JJAsuonikeService: The guy at the front desk was incredibly handsome, like an actor. He was very welcoming, offered water and candies as soon as I walked in, and helped with my luggage. The guy who handled my check-in was very chatty and cute.
Facilities: Overall, the facilities were perfectly fine and normal, just like a typical foreign hotel. The only minor thing was that the hangers couldn't be fully removed.
Cleanliness: Excellent.
Environment: I chose this area because it was said to be safer. There are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby, making it convenient for shopping. However, you'll likely need a taxi or subway to get to the tourist attractions.

AAndrea_tutiangeThe room was exactly as shown on the booking page. What you see is what you get. Toiletries and disposable slippers were also provided. We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely.
The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.

Its location is a bit off the beaten path, a little far from the Barcelona Convention Center (Fira de Barcelona). During peak exhibition times, taking the subway is actually more convenient than a taxi. Overall, compared to hotels closer to MWC, it offers great value for money.

GGuest UserThis was my first trip to Europe, starting in Paris and then coming to Barcelona. Prices in Paris were ridiculously high; for the same four nights, I spent several thousand ********* dollars more there, and it was just a hostel. But I absolutely loved this hotel! It's away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas, located in a residential neighborhood, and not far from the metro station. It's a 4-star hotel 🏨, and the best part is the super spacious room with an enormous bed 🛏️ that was so comfortable I barely wanted to leave. The bathroom was also incredibly clean and huge, making it a joy to use. It was just amazing, absolutely amazing! I'll definitely stay here again when I go back to Barcelona. I'm even hoping to visit Barcelona again this summer. I really miss that big bed 🥹🥹 I’ll always miss Barcelona and Arcelon Hotel 🥹

LLynnzhengThe service was great and the staff were very welcoming. The room itself was clean and spacious. However, I felt the soundproofing wasn't very good. The sound of doors closing nearby often made me jump, and I could hear noise coming from an unknown source. The disposable slippers provided were a nice touch.

AAiwandexiaopengyouThe hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but the room size was decent enough, with more than ample space to open two large suitcases. And they had *duvets*! This was the only hotel among the several we stayed at in Spain that actually provided them. The location seemed decent enough, although we primarily used taxis. We found that for a group, taking taxis in Barcelona offered better value than using the metro. A branch of Joncake is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel – highly recommended! It's delicious and there was no waiting in line.

NNedraWe arrived on the train from Valencia at 11pm and had booked this hotel based on previous reviews AND the convenience of checking in to a hotel right at the station without having to walk or travel late at night!!! This was so perfect. I wld have slept in the next morning if it weren’t for the fact I had to catch an early flight back to Toronto.

GGuest UserWe stayed with my spouse and child. I would generally recommend Hesperia Hotel to everyone. The hotel's location is very good. The rooms are spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most importantly, it is a quiet hotel with no noise. For those who want to enjoy the Barcelona view, I recommend staying on the 11th floor or higher.

JJoe the world citizenThis hotel is located outside of the city center of Barcelona. It is just across from Fira Barcelona Gran Via, which has a L9 South metro stop. Hence, it is not difficult to go to the city from the hotel. The room is spacious with nice decor but the hotel seems a little old as there are some cracks here and there. The gym is usable but not really complete. There is a huge selection of food for the breakfast but they are not the best, either.

It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.
