Gem Hotels in Xi'an

This hotel in Xi'an was such a pleasant surprise for our self-driving trip! The facilities and amenities were beyond our expectations, from toiletries to leisure facilities, everything was so well-equipped and made our stay incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, with clean, crisp sheets and not a speck of dust on the surfaces or floor. Even the bathroom was sparkling clean, which made us feel really at ease. The location is absolutely perfect; right outside the subway station, it's just a few stops to the Bell Tower and Datang Everbright City, so no need to squeeze onto a bus. The free parking was a lifesaver for us self-drivers – plenty of spaces and no extra charge. We just parked and checked in, saving us the hassle of finding a spot. Plus, there are tons of great food options nearby, from breakfast stalls to Shaanxi restaurants and snack bars everywhere. We indulged in Roujiamo and Biangbiang noodles to our heart's content. A hotel that ticks all these boxes, we'll definitely choose it again next time we're in Xi'an!

The disadvantage is that the location is far from the Bell and Drum Tower, the Tang Dynasty City that never sleeps, and it is about 30 kilometers away. When I checked in, I didn't ask about the breakfast time, and the front desk didn't remind me. I called the front desk at 9:25 the next morning and found out that it was over at 9:30, and hurriedly took a few eggs for the children.
