AAnonymous UserThe hotel perfectly blends traditional Japanese charm with modern amenities, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience local Japanese life. We particularly enjoyed buying groceries from the supermarket and cooking back at the hotel, which added a unique and fun dimension to our trip. While Nagoya's subway network isn't as extensive, Didi taxi fares were surprisingly manageable. We even came across a 'gram' store in Osu!

GGuest User1. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the Sakae shopping district, surrounded by numerous department stores and offering convenient transportation. If you're coming by subway, take exit 13 (which only has stairs) – but don't climb the stairs! Don't climb the stairs! Don't climb the stairs! Instead, walk straight ahead until you see a mall entrance, go inside, turn right, walk all the way to the end, turn left, and walk straight through the automatic doors. You'll then be on B1 of the hotel! The check-in desk is on the 24th floor.
2. The hotel room's design is quite clever, featuring many hidden storage spaces, which is rather interesting. The room is very clean, and the amenities are comprehensive. Both the daytime and nighttime window views are fantastic! Oh, and there's a FamilyMart convenience store and a drug store on B1, which is very convenient.
3. Nearby landmarks include the Nagoya TV Tower and the famous Atsuta Houraiken for hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice, served three ways). If you want to go to Takashimaya at JR Station, it's just two subway stops away.
All in all, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserLEGOLAND is perfect for preschoolers, and the LEGOLAND Hotel is fantastic with its themed floors like Kingdom, Ninjago, Friends, and Pirates. The elevator even plays disco lights! The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food. The shopping street next door, however, closes quite early.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is near many nightclubs and other places, making it crowded at night. In the mornings, the streets are littered with garbage and cigarette butts, making them filthy. Especially on Sundays, when there are no cleaners on duty, the trash remains all day and isn't cleared until Monday morning.
Although the people who gather at night generally don't bother other guests, because they congregate so close, we hesitate to eat at restaurants near the hotel or get takeout, always having to walk quite a distance to find food or food.
We were very satisfied with all the hotel facilities, especially the separate bathroom and toilet. The rooms were generally clean and well-appointed. The beds were large and comfortable, and the air conditioning was adequate. There were also some basic toys and games available for borrow, which was great!

MMeguyoshi TongThe location is great because it’s not too far from the JR Nagoya Station, so it was easy to get to places. The room was all clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even organized activities for guests to enjoy. It was great fun and the breakfast was really great! I loved it there.

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience.
A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.

YyouyuguitarLocated on an upper floor, this place doesn't quite feel like a traditional hotel. The multi-story parking garage was a bit inconvenient, as getting in and out was a hassle. However, there are plenty of convenience stores and eateries nearby, and it's only a 15-minute walk to Parco. The room had an odd angled layout, which was a bit strange. On the plus side, the service was good. Since there was only an escalator going up to the front desk, it was difficult to bring luggage down. The front desk staff impressively changed the elevator's direction for me – that was some seriously amazing service! 😅

GGuest UserI'm a local and I stayed this hotel because I had a meeting with my close friend at a restaurant near here. I didn't want to go back home in the midnight by taxi.
The location is good enough, close to Chikusa station. You can arrive at the entrance through the underground pass from the station.
The facilities are good, but not new, not super excellent.
To stay here one or two nights for a business might be fine, but I do not recommend you for tourism.
Good enough as a business hotel.
