Hot Spring Hotels in Xinzhou

I love this B&B. It's in a great location, just around the corner from the ancient city. Parking is available right outside the B&B, and the owner has reserved a spot. The courtyard-style structure provides a good deal of privacy. The door opens with a code, one per guest. There's a coffee machine in the lobby, and the owner personally makes your own coffee. The rooms aren't very large, but they have private hot springs, and the owner meticulously explains that each room has been thoroughly disinfected. The toiletries are L'Occitane, and the hair dryer is a Dyson, which is a very high-quality touch. Fruit and snacks are also provided daily. Breakfast is a bit simple, but that's forgivable, as open flames are not allowed. Highly recommended.

I'm writing this detailed review about our stay at Taohuadao (Peach Blossom Island) during the weekend of March 21st. Our family of five visited Xinzhou Ancient City and booked our accommodation there. Taohuadao is conveniently located, just a 10-15 minute drive from Xinzhou West Station, and easy to find. We booked one duplex and one flat-level room. The 'Wenkui' duplex even had a small courtyard. The hot spring tub in the duplex allowed us to open the window while soaking, enjoying the warmth of the water on our bodies and the cool air on our faces – it was absolutely delightful. The hot spring tubs in both rooms were much larger than we expected. We even suggested to the owner that they update their online photos, as the current promotional pictures don't truly convey the size of the tubs. The owners treated every guest like family. Upon our arrival, they provided directions to the ancient city, recommended sightseeing routes, and thoughtfully provided us with bottled water and tissues. When we checked out, they guided us on how to book a taxi and even helped communicate with the driver. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend. The ancient city isn't very large, but the prices are reasonable, and there's an abundance of delicious food. It gives you a really warm and welcoming feeling.
