The hotel is located in an alley at the south gate of the ancient city. It is a rectangular two-story courtyard. The rooms are spacious, the decoration style is stylish and simple, the switch socket is rich enough, the automatic water dispenser, bathroom facilities and disposable bath towels are of good quality. Many details such as the walls on the indoor and outdoor doors and the use of electric water heaters are decorated with extra warmth and elegance. The three-bed family room and the large bathroom make the family members go home warm and comfortable. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, the quilt sheets and pillows are clean and soft, and the night sleep is very quiet and comfortable. In the middle of summer, the journey was hurriedly changed and the clothes were not washed. The boss provided a washing machine and hanger, and washed it to the rooftop on the second floor. Not only that, the boss and his wife are responsive: plan the punch-in route, reply to the food map... Before leaving, I don’t forget to give detailed instructions on the parking skills and return routes of the ancient city... Although it is the peak summer tourist season, the journey physical and mental experience brought by this station, Far from being a good value for money or good value for money, the saying can express shallow praise! What is more memorable and cherished is that the shopkeeper adheres to the pure music pursuit and open-minded life ideal, and only then can he give this unique spiritual courtyard in the ancient city wall to the millennium.

The location of the homestay is very good, the green mountains and green cypresses can be seen outside the window are very quiet, the room is clean and comfortable, Zen, the three meals are also very delicious, the housekeepers are warm and polite, and the service is thoughtful. It is our favorite homestay in Wutai Mountain! ! !

When I was choosing accommodation in Wutai Mountain, this place immediately caught my eye. The service was truly exceptional. Whether it was the butler or other staff members, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic. Any questions or requests were always addressed and resolved promptly. The hotel environment is also very good. There are activities on the first floor that you can participate in, and the second floor even has a singing bowl space, which creates a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in the 'Red Rattan Cane' room type, which offered a very expansive view. A fruit platter was delivered to our room every day, but it would be even better if the fruit selection were more carefully chosen – on the second day, the strawberries in the platter had mold on them 😧. Breakfast was a semi-buffet. While the variety wasn't extensive, the taste felt very home-style, and the Wutai Mushroom and Pork Pancake was delicious! 🤤 During our three days in Wutai Mountain, we basically had all our meals at the hotel. The preserved egg and tofu was delicious and very unique. The meatball soup is perfect for those who prefer lighter flavors. Among the two hot pot options, I'd recommend the 'Special Warm Pot' more. In contrast, the 'Wutai Mushroom and Chicken Soup Hot Pot' mostly contained chicken bones, which was a bit disappointing 🤦‍♀️.

This birch forest guesthouse was such a great choice! ✨ The location is excellent, making it easy to walk or take a car to all the temples. The room was clean and tidy, and the soft bedding made for a wonderfully restful sleep. The fresh air system throughout the house made for a very comfortable stay. The facilities are new, and the decor is elegant and peaceful. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. As a family traveling with kids, we felt safe and relaxed. I highly recommend this place when visiting Wutaishan!

This is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate . During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day. The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room. The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains. Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Ever wondered what it's like to stay in an ancient walled city? This hotel is currently in its trial period, so you definitely won't find duplex rooms for under 500 RMB once it's fully open! Shanxi is a severely underrated destination, worth visiting multiple times! Ancient architecture, historical sites, old paintings, and ancient sculptures are everywhere. Entrance fees are often low or even free, and shuttle bus fees are very reasonable – compared to all the scenic spots I've visited! While I won't be returning to Yanmenguan, I can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daixian, whether for travel or a trip. Experience the clash of red and green, and the awe-inspiring ancient city and Great Wall!

This was my first time visiting Mount Wutai, and after looking at various options, I decided on the Marriott, which seems to be the best hotel here. Although it's not super close to the main temples in the scenic area, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus and direct bus service to the area, which is quite convenient. The service at the hotel is incredibly thoughtful, and compared to other guesthouses, the established five-star standard here is simply more comfortable to stay in! Thumbs up, I'd definitely stay here again next time!

I often come to Mount Wutai, and after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip, I booked a newly opened homestay: it is located in the most prosperous Yangbaiyu Service Area in the scenic area. The homestay is right there after you park your car nearby. The lighting on the first floor is a little blocked, but the second floor is bright and spacious, with antique decoration and exquisite details, much like the lay Buddhist building in a certain temple. The room is decorated with solid wood, the linens are comfortable, it is a brand new room but has no smell, it has floor heating and is equipped with independent air conditioning, so you can control the temperature yourself. The boss, Xiao Dong, seems very down-to-earth. He recommends some routes, makes travel guides, and also provides tour guide services. However, since I come here so often, it is useless. The store offered tributes, and the boss personally took us to the Wuye Temple to burn incense. It was very good service, five stars for encouragement!

The hotel makes a perfect 3-night stay for us. Perfect in every sense. The lady proprietor so efficiently and willingly planned the entire stay for us upon our arrival, booked (and paid on our behalf) the whole-day bus tour of all the 5 mountain sights, drove us to the starting bus depot, and even arrange our remaining private car routes to Pingyao, Taiyuan, Datong and Beijing. I absolutely recommend this place to stay, especially if you are foreigner and not familiar with Wutaishan, and all the logistics, you can be sure you will get all the help you need from this hotel, and your stay will be an enjoyable one.

It was my first time to go to Mount Wutai. I was a little confused after reading the guide. There were many problems with every hotel. I finally chose this one, thinking that it was at least relatively close. The whole family was very satisfied with the result. The room was super spacious and there were many original crystal ornaments. The view was probably the best. The Big White Pagoda was under construction and the Small White Pagoda could be seen. It is very convenient to park on Dailuoding and Dicos, and it is also very quiet at night. The car entered Wutai Mountain but failed to make a reservation. We entered successfully under the guidance of the boss. All in all, I am very satisfied and have recommended it to my friends. I will continue to stay at his house next time.
