GGuest UserThis hotel is located on a bustling commercial street, yet it offers a peaceful retreat. It's a renovated historic building, and staying here truly feels like stepping back in time. The service is exceptional too. Since it's on a pedestrian street and cars can't access it, the butler came to a nearby spot to pick us up when we arrived. When we left, they even helped deliver our luggage to the Fisherman's Wharf, which saved us a lot of time. Plus, breakfast can be delivered right to your room! I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I get the chance.

GGuest UserThe proprietress was very enthusiastic. I got off the train at around nine o'clock in the middle of the night and couldn't get a taxi. The proprietress drove us to the train station to pick us up. She also gave us a simple travel guide and introduced the scenic spots and Penglai's special breakfast. It's very close to the scenic spot and can be reached on foot. The room is very clean. The whole house is smart and has a smart toilet. It's my first time staying in a B&B and I feel very comfortable and at ease. At the same time, I would like to express my special thanks to the proprietress because I am alone at such a late hour. I made a call and she immediately picked me up. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip. I will definitely stay at her house next time I come here.

AAquaNowThe Meiya International Hotel/Apartment offered worldclass service. The staff provides ample assistance and unending patience to foreign guests. Despite the language limitation, the hotel crew ensured that my requests are provided.
I booked the cheapest room available for my schedule. It was beyond value, loft type unit which gave a solo traveler like me a huge area to move around. the bed was big. the living area was a whole room by itself. there was a separate space for office work, a kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Meiya is very generous with space.
My room had a view of the city, through its floor to ceiling window. It felt first class.
What was a bit confusing is the names used through trip.com: Meiya Hotel or Ramada Hotel or Fulitai Hotel.
The location was perfect for the conference I attended, just a few blocks away from Yantai International Expo. Commuting via train to neighboring cities like qingdao and weihai is also easy with the train station just 5 min drive away.
There are a couple of shopping malls nearby too.
Overall, I am happy with my stay at Meiya International. If given the chance to visit Yantai, I would definitely come and stay here again.

GGuest UserThe best place for a calm vacation on a beach for a affordable price.
This was a nice little hotel standing right in front of a beach. The placement can be seen as perfect as this large beach is wonderful itself and much better then the beaches at the city center. The only inconvenience to consider when choosing this or nearby hotels is lack of cafes and restorans nearby, so you'd better take breakfasts in the hotel, they were not bad, tasty and very filing, with serveral options to choose from. For other places to eat, except for a two nearby costly restorans, you'll have to wark to find one about 1-1,5 km or more. If you want to spend more time in the city center consider also the time to travel to it, about 1,5 hours on a bus, 30-50 minutes on taxi.
The service was decent, even though stuff does not speak english they were very welcome and supportive, helping me and calling taxi a couple of times when I needed it.
The hotel itself is clean. The room was cleaned daily, not perfectly as the floors in the room stayed a bit dusty all the time but that was not too much of an issue. The bedding was always clean, towels were clean as well and changed daily.
I have to say a few words about the beach and the see themselves. The beach is large and clean, there are trash bins which are cleaned daily. It have a sand of very good quality, indeed of a golden color. The beach longs for several kilometers and is from about 150 meters wide to 200+ meters wide depending on the tides. The beach is shallow but no too much, you can easily walk to a place where you can swim freely. It was August and the water was extremely warm and cozy. It was clean with little human made trash coming from the see, but due to temperature the water near the shore start blooming on a second or third day of my stay there. I had to walk 10-15 meters in a 50-80 centimeters deep water full of seaweed before I come to clear waters. I bit unpleasant but not a big deal. There were some jelly fish coming the shore, the see doesn't have dangerous ones though. The beach has some infrastructure, at least there is a place to wash your hands and legs and there are public toilets nearby the beach, but there are no safeguards on it. With an chinese specifics I would say that's a plus as they are too restrictive and protective here.

FFrom a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question.
After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! After breakfast at the hotel restaurant, you can walk straight out to the beach without having to cross any roads, which is super safe, especially with kids. The sand on the beach is really fine, and there are seagulls. In the morning, we caught the high tide, and my child had a blast playing in the waves. What really stood out this trip was Potteryi; their service was excellent. Whenever we had an issue, they immediately helped us find a solution, and everything was handled perfectly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this stay and give it a five-star rating! The travel photography service the hotel partners with was also quite good; I ended up buying all the digital negatives. I'll definitely choose Sheraton again next time! 😊

GGuest UserMy husband and I specifically booked this hotel for a concert so we could walk to the venue. It's also just over a 10-minute walk from the West Station. I was pleasantly surprised when we got to our room; the sea view was absolutely stunning and crystal clear. It was a very comfortable stay. Since we had a late concert ticket for the next day, the front desk was super accommodating and immediately extended our check-out time to 2 PM, which was fantastic. I think it offers great value for money. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was quite delicious. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely book this hotel!
GGuest UserWe were staying in a B&B, which was very remote. We went there at night, and it was dark all the way. There were not many cars on the road, and the kids were a little scared. When we were about to arrive, we passed by a factory, which was a hotel on the side of the mountain.
First, go to the office on the roadside to get the key to check in, then drive with the service staff (riding a tram) into a similar village, and then make five or six turns to reach the destination (my husband and children went to the supermarket to buy things at night and got lost when they came back). In the unit building, we lived on the first floor (the quilt in the room felt very damp). The bed at the entrance seemed not strong (it was located in the living room) where the children slept. The door connecting the bedroom and the bath was broken and could not close tightly. I don’t know if the pool is a hot spring but the water is warm (there were hairs in the pool, but we didn’t use it). The bathroom is heated by solar energy and is warm (you can’t shave). The corners are very dirty. I don’t like this place to stay. Maybe it’s because of the first floor
AAnonymous UserThe price/performance ratio is very high. The accommodation environment is much better than hotels in the same price range. The lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic and worth recommending. The environment is elegant. You can drink tea in the front desk rest area. There are many roses in the community and they are beautiful. You can enjoy it here. The racing heart gets a moment of peace. May we all live the way we like.
