I went to Mount Wutai by chance during the May Day holiday. I checked out many homestays and finally chose Tingshan. I added him on WeChat before I set off, and it was already past eight in the evening when I arrived. No matter what you need or when, the housekeeper Yin Yin will respond to you promptly. Along the way, from dinner time to the need to enter the mountain, the conditions of the journey were explained clearly and concisely, which made people feel at ease. I was even happier when I arrived at my accommodation. The entire homestay was beautiful and quiet, and the staff were very nice and answered any questions I had. We stayed in two room types, each with its own characteristics, but the ”courtyard” room at the back was more comfortable, especially when the temperature suddenly dropped and we turned on the fireplace, drank tea and chatted with our family, and looked at the distant mountains. It was very comfortable! Besides that, the apples in the room are really delicious and sweet! The black tea is also very delicious! After returning home, my father said that they would go next time too. I wish Tingshan gets better and better! See you next time! ❤️

The B&B is located at the innermost part, a distance from Wuye Temple, suitable for self-driving, very quiet. I like it very much. The house is clean and tidy, the bedding is super comfortable, and the room is smart. In short, it is great. I like to stay away from the tour groups and the quiet environment. I strongly recommend it. My foot was broken when I checked in, and the owner found a band-aid for me as soon as possible. The owner would go out to greet me when I came back every night, and sent me out when I left. He also gave me Wutai Mountain specialties when I left the store. In short, it was a great stay experience

This is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate . During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day. The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room. The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains. Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Highly recommend this hotel! First of all, the location is very superior, the traffic is in all directions, and the surrounding facilities are very complete. The room was cleaned very carefully, every corner was clean and there was no smell. The hotel facilities and equipment are well maintained and the experience is excellent. The staff service is gentle and caring, the response speed is fast, and the overall experience is directly full!

Wholeheartedly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable, with really modern showers/barhrooms. Additionally - the real highlight - Liu Kaidi couldn’t have been more helpful in helping to organize our trip with us. Amongst other things she: answered all of our questions we had about our hike around Mount Wutai, gave us a route and map, was extremely responsive on WeChat throughout our time in the area. She also allowed us to leave bags during our hike free of charge, helped us book and catch our bus to Taiyuan, arranged our bus to the East Terrace at 3.30am at the start of our hike (waking us up) and gave us a fantastic food recommendation for dinner (even walking us to the restaurant). Our stay would not have even the same without her help and we are so grateful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I came to the area.

Advantages: It should be considered a relatively large hotel in Dai County, especially with a very large parking lot in the yard of the hotel. Parking is convenient and very friendly to self-driving people; the room is also relatively large, spacious and quiet; the breakfast variety is relatively rich . Disadvantages: First, even if the full room rate has been paid, a deposit is still required when checking in. The reason is that there are consumer goods in the room (two large bottles of Nongfu Spring) and the hotel provides additional bathing, which is a bit confusing; when checking out He was told to put down the room key and leave directly. He said that the deposit would be refunded after the ward inspection, and he repeatedly emphasized that he could leave. However, I was confused as to whether it would be better to wait until the ward inspection to explain the amount of the refunded deposit on the spot; the deposit would be refunded. There is a delay, which is understandable. Second, the room card was very old. I couldn't open the door at first. I went down to ask the front desk and asked if I could change it. The front desk said it was magnetic and refused. However, I contacted the floor attendant and the waiter had to say no after trying it. The room card was very slow to respond, so I just swiped it up and down a few times. Third, I don’t know if it’s because the room is on a shady side or because of the linen, but it feels very humid. The quilt, sheets and pillows all feel wet.

I previously spent a few days at another hotel that was too far away from all the temples. So I decided to book a few days at this hotel and I'm really happy that I did! A lot of things are within walking distance, and the main temple cluster is only two or three stops away on the free shuttle bus service (No 8) Within walking distance: - Restaurants - Convenience Store - Fruit shops - ATM machines - Puhua Temple (peaceful and free lunch and dinner) - Small lake and park - Nanshan Temple (really peaceful) Two/three stops away by bus: - Main temple cluster Room is spacious and the bins were changed daily. The staff were really helpful and accommodating even though I couldn't speak Chinese. They were really friendly and warm, and never hesistated to answer any of my queries. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel makes a perfect 3-night stay for us. Perfect in every sense. The lady proprietor so efficiently and willingly planned the entire stay for us upon our arrival, booked (and paid on our behalf) the whole-day bus tour of all the 5 mountain sights, drove us to the starting bus depot, and even arrange our remaining private car routes to Pingyao, Taiyuan, Datong and Beijing. I absolutely recommend this place to stay, especially if you are foreigner and not familiar with Wutaishan, and all the logistics, you can be sure you will get all the help you need from this hotel, and your stay will be an enjoyable one.

It was my first time to go to Mount Wutai. I was a little confused after reading the guide. There were many problems with every hotel. I finally chose this one, thinking that it was at least relatively close. The whole family was very satisfied with the result. The room was super spacious and there were many original crystal ornaments. The view was probably the best. The Big White Pagoda was under construction and the Small White Pagoda could be seen. It is very convenient to park on Dailuoding and Dicos, and it is also very quiet at night. The car entered Wutai Mountain but failed to make a reservation. We entered successfully under the guidance of the boss. All in all, I am very satisfied and have recommended it to my friends. I will continue to stay at his house next time.
