"During the May Day holiday, I brought my wife and in-laws to Yantai for a family getaway and chose the Bayona Ruiting Hotel, located right by the First Bathing Beach. Our entire stay far exceeded expectations, so I absolutely have to give it a huge thumbs up!
We booked one twin room and one sea-view king room. I was initially worried about my in-laws being uncomfortable, but during check-in, the front desk staff proactively upgraded our sea-view king room to a spacious and bright sea-view suite for free! As soon as we entered, there were two chilled Yantai-specialty apple juices on the table, sweet and refreshing, instantly washing away our travel fatigue. This small detail truly warmed our hearts.
I must particularly commend the hotel's service! From the concierge helping with luggage upon arrival, to the front desk patiently introducing local attractions and eateries during check-in, and then to the room service. One evening, feeling a bit cold, I asked the front desk if I could get an extra blanket. In less than five minutes, a staff member delivered a clean blanket with a kind and efficient attitude.
Breakfast was another major highlight of our stay! The buffet breakfast offered a dazzling array of choices: local Yantai specialties like mackerel dumplings and seafood congee, as well as Western pastries, coffee, fruits, and soft noodles and light side dishes suitable for the elderly.
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable! Just across the road is the First Bathing Beach. In the evening, we took the elderly for a stroll on the beach, watched the sunset, and fed seagulls. Binhe Square and Chaoyang Street are just a 5-minute walk away, making it super convenient to visit the night market and enjoy snacks in the evening.
What surprised me most was the spectacular sea sunrise visible from our sea-view suite! I could sit on the sofa by the floor-to-ceiling window and watch the sun slowly rise from the horizon. Later, I found out there's also a sky garden on the 22nd floor of the hotel where you can watch the sunrise.
We didn't get to experience the pool and gym this time, but when we passed by, we saw the pool had a sea view and the equipment looked very clean. The gym was well-equipped and also had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea – I definitely want to try them next time. The hotel also offers free parking, which was incredibly convenient since we drove. We parked directly in the hotel's backyard, with an exclusive passage to the lobby, no detours needed, which was very friendly for families with elderly members.
Overall, choosing the Bayona Ruiting Hotel for this family trip was definitely the right decision! From the room upgrade to the thoughtful service, from the rich breakfast to the excellent location, every detail made us feel at home. It can meet the needs of family trips, romantic getaways, or business travel. I highly recommend it to everyone!"
