Amazing
酸酸菜魚Great hotel option for a Barcelona city stay. We really liked this hotel at the edge of Barcelona city. This hotel is still within zone 1 of Barcelona so you can use a 1 zone public transport to get to and from almost anywhere in Barcelona.
The location is pretty good but it is a bit close to the La Mina neighborhood which is a poorer neighborhood of Barcelona. There have been improvements in the neighborhood but it is still recommended to stick to the areas that are near the hotel or the south and west of the hotel (towards the sea) if you plan to stay out late at night.
We found the area very convenient for us as we arrived early morning and the Forum metro station is nice and the area immediately near the hotel has reasonable level of security and local police presence.
The hotel reception and team was very cordial and serviceable. The room we got was very good, had a nice balcony and it overlooks the nearby student accommodation so it was silent at night. Breakfast was very tasty and had enough of a food variety + delicious breads and iberico ham.
JJulia LittlewhiteFirst time travel to Barcelona, the hotel looks great!!! The location is very convenient, we can go to famous spots within 30 mins, the services are quite good, the space theme is quite special and unique, only weak point is the air-condition seems not working very efficiently and the windows are not being able to open if we would like some fresh air. Others are all great:)
GGuest UserIt's a pretty good hotel, especially if you're traveling by car. It's conveniently located close to the airport, and the city center is only about a 10-minute drive away.
The rooms are quite spacious and look clean.
Breakfast was quite hearty, with options like hash browns and pancakes, and everything tasted good.
It's worth noting that all the elevators in this hotel are panoramic elevators, so those with a fear of heights should be aware.
SSlowWhiteUpon checking in, I was greeted by a very friendly front desk staff. The check-in process was smooth and easy, although I was surprised to find that I had to pay extra for tax, which was somehow excluded from the booking fee.
The hotel is located within walking distance of a large shopping mall called Glòries, but it’s a bit further away from main attractions like the Sagrada Família.
The room was spacious, bright, and clean. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. There’s a small swimming pool on the rooftop.
Breakfast was amazing. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, and the food was fresh and delicious.
Overall, I’m very happy with the hotel.
MM8657****While the price booked via Ctrip was quite affordable at the time, I still wouldn't recommend staying here. The hotel had an indescribable, unpleasant fragrance, and the air conditioning unit also emitted a strange smell, which was simply unbearable. My husband wanted to leave on the very first day of our stay, but having already paid, we decided to tough it out. There are some restaurants, supermarkets, and eateries nearby. Taxis are sometimes easy to find, but at other times they're scarce. To fellow Chinese travelers, if you have other options, I'd strongly advise against staying here!
NNagappan MuthiahMoxy Barcelona offers a stylish and energetic stay in a great location. The atmosphere is youthful and welcoming, with friendly staff and a vibrant lobby that doubles as a social and work space.
Rooms are compact but well-designed, with comfy beds, good lighting, and smart use of space. The bar and lounge area are great for relaxing, grabbing a drink, or meeting other travelers.
The hotel is well-connected to public transport and close to popular attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
If you enjoy modern design, good service, and a casual, fun vibe, Moxy Barcelona is a great choice. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or short business stays. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserRoom was clean, nice. Amenities were limited, like how can a 4 star hotel not provide slippers or toothbrush, nevertheless, I requested toothbrush and they gave me that. Service was good, they were friendly, cleaned the room on time. Location is a little far from the city center, but you can walk a little bit to the bus station and there’s a lot of buses going to city center. And also there’s a construction near the hotel, so expect a little bit of noise during the daytime.
KKam Fat MickyExcellent location with all kinds of public transportation including metro, buses to airport and major points of interest in Barcelona. You may explore some good restaurants nearby.

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.
Food and Drink:
We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.
GGuest UserI had a beautiful stay. I had been staying and loving the SLS Hotel in Miami and therefore wanted to try this new one in Barcelona. It looks very luxurious and the room I had was very spacious and just beautiful and well thought over all. The only thing that wasn’t super ideal for someone who loves walking a lot is the location. It was great, next to the beach and also really great amenities however getting to the city one would always have to take an Uber since it’s quite far away from it. At some point I started riding the bicycle and that was great as well but it just needs to be considered. Also you should not sleep with the doors to the balcony opened. They do warn about it at the hotel and for a reason. There are truly a lot of mosquitoes and just after one night leaving the door opened I was completely covered with mosquito bites. Also if possible ask for rooms farther away from the pool as that is where most of the mosquitoes will be. I got moved to a new room so the service is amazing.
