This time, Nagoya was just a transit point for me. It was my first time exploring without lugging around heavy suitcases, thanks to coincidentally booking the JR Gate Tower Hotel. 📍 **Excellent Location:** The hotel is directly connected to Nagoya Station via a dedicated passage. Whether it's sunny, windy, or rainy, and no matter the size of your luggage, you're completely unaffected [Party R]. 🚧 **Unbeatable Transportation:** Nagoya Station is a hub for JR Shinkansen, JR conventional lines, Nagoya Railroad (Kintetsu/Meitetsu), and the subway. Whether you're heading to other cities or nearby shopping districts, you can quickly reach the hotel right after exiting the station, saving you time. 🏨 **Room Size:** The room facilities are relatively new. The aisle is wide enough for two 26-inch suitcases, and the guest rooms are located on higher floors, offering excellent views of the Nagoya cityscape. 🛍️ **Super Convenient for Dining and Shopping:** The lobby is on the 15th floor. Besides the breakfast restaurant, there's also a fairly large convenience store next to the lobby floor! Floors 11-13 below are home to popular restaurants, Takashimaya, and JR Gate Tower. Reliable wellness night. I choose this hotel because i want a good sleep before long transit next day, and it is exactly what i want. Good sleep, room clean, bed is comfy and have space enough for lay my 2 big lugguages. High floor with very Nice city view, good location walk easily to meitetsu station for chubu airport train. The public bath has very good decoration, smooth and relaxing. All staffs are helpful, the reception staff i've met she explain very clear for all amenity of hotel. The hotel location is near the fish market of nagoya, which we found good sashimi restaurant. And just walk only less than 5 minutes you can access to the unimall, underground mall with lots of local store, which for me it is very convenient for last tax free shopping.

Arrived in Nagoya late at night, and it started raining as soon as we got to the hotel. We initially went to the wrong hotel next door, which is part of the same group. The staff were very kind, confirmed our reservation, and even walked us over to the correct hotel for check-in, providing us with umbrellas. There's a convenient store downstairs, which was super handy. The next morning, we walked about ten minutes to Meitetsu Nagoya Station to catch a bus to Takayama. I'll definitely be back next time.

As a long-standing five-star hotel, the facilities are very well-maintained, and the entire front office service is professional and rigorous. However, the housekeeping and cleanliness in the guest rooms don't quite match the hotel's overall standard. I stayed for 6 days and the dust on the bathroom light fixture was so obvious yet it wasn't cleaned. I won't even mention other details. The service quality from the South Asian staff needs improvement.

Asked for a room, got the exact opposite of what I requested. High floor away from lift. So they gave me almost the lowest floor, literally next to the lifts. I booked months in advance, too. The lift itself isn't noisy, but obviously guests are. And sadly these guests were Japanese locals. A family who clearly had zero control over their children. Other problems, the onsen has no cold bath, all three baths are the same temperature, and the reclining bath has no purpose except to allow you to lie down. Plus seeing someone the member of a certain family covered in tattoos is a little frightening for my son. All this despite the signs stating no tattoos. Location is great for metro lines and for the IG Arena, if that's the reason for your visit. I would also appreciate the same manners in English that the staff provide local Japanese. Especially if the staff is already fluent in English. We too have polite ways of speaking to customers.

I came for a concert, and the hotel is right behind Niterra, so it was super convenient to just step out. It's also very close to Kanayama Station, which made shopping and getting to the airport easy. For Japan, the room size was decent and had all the necessary amenities. The lobby offered free coffee, and they even thoughtfully wrote a message for concert-goers.

Spacious room with modern facilities. The hygiene was good, and the location was excellent – close to both the subway station and commercial areas. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and malls nearby. The breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is quite old but clean and provides good facilities. It’s located perfectly right next to the Nagoya station and in the same building as Meitetsu bus station. So it’s convenient to take a bus continuing to Takayama and other cities without any hassles. Many cafes and restaurants are underground and nearby buildings. I would really recommend this hotel for the stay in Nagoya.

Stayed for 6 consecutive days. The breakfast selection was good, and it's a 10-minute walk from the station. A taxi ride would just be the minimum fare. There are plenty of shopping malls, drugstores, and restaurants nearby. I'll be staying here again on my way back.

The location is good. The room was clean and nice, but the shared toilet was built into the wall and was at an angle. I'm not very tall so I was able to use it, but it would be difficult for taller people. As expected, the area under the toilet was in a terrible state in the morning. I hope it's only on the floor where I stayed.
