5-Star Hotels in Xinzhou

This hotel is incredibly popular, and we were lucky to snag a room. The room itself was very spacious. On the day we checked in, it was raining on Mount Wutai, and the mountain views outside our window were shrouded in mist, creating an almost transcendent atmosphere. The hotel manager and two other staff members we encountered were all very charming young men. They kindly helped us with our luggage, carrying it up and down, and also gave us great recommendations for places to visit. Their attention to detail was truly thoughtful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. When we checked out, they walked us all the way out of the hotel, waving goodbye, and repeatedly cautioned us to drive carefully due to the fog and rain, which we found incredibly touching. If possible, we would definitely love to come back again. Just two minor points for improvement, if I may: firstly, the pillows were a bit too soft, which isn't ideal for someone with neck issues; and secondly, it was quite cold that day, and the heating hadn't been turned on yet, so the toilet seat was a bit chilly.

Staying at this guesthouse on this trip was such a pleasant surprise, I absolutely have to recommend it! The location is great – quiet yet convenient for getting around, and the surrounding area is really pleasant. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the cozy atmosphere. The decor is simple but stylish, with thoughtful touches everywhere, making it very photogenic. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the bathroom fresh and odorless with a full set of toiletries, making for a truly relaxing stay. The host was warm and attentive, sending detailed check-in instructions in advance, responding quickly to any questions, and patiently recommending local delicacies and sightseeing routes, which made us feel very welcome. The common areas were clean and elegant, and the whole place was quiet and peaceful, ensuring a great night's sleep. It offers excellent value for money, perfect for a trip with friends or a family getaway. It truly felt like a relaxing 'home away from home.' I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful new hotel. The hotel is modern, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with excellent amenities that made our stay truly enjoyable. What stood out most was the exceptional service. The staff were consistently friendly, warm and very helpful. They went beyond simply meeting our needs, adding thoughtful personal touches to ensure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Their genuine care and attention made us feel truly valued as guests. The overall experience was so welcoming and comfortable that it genuinely felt like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return!

Qixian Pavilion Grand Hotel boasts an excellent location. There's a shuttle that takes guests right to the entrance, where you can catch a free bus to various temples. The shuttle driver was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. As a state guesthouse, the exterior is grand and luxurious, and the rooms have high ceilings, offering ample space. While some of the facilities are a bit dated, it's still quite clean. The absolute highlight, however, is the restaurant. Breakfast is high-quality, and while lunch and dinner are a bit pricey, the chef's cooking was the best I've had during my entire trip through Shanxi, from north to south. The ingredients were also top-notch. For such high-quality cuisine, staying at Qixian Pavilion is definitely worth it.

The hotel rooms are housed in a main building, about three or four stories high, and some three-story villas. The hotel is integrated with a cultural performance town. Unfortunately, the performances were suspended after September 10th due to the cold weather. In the evenings, a few shops were still open, and the lights were beautiful, with some hotel guests strolling around. To reach the main attractions, you need to drive or take the hotel shuttle. Parking is free, but breakfast was very crowded.

The day I came was just Mid-Autumn Festival. The housekeeper arranged the Mid-Autumn Festival Songxuan experience, the environment is very comfortable, and the photos are also very good. The small courtyard is just below the core scenic spot of Dailuoding. Quiet in the fast. recommend!
