Amazing
SSpinachBKZStayed at TIAD in Sakae. The location is super convenient for transportation, with metro and bus stops right at the doorstep. It's about a 15-minute ride to Nagoya Station. The service was attentive. However, the breakfast selection wasn't very extensive and primarily consisted of Western-style options, so be prepared for that.

MM13701****This hotel offers good value for money near Nagoya Station, and it's very close to the Shinkansen exit. The room size is standard, which is typical for small hotels in Japan. You pick up all your disposable amenities on the first floor. Besides common items like toothbrushes and combs, they also provide small packets of makeup remover, face wash, toner, and lotion, which is really convenient. It usually costs around 500-600 yen and includes breakfast. The breakfast has a good variety of options and tastes great too.

AAnonymous UserOverall, it was pretty decent. The room rate in September was quite reasonable, and the location is convenient for getting around, situated in the Sakae business district. Several subway stations are within easy walking distance. The hotel was quite busy; I arrived around 3 PM for check-in and still had to wait for 10 minutes. The room wasn't small by Japanese standards, and it even had a massager, which was great for a quick massage after a long day of walking. The front desk area offered a coffee and cocoa machine, and the laundry room next door had an ice machine – all very convenient.
The only minor hiccup was that housekeeping misplaced my blanket. It took two days of back-and-forth communication to get it back. While their attitude was very polite, constantly apologizing, their service ultimately fell short. They only provided a hotel blanket as a temporary replacement *after* I specifically requested it. The entire process was very inefficient; once my blanket was located, they first sent a photo for my confirmation, which further delayed things, before finally sending someone to pick it up from the factory. I even had to alter my itinerary for the last day to wait for its return. Aside from verbal apologies, there was no compensation whatsoever. So, a traveler's note: always pack your personal items carefully before leaving the room...

GGuest UserThe facilities are brand new and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also appreciated that children stay free of charge and breakfast is complimentary. The only minor downside is its distance from the subway station, which is about a 10-minute walk. However, a taxi ride is quite affordable, usually costing around 20-something RMB.

MM370853****A truly excellent stay! It's just a 6-minute walk from Nagoya Station, very well-signposted, and surrounded by numerous izakayas, making the location absolutely superb. Both the capsule pod and bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean, with daily cleaning, so cleanliness is definitely not a concern for those on a one-night stopover. My only minor complaint was the extremely unstable Wi-Fi signal within the hotel. It was so unreliable that I sometimes missed important information. I hope the hotel can address this issue.

Wwinewine99The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem.
Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them!
It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient!
The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it.
The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻

MM469010****The hotel is right next to JR Nagoya Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding commercial area also offers excellent facilities. Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately impressed; the lobby is spacious, upscale, and beautifully decorated, already exuding a strong Christmas atmosphere. The front desk service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and detailed in their explanations—truly a testament to a grand hotel's standard of service. The room was compact but very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I'm very satisfied. I'm looking forward to returning to the Meitetsu Grand Hotel after my trip to Takayama and Gero to kick off my Nagoya city tour and shopping spree! I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

AAnonymous UserI always choose to stay here the night before flying back home from Nagoya Airport. It's close to the station, and it's convenient to catch the Kintetsu line to the airport. Especially with rising prices, this hotel offers a really friendly price point, plus they include breakfast and value-added services like welcome drinks.

GGuest UserLocation wise it’s around 8 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Wouldn’t say far but definitely not near either. Rating I would give is 3.8/5. Not exactly at the most bustling district but there’s this main shopping district - Osu which is within walkable distance! Do head to take a look!
Else everything is definitely satisfactory. I love the breakfast buffet (served 6am to 9am) everyday. Selection of proteins is not bad. Free flow eggs… The menu differs slightly everyday.
Hot bath from 630am - 4:00pm and at evenings till the midnight. Feels great! (Didn’t take pics due other users’ privacy) It’s empty and there’s no one else whenever I went, so it feels exactly like a private space to relax.
Housekeepers are super friendly too. Toiletries are placed at the public areas in front of the receptionist. Do remember to take before you set into the hotel!
Makes up good experience in japan.

AAnonymous UserThe bed in the room is relatively small, only about 1m8. The quilt is not very comfortable and loose, but it is definitely clean. However, the price is here. You have to go to B1 to take a shower. You have to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. It is only available from 4 to 11 o'clock. It is very close to Nagoya Station, but there are many motorcycles in the middle of the night, which is super noisy! ! ! There are Chinese check-in tips. The boss speaks Japanese English, but communication is still no problem. Random pictures. Lao Ba is cute
