The environment here is quite beautiful. I booked the Atour hotel next to Fisherman's Wharf. The whole hotel is very new, and the public areas even have a pleasant scent. The staff are quite enthusiastic, but the bathroom drain in the room had a bit of a problem, which wasn't perfect, and even after telling the front desk, it wasn't fully resolved. The hotel's location is relatively out of the way, so dining options aren't very convenient, and food delivery takes a long time. However, its advantage lies in the pleasant surroundings. It's worth mentioning that the hotel also offered a complimentary travel photoshoot. The front desk said someone would arrange a time, and the photography business seemed quite popular, as it was hard to get a slot later in the day. The staff were very enthusiastic, even when it was really hot and I didn't feel like shooting anymore, the photographer kept encouraging me to take more pictures. The staff were also very helpful when I was selecting the photos.

一步一脚印We were very satisfied with the hotel's location, service, and cleanliness. The pick-up and drop-off service was especially appreciated, particularly since we were a family traveling with young children and luggage.
This hotel is designed like a traditional quadrangle courtyard, so some rooms are on the second floor, requiring a short climb up a flight of stairs. Right outside the hotel, you're on the bustling Chaoyang Street, and in about a two-minute walk, you'll reach Guangxing Orchard, which is very convenient.
The front desk staff were also very friendly. Upon check-out, they even gave small gifts to my two children. There's a water dispenser in the hotel lobby with both hot and cold water available at all times, which was very handy.
The room was spacious enough to open two 32-inch suitcases simultaneously without a problem. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. If you needed to change, you had to ask anyone else in the room to avoid the area around the bathroom.

The Meiya International Hotel/Apartment offered worldclass service. The staff provides ample assistance and unending patience to foreign guests. Despite the language limitation, the hotel crew ensured that my requests are provided.
I booked the cheapest room available for my schedule. It was beyond value, loft type unit which gave a solo traveler like me a huge area to move around. the bed was big. the living area was a whole room by itself. there was a separate space for office work, a kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Meiya is very generous with space.
My room had a view of the city, through its floor to ceiling window. It felt first class.
What was a bit confusing is the names used through trip.com: Meiya Hotel or Ramada Hotel or Fulitai Hotel.
The location was perfect for the conference I attended, just a few blocks away from Yantai International Expo. Commuting via train to neighboring cities like qingdao and weihai is also easy with the train station just 5 min drive away.
There are a couple of shopping malls nearby too.
Overall, I am happy with my stay at Meiya International. If given the chance to visit Yantai, I would definitely come and stay here again.

Guest UserThe best place for a calm vacation on a beach for a affordable price.
This was a nice little hotel standing right in front of a beach. The placement can be seen as perfect as this large beach is wonderful itself and much better then the beaches at the city center. The only inconvenience to consider when choosing this or nearby hotels is lack of cafes and restorans nearby, so you'd better take breakfasts in the hotel, they were not bad, tasty and very filing, with serveral options to choose from. For other places to eat, except for a two nearby costly restorans, you'll have to wark to find one about 1-1,5 km or more. If you want to spend more time in the city center consider also the time to travel to it, about 1,5 hours on a bus, 30-50 minutes on taxi.
The service was decent, even though stuff does not speak english they were very welcome and supportive, helping me and calling taxi a couple of times when I needed it.
The hotel itself is clean. The room was cleaned daily, not perfectly as the floors in the room stayed a bit dusty all the time but that was not too much of an issue. The bedding was always clean, towels were clean as well and changed daily.
I have to say a few words about the beach and the see themselves. The beach is large and clean, there are trash bins which are cleaned daily. It have a sand of very good quality, indeed of a golden color. The beach longs for several kilometers and is from about 150 meters wide to 200+ meters wide depending on the tides. The beach is shallow but no too much, you can easily walk to a place where you can swim freely. It was August and the water was extremely warm and cozy. It was clean with little human made trash coming from the see, but due to temperature the water near the shore start blooming on a second or third day of my stay there. I had to walk 10-15 meters in a 50-80 centimeters deep water full of seaweed before I come to clear waters. I bit unpleasant but not a big deal. There were some jelly fish coming the shore, the see doesn't have dangerous ones though. The beach has some infrastructure, at least there is a place to wash your hands and legs and there are public toilets nearby the beach, but there are no safeguards on it. With an chinese specifics I would say that's a plus as they are too restrictive and protective here.

Raymond_FongWhen we reached this hotel to check in, we realized it's the famous Panda Hotel!
The room was big, cozy, and well appointed with modern decor and high tech amenities. It came with a voice-activated Baidu Assistant that was able to turn on the air-con and TV when we asked it to in Mandarin. This hotel also has a gym and laundry room. In late afternoons, this hotel provides free titbits and tea and juices in the lobby.
We booked the room that came with free buffet breakfast for 2 adults daily, free bottle of beer daily, and free 3GB esim over 5 days. This hotel surprised us with 2 free cans of soft drinks daily too! Wide spread of foods for our hotel's buffet breakfast. There's also live station where diners could order a variety of noodles, dumplings, eggs.
Staff at Yantai Railway Station Chaoyang Street Manxin Hotel was very professional, friendly, polite, and nice.
On the morning of our check out, they offered bottles of water for the train ride to Qingdao, as well as 2 packs of titbits for the ladies in my family. Such warm gestures.

ChirouwanzidekeairenMy top choice for every business trip is the Holiday Inn, a long-standing international brand. The hotel's decor is simple, elegant, and sophisticated, with a quality feel. The bedding is comfortable and clean, and the Chinese and Western breakfast selection is abundant. I especially love the various floral arrangements in the fourth-floor breakfast restaurant; they look exceptionally bright and charming under the sunlight, bringing a pleasant mood to the start of a business day.

I chose the Central Hotel for my dad's follow-up hospital visit, and this old-school hotel definitely lives up to its reputation. Every staff member at the front desk was fantastic; they had our room reserved in advance, so check-in was instant! The two concierges were incredibly responsible, surprising us with different little treats every day – so thoughtful and caring! The restaurant staff were very welcoming, and the cleaning auntie was diligent, tidying up our room promptly every day. All in all, the Central Hotel's service is so dedicated, which clearly shows their management is five-star. Thank you!

Guest UserI stayed at the Sheraton Golden Beach for four nights during my five-day trip to Yantai, and several things really stood out:
1. **Superb Location**: You can walk straight onto the beach and into the ocean from the restaurant's back door in about 30 seconds, no need to cross any roads. This is absolutely perfect for families with kids who want to play by the sea.
2. **Newly Renovated**: As a five-star hotel that's just been renovated, both the lobby, public areas, and the rooms themselves fully lived up to our expectations.
3. **Exceptional Service (Must Highlight!)**: We arrived at the hotel after 11 PM, and Ms. Molly was incredibly patient and efficient during check-in. She even added me on WeChat to help with extending our stay later. The next day, she promptly checked if we needed a late check-out or complimentary fruit, among other things. Her thoughtful attention made us feel truly at home.
While location, star rating, and hardware are the hotel's strong points, the warm and attentive service is its soft power. Sheraton Golden Beach, with both hard and soft strengths, inspired me to write such an extensive review for the first time.
Thank you again, Molly, for your service. Your heartwarming hospitality deserves all the praise. I would definitely choose Sheraton Golden Beach again because of you.

Guest UserOpened in 2023, the facilities are quite new. I really like the hotel's name, the in-room music, and the architectural design. It's a bit far from the beach, and the beach itself is rocky with no sand, but the hotel makes up for this by allowing guests to use the pool at the neighboring Westin. Please note that you must bring a swimming cap to enter the water, otherwise you'll have to buy one for 49 or order one for delivery.
I really liked the room layout. The bed facing the floor-to-ceiling window is something I haven't seen in other nearby hotels, which is a big plus. At night, you can see the lights of the nearby 'center' building.
The bathroom has a three-part separation, and the toilet stall has a sliding track door. Both this sliding door and all the drawers have soft-close dampers, which is great. The TV can access TV channels and is connected to the hotel's Wi-Fi, but you have to log in to the hotel Wi-Fi, so connecting to it is essentially useless. The TV has an HDMI port, so I recommend guests bring devices like a Nintendo Switch to enhance their vacation.
There's a seemingly random speaker that supports both Bluetooth and a 3.5mm jack, but you need to bring your own Type-C power supply.
The elevator with the missing letter in the picture belongs to the Westin next door.
There were staff at the entrance who helped take our luggage out of the car, which was very much appreciated. I had a very pleasant stay, so I'm writing this detailed review and would be happy to stay here again.

The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and it is convenient to travel. There are many parking spaces in the parking lot at the door. There is light music at the front desk, which is very nice. The room type is very good, the layout is reasonable, the bathroom is super large, clean and hygienic, and the mattress is very comfortable. Highly recommended.
