5-Star Hotels in Yixing

This was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

The experience was fantastic—quiet, luxurious, secluded, and elegant, with excellent service to boot. The hotel boasts spacious grounds, making a leisurely stroll around the property feel incredibly relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and provide a great sense of freedom. Plus, it's convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Yixing truly is a wonderful place! There are also plenty of picturesque spots within the hotel for great photos.

The two of us elderly folks took a road trip to Yaohu Town and stayed at this hotel. We were beyond satisfied! The facilities were complete and the hygiene was spotless. The overall environment was upscale and very impressive. Transportation is extremely convenient, and the complimentary shuttle bus takes you to the scenic spot in just a few minutes with no time restrictions. The breakfast was also rich and varied. In particular, the front desk staff were extremely warm and welcoming, giving us a detailed introduction to the attractions, how to play, and things to note. They even added us on WeChat! From the attraction guides to the customer service, we were simply thrilled. The hotel also included free tickets to Yaohu Town, and more. All in all, both of us agree that choosing this hotel was the best decision. We will definitely strongly recommend it to our family and friends. Absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

The hotel staff provided exceptionally good and warm service. Before check-in, I was worried that my parents might disturb each other in a twin room (my father has asthma and night coughs), so the hotel butler kindly added an extra bed in the living room, perfectly addressing my retired father's preference for sleeping alone. Knowing it was my birthday, the hotel and restaurants decorated the entire place, and the hotel even gave me a cake! A wonderful surprise! The hotel restaurant service was also top-notch. Thank you to the lovely ladies at the Italian restaurant for bringing a special cake for my dog ​​with kidney problems – so thoughtful! The breakfast staff even brought the food to my table – the service was truly amazing! Throughout my stay, the butler service was prompt. There were three minor drawbacks: 1. Upon check-in, I noticed a beeping sound in the room. The maintenance staff arrived immediately and explained that the sound was from a device used to detect occupancy because there was no card for power. The sound couldn't be fixed. However, the sound disappeared after turning off all the bedroom lights at night. 2. The hotel lacks some small activities; most are expensive, such as paddleboarding. Given the hotel's somewhat remote location, I suggest adding more recreational activities. 3. The hotel still charges 100 yuan per hour for fishing even when guests bring their own fishing gear. I've seen other guests' reviews mentioning this; given the accommodation standard at this price point, shouldn't the fee be more flexible? This hotel boasts an excellent location at the heart of Yangxian Xishan, offering stunning mountain and water views. It's a low-density, quiet area with a strong holiday vibe. The butler service is well-established, with proactive communication before arrival, shuttle services within the park, and thoughtful welcome gifts, all with quick response times. The hardware is high-end, featuring private hot spring rooms with excellent privacy. Toiletries, bedding, and smart devices are all of high quality. Local amenities are comprehensive, with a full range of dining options, purple clay pottery workshops, and nearby attractions, making it a one-stop destination for a complete holiday experience.

Because we had children, we were given a free upgrade to suites for both rooms. The hotel was exceptional in every way, including free breakfast and a hot spring bath. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the front desk lady, Ms. Shen, who even gave us a small gift before leaving. There's a river trekking area not far from the hotel entrance, so afterward, we could return to the hotel and continue our trip with the kids to the hot springs, swim, and more. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably priced. A perfect choice for summer water activities with kids.

I took advantage of the National Day holiday to visit Yixing and chose the second most popular hotel in Yixing at the time. I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. Even before checking in, the butler, Gao Yuan, thoughtfully contacted me about my check-in time and other details, recommending various member activities within the hotel. He was always responsive and provided excellent service. I even tried the hotel's boat tour and travel photography services – everything was perfectly arranged. The area around the hotel is like a mini-Nianhua Bay, with restaurants and attractions all within easy reach. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with stunning views at every turn. The room was fully equipped with thoughtful details: the bed was height-adjustable and offered massage; the bathtub had disposable liners and bath sponges; there was an instant hot water dispenser; and the complimentary eco-friendly tote bag was perfect for photos. …Everything here was convenient and cozy. I really loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

I booked a garden-view room but was upgraded to a premium lake-view room. The lake and mountains were breathtaking from the window. The breakfast selection was rich every morning, and we enjoyed the hot springs in the afternoon. There were over a dozen pools, some with additives and some with plain water, plus a hot stone bed and a steam room. After soaking in various pools, a session in the steam room was incredibly relaxing. Our butler, Sister Xiaowei, reminded us daily to keep our room stocked with drinks, fruit, and dry towels, and even suggested daily sightseeing routes. The entire stay was incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home.

1. This review is specifically for a lovely, slightly plump young waitress at the Western restaurant (not the very thin one). Out of all the hotel staff, only she and the restaurant manager demonstrated the level of service one would expect from a star-rated hotel. They made us feel completely at ease with their warm, responsible, proactive, considerate, and patient service. I sincerely hope the hotel sees this review and gives this young lady some recognition or reward. Only by having more staff like her can the service truly match your prices. If it weren't for her, I would honestly be leaving a negative review. 2. The other service was very lackluster. I specifically went to the front desk to request a change of bed linen for our extended stay, but it wasn't done when we returned. The toilet paper in the restroom was also left unopened and not placed on the dispenser. 3. The Chinese restaurant was delicious; we ate there two nights in a row, and every dish was excellent, which was a pleasant surprise. For a secluded resort hotel, the restaurant is crucial because you're limited to dining on-site. 4. The hotel's location is great, and it's genuinely pet-friendly, which is very important for dog owners. True pet-friendliness means not segregating pet-friendly rooms, and it's understandable if pets aren't allowed in the restaurant. The large lawn is perfect for dogs to run around.

The hotel was full of surprises. Great place to stay if your into tea culture. Many shops, studio to learn how to make clay projects. Staff was great, especially mr. Li. I look forward to going back.
