. The mattress was very comfortable, with the perfect firmness. Both down and memory foam pillows (?) were provided, allowing guests to choose according to their preferences. The bedding was also very comfortable. The room was not only smoke-free but also had a light fragrance. The only downside was that Room 611 didn't have a bedside control panel. Before going to bed, I had to go to the door to turn it off and then crawl into bed in the dark. However, the flaws outweigh the merits, and the overall stay was excellent. Highly recommended. P.S.
