5-Star Hotels in Yixing

This was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

This time, I came to a resort hotel deep in the mountains with my family. The environment is so beautiful, like a paradise. I especially like the landscaping design and layout here. It seems that every flower is planted in the right place, elegant but not gaudy. Each pool is a different view. Although I didn't see the blooming irises, it was not easy to appreciate five colors of irises at the same time. This is a hotel that is low-key and luxurious in terms of decoration style and garden design, which left a deep impression on me.

We got a free room upgrade, and it was really spacious with a well-designed bathroom. The afternoon tea that came with our package was great; the staff member was so attentive to the kids and even customized their drinks. The kids' play area and pottery making were a lot of fun. Breakfast was plentiful, and the dining area was huge, so it never felt crowded even with many people. Room service was very prompt and responsive to all our needs, especially with the kids. There's a shuttle bus to Yaohu Town and the water park, and as a guest, we had unlimited access, which made for a very enjoyable holiday. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

The hotel is in the small town of Yada, the surrounding environment is very clean and beautiful, and the nearby mountain view is also great. The hotel upgraded the room, very large and comfortable room, and the scenery outside the window is very beautiful. The front desk and the hotel butler are very good. The front desk has questions and answers. The service is very warm. The hotel butler informed the accommodation in advance and related guides. He also answered some details of the questions carefully, and helped to make an appointment for the lunch and tea picking experience of the hotel downstairs. The Longyinxi Mountain downstairs is quite delicious and highly recommended. The overall experience is very good, I feel very suitable for old age, very casual, but if you are not driving to play, you must pay attention to the surrounding traffic, there are still fewer buses nearby, it is recommended to make an appointment in advance to reserve a good time.

The only suggestion is that the room will be a little uneven due to the partition. The family members accidentally kicked the protruding part at night and injured their toes a little. The service staff is too good to say~ Haha

Because we had children, we were given a free upgrade to suites for both rooms. The hotel was exceptional in every way, including free breakfast and a hot spring bath. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the front desk lady, Ms. Shen, who even gave us a small gift before leaving. There's a river trekking area not far from the hotel entrance, so afterward, we could return to the hotel and continue our trip with the kids to the hot springs, swim, and more. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably priced. A perfect choice for summer water activities with kids.

The hotel is located between Yixing and Liyang, in a slightly out-of-the-way location, but it's quite large and has a very nice environment. Guest rooms and the hot springs are in the same building, making it very convenient to get around. The dining area is on the first floor and the food is decent. The hotel also offers bamboo rafting, boating, cycling, and electric scooter rides. It wasn't crowded on weekdays, and the hot springs could be booked entirely. Our butler, Xiao Wei, provided excellent service and responded promptly.

A 5-star hotel in Dingdu Town, the hometown of purple clay pottery. It takes about 400 yen and takes 15 minutes by DIDI from the high-speed rail station. The spacious lobby has purple clay teapots displayed like a museum, and it takes an hour to see them all. On the first floor of the hotel, there are four purple clay teapot specialty shops, so if you don't have time to go out to town, you can purchase quality products within the hotel. The room is very spacious, with a large bathtub and plenty of hot water. The shower booth can be switched between a hand shower and a rainfall shower. The room is equipped with a purple clay stone teapot and tea tray tea set, as well as black and green tea leaves. There is also a thick guidebook of purple clay teapot owners on the writing desk, which will soothe your boredom at night. I entered the room just as the room was being cleaned, and the cleaning ladies were very kind to me, as I don't speak Chinese. I was really impressed. The breakfast is not as good as a foreign 5-star hotel, but it has a sufficient variety and quantity. It is a Chinese hotel, so the only flaw is that they do not provide chilled drinks or omelets. It is not the hotel's fault, but there are few restaurants around the hotel where you can eat alone (for some reason there are many hotpot restaurants). The nearest convenience store is less than 1 km away. That is the only negative point. I stayed in May during the China-United Nations holiday, so it was a little expensive, but normally this luxury hotel is around 7,000 yen, which is a bargain. Of course, I would like to stay again next time. From the window, you can see Huanglong Mountain, which reminds you of the mining of the past. This hotel is a dream hotel for purple clay teapot collectors. If you are a purple clay teapot fan from Japan, you should definitely try staying at this hotel, you will definitely not regret it! The hotel is in a good location and is a relatively high-end hotel in Yixing. There is a large parking lot at the door, which is safe and convenient. The hotel has complete facilities, spacious and comfortable rooms, average breakfast, and a well-equipped gym. Some equipment is damaged and needs to be repaired and replaced in time. The professional image and service awareness of the hotel's front desk staff need to be improved. In the face of possible busyness during holidays, basic coping measures should be taken. About 5 kilometers away from the hotel by taxi, there is a ”Red Mud Hotel”, authentic Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, first-class service awareness, and recommended delicious dishes: steamed white fish, fried eel shreds, with Laoshayouhuang, haha, beautiful and joyful.

This stay in the train-themed room at Yixing Lanyun Valley was such a delightful surprise! I initially thought it was just a themed design, but it turned out to be a converted real train carriage, complete with tracks and a carriage on the exterior, while the interior was cozy and comfortable. The kids were screaming with excitement! The room was fully equipped, even featuring a balcony and a soaking tub – a truly exceptional experience. The hotel boasts stunning mountain and lake views, nestled against Baima Mountain and facing Yangxian Lake. The scenery is breathtaking; every shot is a masterpiece, far surpassing many scenic spots. We had a wonderful time here with friends. The air was fresh, the environment tranquil, and every corner was picturesque. Perfect for families and vacations, highly recommended! You absolutely must try the train room – it's unforgettable!
