"The hotel is a bit far away. It takes half an hour to get to the city center by subway. The housekeeping is very sloppy. The toilet paper is not replenished after it is used up. I called the front desk and it was still not delivered to the room half an hour later. I called again but no one answered. I had to go downstairs to get the toilet paper myself. It is obvious that they are short of staff."

"I frequently visit Barcelona and always choose good hotels, but each stay is a nightmare. I specifically requested a quiet floor, yet both times I was given a room right next to a cleaning room, and on a particularly noisy floor with early morning disturbances! I didn't get a single good night's sleep! On top of that, I was overcharged double for the city tax. The two previous major hotels I stayed at charged the exact amount shown on the confirmation, so this is the first time I've encountered a hotel with such arbitrary charges, and they even tried to justify it. When you're traveling, sometimes you just don't want to argue! On the second day of my three-day stay, my room key card stopped working. When I changed rooms, the front desk only activated the card for one day, leaving me locked out in the middle of the night—it was absolutely frustrating. For my fellow Chinese travelers considering this hotel, I strongly advise you to check in at the front desk in person to confirm your room beforehand. It seems that even when you pay a lot, you don't get fair treatment in Europe! You'll be discriminated against. The front desk staff will say all the right things but won't actually do anything for you! If possible, just go for a short-term apartment instead of a hotel. Of course, many apartments are run by Chinese people, and some of them also overcharge! If you don't absolutely have to, don't come to Barcelona! 😂

"Hotel Arcelon was a great hotel, everything was clean, the rooftop pool was an amazing add on and experience, the breakfast buffet was surprisingly tasty (albeit quite expensive, 17 euro)
The shower head was broken when I came in which was quite annoying, i would have thought they'd have this fixed prior to me using the room (had to fix it myself with some tape) also the tv was not a smart tv.
Location is quite far from the better/tourist parts of barcelona however only a 15-20min walk or shorter transport to get there. Reception and staff exceptionally helpful and kind."

"While admittedly not cheap, this is a historic building that once hosted The Beatles, and it's in a very central location, just a few hundred meters' walk from Casa Batlló and El Corte Inglés. We were a party of three, and the large bed was comfortable; the sofa bed provided was also excellent, with my daughter happily sleeping on it and saying it was very cozy. The hygiene was superb. The lobby bar on the ground floor had very reasonable prices, and they don't charge a service fee, plus the quality of the drinks/food was good. For breakfast, they offered fresh-squeezed juice, Nesquik, and even decaf coffee capsules! Slippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and all other amenities were readily available, and the room was spacious. They even provided a travel kit (small tubes of hand cream, lip balm, etc.), which was beyond our expectations. Although we couldn't check in upon our early morning arrival, they kindly stored our luggage and later proactively brought it up to our room. The room view was lovely. All in all, we had a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance to visit Barcelona. It would be even better if the complimentary water wasn't just provided on the first day of check-in, and replenished if used later."

"The location of the hotel is really good. You can walk to the harbour in two steps. It is close to the subway station. There are supermarkets and coffee shops downstairs. It is very convenient. We also use the Sagrada Familia and Mira House. Hours, acceptable distance
However, along the main road, noisy, is really noisy, friends with poor sleep are cautious
The rooms are not large, and the facilities are not new, but they are very convenient to use. The breakfast is average. I feel that the surrounding cafes may actually be better."

"very convenient location, walking to the center only takes about 10-15 minutes. nice room, minimalist, clean. before booking, I read comments complaining about the water pressure, but when I used it, it was fine, the only thing is that the faucet is a bit loose. the refrigerator is not very cool. those are the 2 minus points, otherwise it was still a very good experience."

"The hotel is neat and clean throughout. I really liked the room’s design and interior—it’s tastefully done. The reception staff is friendly and speaks English. While there were no bathrobes or water initially, they brought them quickly, even late at night. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, and you’ll need to take the metro to reach the city center. The breakfast is diverse and delicious—you can even enjoy champagne in the morning!"

XXiaofeixia7703The hotel is on par with a mediocre 4-star by Chinese standards. It looks a bit dated, especially the hallways and lobby, which felt more like a budget hotel. However, the bed in the room was very comfortable, and the room was reasonably clean. The pillows were the most comfortable I've slept on during my entire trip.

GGuest UserVery nice new hotel, with beautiful rooftop pool and bar/restaurant. The 2 bedroom suite that we stayed in was spacious, and we appreciated the full kitchen and living room. It was convenient to have a laundry room in the hotel. Overall, a great stay, and we would gladly stay again. The only slight negative is that the location of the hotel is relatively far from the city center and the airport.

GGuest UserLocation was good, the hotel was a good place to rest after a long train ride. However, check in and check out was slow. There was a loud banging noise outside the window at 5am in the morning, disturbing our sleep. Phone and safe deposit box were not working. Housekeeping walked into our room in the morning when we were still sleeping. They were also very rough with cleaning the rooms next door so it was noisy, didn’t help that the walls were thin.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location and stylish design. Metro and bus stops are right at the doorstep, putting most major attractions within a 20-minute ride. The airport is also very accessible, just an 8-10 minute taxi ride or a 20-minute direct bus journey away. The €25 breakfast is fantastic too. My only minor complaint is the slightly poor soundproofing, but apart from that, I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserI found this hotel miserable from many aspect. We arrived at midnight from the airport and we’re given the last room left. The room has a distinct smell that almost like a man’s underarm. We asked for a double room but it was two single beds put together. The shower head had a 30s hot water and 5s cold water loop. The bath tub was blocked.
We asked for a change and were given an upgrade queen bed room the next day, thank you for that. Unfortunately, the new room still has the underarm smell but a bit less, and also a new smell like it’s been a very old room with unventilated smell from some furnitures or the wall. The shower head problems was still there.
The location is alright, despite quite a distance from the metro station, you can still take the buses.

AAiwandexiaopengyouThe hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but the room size was decent enough, with more than ample space to open two large suitcases. And they had *duvets*! This was the only hotel among the several we stayed at in Spain that actually provided them. The location seemed decent enough, although we primarily used taxis. We found that for a group, taking taxis in Barcelona offered better value than using the metro. A branch of Joncake is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel – highly recommended! It's delicious and there was no waiting in line.

AAnonymous UserI stayed for two nights, and beyond what the pictures show, here's my personal take:
1. The room was spacious enough; even though it was long and narrow, it was perfectly fine.
2. The common areas are large and fully equipped, exactly like Moxy hotels back in China.
3. The biggest highlight 🌟 is the superb location! It's a five-minute walk from the train station, and with a Mercadona right downstairs, buying groceries couldn't be easier! It's also extremely close to both metro and bus stations, and if you love walking like I do, it's even more convenient! For example, Casa Milà is only a 25-minute walk away, and Plaça d'Espanya is just a 10-minute stroll.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, making me feel welcomed and valued.
The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary water, toiletries, and fast Wi-Fi.
The location was perfect – conveniently situated close to key attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety of options to suit every taste.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and top-notch service.

JJoe the world citizenThis hotel is located outside of the city center of Barcelona. It is just across from Fira Barcelona Gran Via, which has a L9 South metro stop. Hence, it is not difficult to go to the city from the hotel. The room is spacious with nice decor but the hotel seems a little old as there are some cracks here and there. The gym is usable but not really complete. There is a huge selection of food for the breakfast but they are not the best, either.

VVIKTORIIA DGreat terasse on a rooftop, but the swimming pool on it was not heated. If you stay in a suite, replenishment of the mini-bar is free. Very good shopping mall Westfield is located in front of this hotel. Quite good breakfast. But you will not find normal cappuccino in a coffee machine, only with chocolate.
The staff doesn't react on all requests in a proper way. E.g., 6 hours wi-fi didn't work, but the girl at reception told us that some guests informed her about this as well but her wi-fi is working, so she can't fix the problem. Also the day before the guy at the reception didn't tell me that still water will be replenished every day because we live in a suite. Actually it was.
