Hotels in Yomitan

"Located in Yomitan, you can take a direct bus from the airport to the hotel, which costs 1700 yen and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained, and every photo you take looks beautiful. There are two churches, one on each side, and the famous Hoshino Coffee Shop is within walking distance. The hotel beach is just okay, but the water is clear. If the weather is good, you can see the ocean stratified like a 'jellyfish' sea, which is stunning. At low tide in the afternoon, you can easily spot sea cucumbers, blue fish, and hermit crabs near the reefs, which is quite interesting (I recommend bringing a pair of beach shoes). For breakfast, there are three restaurants to choose from. I tried the Japanese restaurant and HanaHana. At HanaHana, you can exchange your breakfast for lunch (after scanning a QR code, you can select to swap breakfast for lunch and make a reservation). The lunch buffet is quite good, with many Cantonese dim sum options, and the overall quality is excellent – highly recommended. The Japanese restaurant serves a set meal for breakfast with a small buffet; the overall selection isn't extensive, but it's more about the experience. The hotel service is very good, and the environment is beautiful. You can watch the sunset from the lounge chairs on the hotel beach. You can also take the shuttle to the Grand Mercure, then walk to Hanagasa for dinner or to Cape Zanpa Lighthouse. The Grand Mercure has more swimming pool facilities (the pools at both hotels are shared). Overall, the experience was great, and I recommend it. The only downside is that the area is relatively remote, so it's not very convenient if you don't have a car, but it's not a major issue. You can stay here for a few nights and then move to Kokusai Street for a few more nights."

"The hotel was lovely, clean and it has a park full of workshop inside. Breakfast also very good. The location is a bit isolated , but within 5 min walk there is a nice beach and 10 min a complex full of shops , coffee and tea houses. Probably better to have a car but for 1-2 days it’s totally fine. Thank you for your hospitality."

"Hello! This is the best hotel in my life, because it is spacious, very clean, and most importantly, has a beautiful sea view. We stayed in a large room. Despite the high humidity, there was a dehumidifier and an air conditioner, which created an excellent microclimate. The room hygiene was amazing — they cleaned every other day. The room had everything we needed (except for an iron, but that’s a minor detail). We had a room with a sea view. The sea was visible not only from the balcony but also from the bathroom. That was simply amazing. We had breakfast at the hotel. The price was justified. Everything was very tasty, with a large variety. We went to a neighboring beach for swimming, but sometimes we also swam near the hotel. Yomitan is a very quiet place, without unnecessary noise. Necessary shops are nearby. It’s a pity that many places close early, but again, that’s a minor issue. We didn’t have a car, but we managed — we took the bus. A couple of times we went to the American Village. It took about 30–40 minutes. We also took a tour around the island, including the aquarium. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you very much for your hospitality! We hope to come back."

"I was satisfied enough with the cleanliness and service of the facilities. However, there was a transmission mistake from the hotel and I couldn't check in smoothly. I don't know which responsibility because there was such a case when I booked at trip.com before, but I would like to use it again if I improve it afterwards."

"My stay in Okinawa was very enjoyable! I chose this place because it was close to the dive shop. Although it rained for a few days, the location was remote and public transportation was inconvenient, it didn’t affect my journey. The hotel is fully equipped, the environment is clean, the overall feeling of home, next to the beach, the price is very high. I chose the sea view room, if the weather is good, I will definitely see a good view. The boss's opening at the vegetarian cafe next to it is not long, other restaurants and convenience stores need to walk to the Readguchi Bus Terminal, but I have a great time relaxing here.
