"Location: A 3-minute walk from Sakae subway station, on the north side of the station. Shopping areas are all on the south side, just across the road. The 'little sister' district, as mentioned online, is just one street away from the hotel. Facilities: The decor is a bit old-school, but it's very clean. Front Desk: Check-in was very fast, and you can get toiletries for free. Room: Pretty standard, slightly larger than the average Japanese room. My small suitcase could be fully opened on the floor. Value for Money: Considering its location around the Sakae commercial district and decent ratings, this is definitely one of the viable options."

"Having stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka-Kitahama before and loving the room and breakfast, I canceled my other bookings and specifically chose to stay here for 4 consecutive nights. The hotel is very close to Nagoya Station, making it incredibly convenient for JR lines, Shinkansen, and Meitetsu. We had connecting rooms, which was great for looking after the elderly. Everything was wonderful, until breakfast... Breakfast was American donuts, literally just donuts. The breakfast voucher included an Egg McMuffin + a donut + a coffee (or black tea). This is really not suitable as a proper breakfast and simply can't compare to the buffet breakfast at Osaka-Kitahama. Everything else was great, it was just the breakfast that was a letdown. I'd recommend booking a room without breakfast."

"I have stayed in a number of Sotetsu Fresca Inn in Japan and this branch is wonderful too. It’s near train station but takes a while to find using maps due to the heavy construction near the station. There are 2 things I love a lot: 1. The room ambiance is calm and convenient. The color combination of the room is pleasing to look at especially after a long day of travel. Though the room is a bit small, buttons are conveniently located so it’s easy to access all the lighting buttons. 2. I love the buckwheat pillow which is therapeutic to sleep at night. I had a good night rest after a long overnight flight the day before. Overall, I will recommend this hotel as it’s new, clean and offers a good night rest."

WWengKeatThis is my 2nd time in a week staying here; first night was a larger room which was awesome; this is a smaller (and cheaper) room so nothing fancy and it is the usual Japanese-sized room. Check-out time is 10am but check-in time is at 3pm, which I think 11am check-out should be better. I think the hotel is pushing the limit a little too much probably due to its location which is 10-15 mins walk from Nagoya Station. No filtered water provided and not sure if tab water is save to drink as there is no sign. Surrounding has many eateries like Izakaya and Japanese food so it is convenient to ge food.

AAnonymous UserThe location is absolutely superb. There's a tempura restaurant right downstairs, and a huge Aeon supermarket next door where you can find virtually anything you need. Kanayama Station is just across the road, offering convenient access to both subway and JR lines, plus general shopping options. It's also not far from the airport. Aside from the room being a bit small, the value for money is unbeatable.

MMryxOn our trip from Kyoto Uji to Nagoya and then Takayama, we chose this Courtyard by Marriott hotel. It truly lives up to a five-star standard, with a fantastic overall ambiance. Both the lobby and restaurant are very spacious, and the rooms are a good size too. It's conveniently located just one subway stop from Nagoya Station. Highly recommended!

AAmeliaKuruKaraPros: 1. Room and toilet is clean. Amenities is also provided but require to take from the lobby which I feel is good. 2. Located 5 mins walk from exit 3 of Metro Fushimi Station. There is also a bus stop along the way which can brings you to Sakae area and other spots. Otherwise, walking to Sakae area is doable as well. Additionally, along the way to hotel, will spot the scenic spot of Science Museum. 3. I had opted to walked to Osu Shotengai Street from hotel. As is autumn, the route along the way was great as will pass by a park with great scenery and people. 4. Lots of restaurants/eateries, convenience mart and drug store nearby. 5. Breakfast was provided and not bad for my taste even though almost the same everyday. There is a tea/coffee/water section where is provided for free. 6. Soundproof was actually good to my surprise. Cons: 1. Room is quite small. I had brought 2 medium and 1 small luggage but only manage to open half of the 2 medium luggages. Barely able to walk and nearly trip on the luggage. 2. The hotel lobby is located at level 2 and require to take the lift. Believe was due to Japan public holiday or is a holiday season, the hotel was quite packed during my stay. At night when back to hotel, there was long queue to take the lift despite having 2 lifts. 3. Same goes for breakfast area, if you are eating after 8am onwards, too pack and the seating place are too limited. 4. Nothing much on the view as I had gotten a room with no views and overseeing opposite rooms only. Overall, despite the small room size and others, actually I find this hotel to be nice to stay at. I definitely recommend to stay at this hotel despite there are only few minor cons.

TTiantianzhuizhumaqidaThe location is excellent, right in front of Nagoya Station. I specifically chose it for its proximity to the bus center since I was taking a highway bus. It's super convenient with izakayas and the station nearby, and I even discovered a theater. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. The room size wasn't small at all, and while double beds are usually 1.4 meters wide, this one was 1.6 meters, which felt very spacious. Plus, they had a great selection of amenities downstairs.

Ggeorge****The room was neat and clean, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered a great view. It was a bit small, but perfectly fine for a solo traveler. The facilities were comprehensive, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The location was super convenient, right in front of Nagoya Station, with a Lawson convenience store downstairs and the Katsuo Izakaya across the street.

Wwinewine99The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem. Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them! It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient! The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it. The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻

About 10 minutes walk to Sakea mrt station. There is airport transfer bus service to and fro near sakae station & bus terminal. There are 7 eleven & family mart nearby & 24 hrs Yilan ramen restaurant right outside the hotel. Some noise pollution cause is near the road & night entertainment place. Overall, the place is nice & cozy.

VVinnie_OngRoom price includes breakfast, while the options are limited, the taste and quality is good. Love the curry and it's soft scrambled egg. Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.
