GGuest UserThis stay was really great. The hotel's overall environment was clean and tidy, and the decor was quite modern. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, making for a very relaxing stay. The location near Sakae was super convenient for dining and shopping, and getting around was a breeze. The front desk staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall, it offered excellent value for money. Highly recommend this place when visiting Nagoya.

DDaochuluanbendemiaoThe location right next to Kanayama Station is super convenient for getting around (I prefer it over Nagoya Station and Sakae). However, because of the single-pane windows, even on the 18th floor, you can still hear the train. Luckily, the noise level stays under 40 decibels, so it won't wake you up. There's also a shuttle bus nearby that goes to the Aeon Atsuta store. From the window, you can see an Aeon store, distant snow-capped mountains, and a little figure holding an umbrella on the roof of the building opposite. The twin beds can be pushed together, but there's a bunch of wires and equipment under the nightstand that prevents it from moving completely. This leaves a gap of about 20cm between the bed and the wall at the head, which is fine for a family of three to sleep comfortably. The mattress is a Simmons, and it's quite comfortable to sleep on, though the pillows are a bit too narrow. The bathroom looks a little older than it actually is, but it's perfectly functional.

GGuest UserI rarely write reviews, but this hotel made our family trip in Nagoya a complete disaster. We booked for two adults and two children. At check-in, the staff said our booking only allowed four people and refused to let my husband even step into our room to help us unpack — even though he wasn’t planning to sleep there that night!
I explained, again and again, that we were traveling as a family and were more than willing to pay extra for one more person. But the staff kept repeating the same rule with zero flexibility or empathy. My husband had no choice but to book another hotel for the night, leaving me and the kids alone for what was supposed to be a happy family holiday.
The next morning, things got worse. They continued to treat us coldly and wouldn’t allow my husband to enter, even just to help with the luggage. After so much stress, I decided to check out early—losing one night’s payment—because I simply couldn’t stand how heartless and unaccommodating they were.
Only when we were packing to leave did they suddenly offer to “upgrade” us to a larger room for extra money. But by that point, the damage was already done.
I’ve stayed in many hotels in Japan and always admired the hospitality here, but this was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. They showed no kindness, no understanding, and no respect toward families. I strongly urge anyone traveling with family to avoid this hotel.
GGuest UserExcellent value for over 1600. The front desk staff spoke good English and gave us a room with a view facing Legoland. The hotel facilities are very kid-friendly, and the restaurant serves food that children love. Don't forget to open the safe in your room – it comes with a bag of LEGO toys! For dining, I recommend the street behind the hotel, Maker's Pier, which offers a wide variety of choices. The hotel also has a children's pool where kids can play and even build their own life raft. Be sure to book in advance; reservations for the afternoon or evening slots open at 12 PM, and each session is 30 minutes long. There's also a small children's playground next to the restaurant.
GGuest UserGenerally a ideal hotel for families wt kids. New facilities, sizable room/bed, small kitchen, common washer/dryer at lobby, all very functional.
Only drawback is the location 15min walk to Sakae station, hotel located at lots of night joint/clubs surrounding..crowd at night can seems intimidating. But overall they will just mind their own biz...
Toilet/sewage has a faulty smell.
Overall still very good.

GGuest UserConsidering Tokyo's accommodation prices and standards, this place was an absolute steal! I wish I'd known; I would have taken a late Shinkansen and stayed an extra night, saving myself 500 yen.
Pros: The price was right, and the decor was lovely. From what I saw, it seems to be considered a 4-star in Japan. The service was very warm; staff greeted you upon entering and leaving. There was a welcome gift, complimentary drinks and coffee, and a microwave for heating food. Plus, free access to the public bath – a shame I arrived late and was too tired to go. The interior had a nice, distinctive style, and there was an air purifier in the room. It's not far from Nagoya Station, and right next to the Meitetsu Department Store (main building, 9th floor), which houses several of Nagoya's characteristic old restaurants, though there might be a queue.
Cons: It's a bit of a walk from Nagoya Station, a good 10 minutes that requires a bit of navigation. If you're coming from the airport, it's an extra 3-minute walk from Meitetsu Nagoya Station, but once you're familiar with the area, it feels quite close.
Overall, highly recommended.

PPweshiThe Apartment Hotel 11 Nagoya was a very convenient stay. It was super clean and comfortable. It's a walk to the subway and a short walk to other spots. There's lots of stores and restaurants close to the hotel as well. We used the airport bus from Sakae station to Nagoya airport NGO and it was super convenient (cashless service). They also have a bus from the airport that stops at Nagoya Tokyu hotel, which will be even more convenient. Looking forward to the next stay in Nagoya.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is a bit dated overall, its location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Nagoya Station, and the rooms are quite spacious. The service was very thoughtful; on our second stay, they had already opened the connecting door between our two rooms based on our preferences from our first visit and had placed our luggage, which we had stored at the hotel, into the room beforehand.

NNingmengqingThis was my second stay at the Meitetsu Grand Hotel, and it's incredibly convenient for traveling from Takayama to Nagoya. I arrived at the Meitetsu BC bus station in Nagoya via highway bus, which is located on the 3rd floor of the Meitetsu Building. The hotel's front desk is on the 11th floor of the same building, so it's practically zero distance! However, the shopping mall in the Meitetsu Building closed in March this year. I heard that this building, which has been operating for seventy years, is going to be redeveloped. I hope the renovated Meitetsu Building will be just as convenient! Currently, the Meitetsu bus still operates from the 3rd floor. To get to the unagi (eel) restaurant, [Sumiyaki Unafuji Shirakabe Bettei], which was recommended by Michelin, you can take the elevator down to the 3rd floor for transportation. My room was on the 15th floor, and I enjoyed the view from the window every morning and evening during my three-night stay. I forgot to take night photos, but it was beautiful! The hotel's front desk staff were excellent and very accommodating. This time, there was even a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, who provided a lot of help to us Chinese-speaking guests.

GGuest UserIt's very clean and tidy, and it's very ceremonial. You will be given a key to turn in the room. Then you can open it.
The linens are also the old-fashioned ones, but very comfortable. The room is relatively large in Japan, and it's close to the subway station!
