4-Star Hotels in Petaling District

This is one of my favorite hotels that I frequently stay at, and I'm very satisfied with everything. The environment is clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The service staff are friendly and helpful, and they respond promptly. The pool and gym offer an excellent experience. Plus, there are all sorts of great restaurants nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, sightseeing, and dining.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! The room was spacious and comfortable, and I slept wonderfully. The location is super convenient, right across from a food street, so you'll have no problem finding places to eat and drink. Highly recommend! 5-star rating!

Overall, it's okay. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Even though it's an older hotel, it's still decent. It's near the Shah Alam mosque and next to a shopping complex. There are many dining options, including food trucks in the residential area behind the hotel.

The host was very responsive and quick to reply. Check-in was easy and hassle-free. The swimming pool is spacious and enjoyable, and the location is very convenient as it’s just next to the shopping mall. The only downside is the parking fee, which is quite expensive. We parked from 9:00 PM to 11:00 AM and were charged RM39.

The room was incredibly small, so tiny that it was difficult to even open a suitcase! There were no amenities nearby; the closest convenience store and restaurant were a 15-20 minute walk away. To enforce their no-smoking policy, they even locked the room windows to ensure you'd be caught and fined if you smoked. I couldn't even open a window to air out the room or get some fresh air. This is the first time I've encountered such a bizarre situation. I definitely won't be staying here again.

Clean outside and inside. A good location both Mossaz and Paxtonz are part of the Empire City in Damansara, Petaling Jaya next to the integrated shopping mall precinct rebranded into Hextar World at Empire city. Drive in and drop off at either designated lobbies under their names or drive into a well lighted multi-storey car park with security guards. Park car nearest to separate lift access to each lobby. Lift lobby up to units secured with unit access card. Deposit may be required depending on operator from RM50, RM100 or RM200 so prepare cash. Have BIla Bila Mart and food outlets nearby and in the mall, I guess. Saw a full pickle ball court nearby. Nice.

Additionally, bedding tends to be soft, and some mattresses are sagging. It's advisable to proactively contact them in advance after booking to confirm check-in procedures. At first, I thought the location wasn't convenient. But in the end, it was actually pretty good – a new area, with a shopping mall nearby. It's about a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the city center via a toll road. Having a gym was important to me, and the gym here is excellent, with a fantastic view. There's also a pool. The staff brought me a frying pan when I needed one and fulfilled all my requests 🙏🏽🤗. Sometimes there was a long wait for the elevator, but we were on the 3rd floor, so we sometimes took the stairs). There's a store and a cafe nearby.

Good budget stay in Kuala Lumpur. The room offers a nice view and is comfortable for a short trip. The swimming pool is decent and well-maintained. Check-in was smooth, but the room floor was slightly wet when I arrived around 3 PM, likely due to recent cleaning. One issue encountered was the safety lock, which suddenly engaged by itself and couldn’t be opened from outside. Thankfully, the maintenance staff responded quickly and helped resolve it. Parking is available but comes with an extra charge. Overall, still a value-for-money option with decent facilities, but there is room for improvement in maintenance and room readiness.

The host is not responsive at first. I started contacting him 3 days before arrival. i didnot receive even an email for check-in instructions. I booked the property more than a month before our travel… only when we arrived in the place that I found out that the number posted on the site is not theirs and the reply email from the email booking confirmation that i received from trip.com does not go to the correct host… During this time, I travelled with my 2 kids for the ice skating competition and we brought lots of big luggages for their costume snd props… Our flight is so early so we were unable to get enough sleep and we’re so tired… This is very stressful to all of us… then i just decided to bring the kids to sunway lagoon theme park while waiting for the reply from the host and the trip.com. i finally got an update from trip.com and the host at around 1pm. but since we were already in the theme park, we were able to check in at around 7pm. Anyway, trip.com gave me 3000 points for compensation for the hassle… The amenities are complete and the room was huge with 2 sofa beds, 1 queen size bed, a study table and chair, dining table and kitchen, which are basically my preference so i can cook for the kids. The toilet has bath tub but it doesn’t have cover so the kids were not able to use it. also, there is some smell going out from the drainage of the toilet, so i bought an air freshener. When i got the correct contact number of the host, i realized that he is actually responsive. I requested a clean up room on the third day, and he answered right away… although the cleaner came later in the afternoon, around 5 to 6pm (not on the scheduled time of 11am to 3pm). The property is connected to the mall, where the rink is located. So it is very convenient to us. Overall, i can rate this property as very good based on our needs during this time… and i will certainly come back and recommend this to friends. posted pictures were taken before we checked-out. thats why it’s so messy
