The proprietress was very enthusiastic. I got off the train at around nine o'clock in the middle of the night and couldn't get a taxi. The proprietress drove us to the train station to pick us up. She also gave us a simple travel guide and introduced the scenic spots and Penglai's special breakfast. It's very close to the scenic spot and can be reached on foot. The room is very clean. The whole house is smart and has a smart toilet. It's my first time staying in a B&B and I feel very comfortable and at ease. At the same time, I would like to express my special thanks to the proprietress because I am alone at such a late hour. I made a call and she immediately picked me up. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip. I will definitely stay at her house next time I come here.

Whenever I travel, I always choose Mercure because of their consistently good service and reliable quality. This time, I brought my kids to Yantai and also picked Mercure. The location is easy to find, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. You can always find electric scooters right outside the hotel, and it's very convenient to drive to Jinshatan (Golden Beach) for a visit. If you don't need to be very close to the city center, this is a great choice.

I booked a sea-view twin room through Ctrip. Honestly, while the hotel opened in 2024, many facilities in the room are quite damaged, and the room isn't very spacious. There's no bathtub; you only get one in a suite. The only thing I found beautiful was the hotel's swimming pool. The view is nice and it's clean, but you need a sunny day to see the sea outside. Breakfast was a letdown. There seemed to be a lot of variety, but most of it wasn't very tasty, and many items like the egg pancakes were cold. The bath towels were also old; they weren't even as good as the ones at the Orange Hotel where I stayed for the next two nights. The service, however, was quite good. The staff at the entrance enthusiastically helped me with my luggage, and the front desk was also pleasant. The room's hardware and decor felt cheap, and the hairdryer was an old model. For around 1,000 yuan, staying here didn't feel worth the price.

The room size was just right, enough for two adults and two children to sleep comfortably. This hotel seems to be one of the better ones in Yantai; prices can increase two to three times during holidays. I saw it was around 300+ normally, but during May Day, it jumped to 800-1000 RMB. Their food is excellent, very clean and delicious. We visited Tianyue Bay in the afternoon and Penglai Pavilion in the evening. What really stood out was how friendly and cheerful the staff were, which made us feel very welcome. We had a minor issue during our stay, and Manager Li Ling handled it perfectly. I would definitely consider staying at this chain hotel again if I visit in the future.

Every photo I took turned out amazing ✨. Staying here felt like more than just sleeping; it was like experiencing a piece of history. The lobby even had delicate snacks, which was a lovely touch and a big plus for me. For anyone who loves photography or wants to experience wine culture, the ambiance here is simply perfect – the vibe is incredible.

I booked a deluxe room and specifically chose one with an ocean view in Building B because the windows there can be opened. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sofa bed in the room was very practical. It's also very close to Jinshatan Beach, and there are dining options nearby, which is convenient. The only downside was the breakfast; it was too simple with very few choices and could definitely use some improvement.
